New and used 2026 BMW X5 SUVs for sale near Glenn Heights, TX

The car drives beautifully but maintenance/repair costs are staggering. I had 5 years of car payments of ~$9000 a year. During these first 5 years I only did oil changes and tires (whenever I hit one of the pot holes on I-97). I finished paying of the car loan two years ago. Since then I have had to replace/repair parts for about $12,000. Last time I was in I was told I need to replace the entire headlight assembly including the control module which was burnt because the LED had shorted. I was quoted about $6,700.00 to replace both headlight assemblies. If I do this I will have spent almost $19,000.00 in repairs on a 2019 BMW in less than two years. Again, it drives beautifully and the dealership service is great. But I am not exaggerating when I say it has been a huge disappointment when it comes to the cost of ownership. It is a money pit.

Most professional car buying experience in my fifty years of working with dealerships. They actually agreed to a trade in value upfront before requiring me to drive four hours and possibly waste an entire day. They honored their word and I was on the road with my BMW within 45 minutes. After four BMW's over 25 years at Santa Monica BMW, I think I am a fine representative to write. a review on them. I never purchased a vehicle from them, always somewhere else. However, always serviced my car there... 1) a 2012 328i hardtop convertible, 2) a 2014 328 Sportwagon, 3) a 2012 328i 6 cyclinder sportwagon, and 4) a 2019 X3 S30i. My favorite of the bunch was the engine of the X3, the sport suspension of the 2014 sportwagion, and the best torque was the 6-cyclider 2012 Sportwagon. Overall favorite is the newest X3... what a car. After all these years, I only had one issue..I was promised a car detail if I did a review of the service rep's work before my car was done, and after when I brought it up, he acted like he didn't know what I was talking about... Lesson: GET IT IN WRITING, ALWAYS! Just because they"recommend" something you don't need to do it. Remember that. Overall, it is a great delealership in my eyes. I would go here vs.Beverly Hills BMW any day!
