Used BMW X1 for sale near Henderson, CO under $1,800,000

2020 X1 w/sport seats and convenience package, purchased in 2023. Positive notes: It's a true BMW: sure-footed, agile, and no shortage of power when needed. It feels remarkably glued to the road despite its small size. Handles as well as my former 3 series and is just as fun to drive. Storage space is good. Ergonomics are good once you figure out all the technology. Negatives: Ride is a bit bumpy, even for a sporty car, which is apparently caused by the run-flat tires. If I was buying new, I'd get standard tires and a real spare, which fits in the storage space in the back. Sensatec seats are hot. In retrospect, I'd hold out for leather. Overall, I recommend this car if you're looking for something small, practical, full-featured and sporty.

I had the best experience shopping here. They were helpful and patient with no pressure to buy. They found exactly what I wanted, even when I didn’t know exactly what that was. The process was pretty smooth. I also really like the option to return the car within 5 days and the 30 day warranty. All in all, they treat you right and take the worry out of buying a used car! Smallest SUV in the range and it still drives confidently. Plenty of power and torque from the turbo 4-cylinder. A very refined ride. Interior appointments remind you that you’ve bought a quality car.

I was here at the dealership a few months ago and I traded in my 2010 challenger on a 2014 challenger. The new one I purchased was an absolute gem. It only had about 600 miles on it. I thought “no way will this get approved” I’ll have to drive two hours back home without the new vehicle. Well I am pleased that I had Vincent and Kurt to help every step of the way. Smoothest and most professional car buying experience I have had over the years. The dealership was transparent as to the pros and cons of the vehicles I was interested in. The sales person made it clear she was not paid on commission and so I knew her input was not motivated to sell me a higher priced vehicle for her self interest. The sales person was a true professional from the very beginning.

The 2024 BMW X1 is nimble and responsive. It has an excellent memory for self-driving the car to back out of tight parking spots along the path the driver used to get into it. The car feels spacious inside and is easy to get into. My observed hwy mileage is 36mpg @ 75mph and 22mpg in suburban driving. It’s defects are: 1) the driver must learn how to start from a stop to avoid a sluggish pick-up or a sudden forward jerk; 2) the owner’s manual does not include directions for setting up the electronics, so the owner must resort to a complex cryptic in-car system that is difficult to sort through; 3) the built-in navigation system's is hard to use; the owner will resort to Waze or Car Play; 4) the car is bumpy on rough surfaces, and vibrates like a massage unit on washboard.

I?m not sure how I didn?t notice the air compressor during the test drive but regardless, I bought the car and I do love it so far! To be fair Alex did mention a noise from the AC but again I didn?t hear it during the test drive.

Highs: 1. It feels and drives like a BMW: sure-footed, agile, responsive and tight. 2. Materials, fit/finish, and aesthetics are good. 3. Tech is great, I particularly like the heads-up display. 4. All this in a small, practical package with decent storage space in the back. Lows: 1. Run-flat tires are firm and make the ride rough. I replaced mine with standard tires which meant purchasing an aftermarket spare. 2. Standard front seats are too short for anyone over 6'. I purchased one with the sport seats. 3. Ingress/egress is a little tight. 4. Worst glove box ever made; small and designed so that things fall out when opened. Overall, this is a great car IF you're looking for the driving experience of a BMW in a small, efficient package. If you're looking for the cushy ride of a Buick, this may not be for you.

This is an update from my February 1, 2019 review. I have now owned the vehicle for nearly seven years. I’ve personally driven nearly 20,000 miles in it. The vehicle now has nearly 50,000 miles on the odometer. I purchased it certified pre-owned from a BMW dealership. I have maintained the vehicle to manufacturer specifications. I have only paid for routine maintenance. I have paid for zero repairs. My previous review is confirmed. Full disclosure, two repairs were covered under warranty by the BMW dealership when I purchased the vehicle and one other repair was performed by a different BMW dealership due to their mistake during a routine service.

Its too soon to know about reliability but the performance is outstanding. It maneuvers beautifully in city traffic as well as interstate driving. It is quiet and feels put together well.

I will caution anyone reading this review on one thing..... The One Hour, One Person, only happens after you've decided on the vehicle. My appt was at 1230 and I left after 3:30. It was a little different because I ordered my car, and my salesperson got caught up with another client who showed up early. ... A whole day earlier!! I worked with 2 other salespersons, but it wasn't a deal breaker. I came in with my own financing, and only had to deal with their sales pitch of items which I was already going to buy (extended warranty, dent protection). This was the best experience I've had with a dealer because I was prepared, and the car I wanted was already allocated to me. Lastly, I want to commend this dealership for not marking the car up with unnecessary fees, or after delivery accessories, like paint protect, tint, car bra's, seat protector, etc! I don't believe I'll be back anytime soon, because, for one it's a Honda, and two, it's a Honda!! If I need another car in the future, I'll definitely go here first. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

I've had three 2015 X1's. Drove the wheels off one, one got stolen and on my third. Love this car! So economical and the gps is off satellite, not cell tower. Get maps ANYWHERE, for life. I only have 72k on it and will be my last vehicle.
