It's all about the B58 in the M40i. I dinged it one star on comfort because this little SUV rides quite "sporty" even in Comfort mode. I absolutely love this about the car, but I could see how some would feel this is too harsh as it is not a luxurious, cushy ride. But tuck this little beast into a fast corner and it's just...wow! This little German SUV is a sleeper. While the X3M is very nice, the M40i is the perfect balance in my opinion. BMW has really stepped up their game in the X3.

This place deserves more than 5 stars. I wanted a special M sport BMW with extra safety options and I was looking for a while. Finally, I found more than a few at San Diego Beemers so I called them and they showed me the cars in the Showroom on FaceTime then I made an appointment. I drove three hours from Ventura when I arrived, Massimo showed us to Showroom. He was very open and respectful. He showed me many options. Told me everything in detail about the car packages. I was shocked how much he knows about BMW. He finally helped me choose the best M Sport BMW with the best options. I definitely recommend getting your BMW here at San Diego Beemers. They have the best customer service and the best BMW cars.

I love the car and at the same time I can't help to hate it. What I love about the car would be the luxurious interior, comfortable and quiet cabin, smooth ride, ease of access, and a few extra features that were put in as an add-on. What I don't like about this car would be the poor fuel economy for the 30i model, especially when compared to the B-58 engine. Apple carplay connection issues, no option for remote start unless I want to void warranty, and no option for the iDrive Recorder App. Exterior Styling - 8.5/10 Interior Styling - 9/10 Comfort - 9.5/10 Cargo space - 8.5/10 Driving smoothness - 9.5/10 Horsepower - 7/10 Fuel Economy - 3/10 It's been an overall fun car to get around in. It's easy to get in and out of, smooth on bumpy roads, and it is quiet. The fact that only 2022 models and newer offer remote start and iDrive recorder is a big disappointment. But I think my biggest disappointment would be the fuel economy. As I had the B-58 in the past and averaged out 11.5L/100km and in this X3 am averaging 13.5/100km which was worse than my pick up truck. I might not keep this car for long-term just because of how poor the fuel economy is.

Love it. Car is comfy, quick and the wonderful B58 Twin-Scroll Turbo I6 makes all the right noises! Awesome daily driver. Period! Interior has all of the amenities you could ever ask for. Ride is luxury-oriented but also can grip & RIP through the corners, almost as well as any sports sedan out there pretty much.

Prices seemed fair especially after the salesman told me all repairs and maintenance had already been done. He showed me the back and I saw a bunch of guys working on cars. I just purchased a beautiful 840i. Massimo was amazing!!!! This man knows every detail about every car they sell. In looking around the showroom it is obvious that they are all high end cars in excellent condition. I have been in sales and sales training for 47 years. There were no tricks no pressure or problems. Honest and genuine professionalism. I had a 3 hr drive home and loved the drive. The key point is Massimo called me the next day to check if I had any questions which I did and he patiently answered. Most sales people are afraid of that call. He is truly the best and their inventory is high quality. 5 stars all around.

First of all, we loved my experience with Mr. Joe Billones. The genuine and polite way he talks and communicates makes us feel very comfortable during the process. He is that kind of sales consultant that we would ever want to work with. We did a test drive with Joe, he was very funny and patient. He listens to us, knows what we want and doesn't make us feel pushy at all. The second day we went to another Lexus dealer for another test drive and we didn't enjoy the experience there at all, so we texted Joe back. He was very genuine and caring. STAR AUTO MALL: Worst car dealer EVER! I bought a 2017 BMW X3. They never checked the car! I had problems immediately! I called, emailed & texted... Star Auto Mall would NOT return my calls, texts or emails! I went to BMW dealer, and they found lots of issues! Wires hanging down, tires rubbing, etc. It cost me $480 to fix it! I billed Star Auto Mall, and it looks like they're just chucking me the finger!! AVOID these incompetent thieves! This Truck is a replacement for 2008 LR HSE (totaled) I just got it over a month ago and it is good so far. Very fun( zippy) to drive. Wish the seats were more comfortable. I have the 35i XLine. 79k on the clock. You have to get familiar with the idrive, also my heads-up display is not working properly. There is also a coolant leak which will be taken care of under warranty. This vehicle also used premium gas. Soo far we will see how reliable it shall be.

I cannot believe that BMW put a 4 cylinder with turbo in an X3. It is the single problem I have with my car. otherwise it is perfect. The 6 cylinder in my 2005 was Awesome!!!!! BMW stands for Performance, GIVE IT.
