It's all about the B58 in the M40i. I dinged it one star on comfort because this little SUV rides quite "sporty" even in Comfort mode. I absolutely love this about the car, but I could see how some would feel this is too harsh as it is not a luxurious, cushy ride. But tuck this little beast into a fast corner and it's just...wow! This little German SUV is a sleeper. While the X3M is very nice, the M40i is the perfect balance in my opinion. BMW has really stepped up their game in the X3.

This is my 2nd BMW after keeping my previous 528 for over a dozen years ! Still going strong but had to change. After test driving a few, came back to BMW... Its like Apple, once you get an iPhone, it is hard to switch ! Bought a CPO, which gives us more time. Nice car. Good power. Have to constantly check the speedometer to ensure we stay within limits ! So silent and smooth... Love it !

I absolutely love this car. Sleek design, very sharp looking. Drives like a dream. It takes a bit to learn where controls are for dash but, once you got it down, its easy.

We were in the market for a new car and the Mazda CX-5 was one of our choices. We were greeted in the parking lot by Damien Rivera who asked us if he could show us anything. We did a test drive and liked the car very much. We didn't care for the black interior and asked if they had one with a lighter interior. He found us a red one with parchment interior and everything else about it was perfect. We talked pricing and Damien told us about benefits of leasing and purchasing, as well as any drawbacks. They gave us a good trade-in on our 10 yr old SUV that we had dropped off at another dealer for diagnostics. Damien called us two days later and told us our new car would be available for pickup once he got it detailed (about two hours after the phone call). He even went with us to the other dealer to get our stuff from our old car that was still sitting in the lot with no info about what was wrong after five days. We love our new car, Damien was a great salesman. Plus, everyone at Naples Mazda, from Insurance to Finance was excellent. We had two Mazda minivans years ago and loved them. This new Mazda is beautiful and we are happy we went to Mazda first to check out replacement cars.

The main issue I've had with this car is learning its vast number of controls, some of which are in strange places (such as at the end of the directional signal stalk) and are not clearly marked. The gearshift, for example, is counter-intuitive, and is moved backwards to go forwards, and vice versa-unlike most cars, it doesn't really move and fit into a slot for the appropriate gear. For no fathomable reason, the rear view camera stays on when you then drive forward. The warning system, for a car crossing or a person crossing, is unreliable; for example, if you have the car in reverse, the car hasn't moved yet, but a person walks behind the car, the warning signal does not sound--it only sounds if the car is already moving in reverse (if the pedestrian was walking right behind the car, you already hit him or her). There are also other "features" that make no sense. On the other hand, the car is fun to drive, reasonably powerful, attractive (I think--my wife disagrees), comfortable (except that one feels remarkably many bumps in the road), and quiet.

Love it. Car is comfy, quick and the wonderful B58 Twin-Scroll Turbo I6 makes all the right noises! Awesome daily driver. Period! Interior has all of the amenities you could ever ask for. Ride is luxury-oriented but also can grip & RIP through the corners, almost as well as any sports sedan out there pretty much.

My sales agent, Matthew Christian was extremely supportive. He thoroughly explained my options and made recommendations that he felt best fit my needs. I highly recommend him. My finance person Ana was also very helpful in making the purchase of my Lexus a smooth transaction.

I love the car and at the same time I can't help to hate it. What I love about the car would be the luxurious interior, comfortable and quiet cabin, smooth ride, ease of access, and a few extra features that were put in as an add-on. What I don't like about this car would be the poor fuel economy for the 30i model, especially when compared to the B-58 engine. Apple carplay connection issues, no option for remote start unless I want to void warranty, and no option for the iDrive Recorder App. Exterior Styling - 8.5/10 Interior Styling - 9/10 Comfort - 9.5/10 Cargo space - 8.5/10 Driving smoothness - 9.5/10 Horsepower - 7/10 Fuel Economy - 3/10 It's been an overall fun car to get around in. It's easy to get in and out of, smooth on bumpy roads, and it is quiet. The fact that only 2022 models and newer offer remote start and iDrive recorder is a big disappointment. But I think my biggest disappointment would be the fuel economy. As I had the B-58 in the past and averaged out 11.5L/100km and in this X3 am averaging 13.5/100km which was worse than my pick up truck. I might not keep this car for long-term just because of how poor the fuel economy is.

