Just picked-up the X1 on Mar 28th and had a great ride home from the dealership. Handles very well on the road with ample torque when needed. Hate the start/stop mechanics and the fact that you must deactivate each time. Hate the ConnectDrive thing—beware this is a sinister ploy to get more of your dollars and convert once standard car features into subscription services. It is evil. Love the interior. This is my third BMW, so I think this X1 interior is quite good for the money and I am astounded by the standard features list—Wow! And there’s a spare tire with tools in the trunk, WHAT!? I use a touch screen all day, so the tech is no stretch, as long as it works. We shall see, the OS is new. Dual clutch….hmmm, it has its advantages, but smooth take off ain’t one of ‘em. The seats are superb and the cabin very clean. Love the cargo space. This is a good vehicle for a certain group of buyers who want cargo and fun. This is a smart ICE choice, and I hope there will eventually be a U.S. bound iX1.

I had an overall really good experience. This is the purchase of my first car, personally, I don't have a lot of knowledge regarding the automotive industry and mechanics, so the guidance from the salesperson was very helpful and it's clear that it was in her interest for me to get the best deal possible. One thing I would recommend as an improvement is that I felt pressured to make a decision at points in the process. I understand that the role of a salesperson is to guide the customer into making a decision, but sometimes I felt that not all of my doubts were answered, or that there wasn't enough clarity on what stage of the process we were in. Additionally, the car turned out to have a malfunction on the battery two days after the purchase, which shows that the repair process wasn't done with extreme attention to detail. However, the staff was efficient and really helpful in fixing the issue and ensuring I was satisfied with my choice. The thing I'll highlight the most about the experience is the dedication to the customer and the desire for me to get a great deal.

The 2024 BMW X1 is nimble and responsive. It has an excellent memory for self-driving the car to back out of tight parking spots along the path the driver used to get into it. The car feels spacious inside and is easy to get into. My observed hwy mileage is 36mpg @ 75mph and 22mpg in suburban driving. It’s defects are: 1) the driver must learn how to start from a stop to avoid a sluggish pick-up or a sudden forward jerk; 2) the owner’s manual does not include directions for setting up the electronics, so the owner must resort to a complex cryptic in-car system that is difficult to sort through; 3) the built-in navigation system's is hard to use; the owner will resort to Waze or Car Play; 4) the car is bumpy on rough surfaces, and vibrates like a massage unit on washboard.

This is an update from my February 1, 2019 review. I have now owned the vehicle for nearly seven years. I’ve personally driven nearly 20,000 miles in it. The vehicle now has nearly 50,000 miles on the odometer. I purchased it certified pre-owned from a BMW dealership. I have maintained the vehicle to manufacturer specifications. I have only paid for routine maintenance. I have paid for zero repairs. My previous review is confirmed. Full disclosure, two repairs were covered under warranty by the BMW dealership when I purchased the vehicle and one other repair was performed by a different BMW dealership due to their mistake during a routine service.

Timely service and good communication. Ensured aware of all needed to be done and quick resolution. Will use for ongoing service needs. Ensure to schedule in advance to utilize loaner for longer service needs.

New bmw x1. Glides…effortless driving. Incredible performance. I’ve had three other x1’s prior…nothing comes close to the handling of the 2023. However…the huge screen is distracting, it’s not user friendly and by the time I figure out the new gadgets I’ll be ready for a new lease🤷🏻‍♀️

I can honestly say that after buying and leasing cars for over 30 years this is the best experience I have ever had at a car dealership! First I will start with my salesman Alfredo Barros. I reached out to the Delray Beach Dealership to inquire about an M4 2026. Within an hour, Alfredo had done a complete check of every M4 that met my criteria. He followed up with me after emailing and texting me several M4s that I might be interested in. He answered every question about the options on each car to make sure I knew every option that was included in the build. He was very knowledgeable and even though I have had several M BMW Models, he explained a few things I didnt know. Like the difference between the Full and Extended Merino leather packages. I had 2 other M4s that I was looking at at two other dealerships here in South Florida that also met my criteria. Alfredo asked me to come by the dealership to see it in person. Mainly to see the full Merino Red Leather package. By the time I arrived at the dealership, he had the car full washed and ready for me to see in its best condition. He then offered for me to take it for a test drive. While on the test drive, Alfredo explained a few things that are new on the 2026 M4 from the previous M4 I purchased a few years ago. After the test drive, we came inside to go over the numbers. It was at this time that Alfredo introduced me to Wonnell Godfrey. Wonnell was very professional, knowledgeable, and honest and upfront. He went over all of the information and provided a few different options depending on the down payment I was looking to make. He and Alfredo made me feel really at home not only showing me that they wanted my business, but that they both valued my business. Of course 50% of my decision was the car and the options it had, but the reason I went ahead and made the decision to lease the car from Delray Beach BMW without going to the other two dealerships was simple. As representatives of the business, my interactions with Alfredo and Wonnell won my business! I am a business owner for over 25 years. Yes, price is important but for me its not as important as the people I am doing business with. I knew after meeting with these guys, this was the dealership I wanted to do business with. By the time I started signing paperwork I felt like I was dealing with friends. Alfredo even bought me lunch, which showed his level of integrity since he already had my business. Not all dealerships are created equally, and after being in and out of BMW dealerships in South Florida for over 15 years, my future business will now exclusively be with Delray Beach BMW. (SHOULD LAST 70-100,000 MI) PEGGY OBTAINED PAYMENT FOR THE DEFECTIVE PART FROM BENTLEY BUT NOT FOR THE INSTALLATION. I HAD TO PAY $2000. WROTE TO BENTLEY CEO WITH NO RESULT. I BELIEVE THAT A "QUALITY LUXURY" COMPANY SHOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DEFECTIVE PARTS THEY INSTALL. THE MANUFACTURER OF THE DEFECTIVE PART AS WELL. i WILL CONTINUE TO FIGHT FOR THIS PRINCIPLE.