They reached out right away after my online inquiry into the '17 Lexus NX. Unfortunately there was no delivery service and this would be costly from Ft. Meyers to Las Cruces, NM. Nonetheless the rep was very forthright with the car info and felt no hard selling on their end. Always appreciated when your not there in person to make personal contact.

I have had three BMWs, all with great reliability and high satisfaction, but this is my first BMW SUV. After 5 weeks of ownership, my 2024 X3 is on its way to becoming my all-time favorite. The handling is great, the safety features superb, and the comfort and luxury appearance have surpassed my expectations. We are so happy with this car that my husband is talking about getting one for himself, and he is an Audi and LandRover fan. BMW, thank you for your continued dedication to quality and reliability.

I cannot believe that BMW put a 4 cylinder with turbo in an X3. It is the single problem I have with my car. otherwise it is perfect. The 6 cylinder in my 2005 was Awesome!!!!! BMW stands for Performance, GIVE IT.

All AutoNation are not the same. I been buying high end cars all of my life including Porsche, Mercedes, BMW. I sold my Audi and needed a car so i went to AutoNation, The car I found was at AutoNation MB Orlando. It was a one owner MB S550 27K miles all service records. I called the MB Dealer to see if the car was available spoke to Brian Alburtus to ask about the condition of the car because it was not certified. I asked him if he could left me know the condition of the car {scratches dents curb rash ect}. His response was" of course it will have (scratches minor dents and curb rash we price it so we don't have to deal with it". This was so odd it insulted me. I called back felt a message for GM no return call. I called THIRD time spoke to used car Manager Herb he went to look at car said it was clean. . I then contact AutoNation Ft Myers to see if they could move the car down to FT Myers. Here the complete opposite experience I spoke to Hunter he said he Spoke to GM Tony and the decided to move the car into there inventory i put down a 1000 deposit. "come and see if you like it" I did come and see and bought the car. Talk about a complete different experience they were concerned about me and my needs. When the day came to pick up the car, I felt right at home all the nervous tension that come from talking to AutoNation MB Orlando was gone. On August 03, 2025 I submitted an email inquiry to Volvo Cars Fort Myers as to the availability of a 2025 XC40 with 5912 miles listed for sale. This vehicle has has taken my wife and me cross-country, as well as several other long distance trips, with a sum total of only one flat tire and no other mechanical, nor electrical issues at all! Any repairs have been moderate and frankly expected given the high number of miles (150,000 so far) on it. I expect to keep it for another year and a half.

I have owned the original X3 and followed up with this model. The second generation is certainly a few steps above as far as comfort, style and driving performance. 2012 is the last year the 28i is powered by the 3.0L inline 6. Acceleration is great after getting the software update. Prior to it, I had the aggravating slow response met with a rush of acceleration. The software update has smoothed out the throttle greatly. The ride is super comfortable for day to day as well as trips. I have taken this car on long trips a few times this year and it is great on gas, very comfortable seats and great visibility. It is easy to park and has a tight turning circle. The handling feels like the 3 series sedan! Going up and down hills and mountainsides feels secure. Feature wise, I fully recommend the backup camera and parking sensors as well as the heated seats/steering wheel. Cargo space is adequate for this class and three average sized adults can fit in the backseat comfortably. I will say that BMW has this peculiar way of stripping the cars down in the past 10 years and labeling it as "customization." You notice the small things such as no puddle lights on my particular car, as well as having to get packages for an improved interior/exterior. Another example is if you do not get the Navigation, you do not get the nicely done, upscale graphics on the speedometer area. You have to add leather, a sunroof, heated seats, etc. My older BMW's had a lot of these more common features standard. If you buy this car used, be sure to pay attention to the features and how it was optioned. Overall, the car has been very reliable and a joy to drive!
