I've been a BMW fan for many years, and this 428i has not disappointed. It drives and handles just as it should, and the 4-cylinder turbocharged engine is excellent. The seatbelt 'presenters' do not work well, and the door pull handles melt in the Florida heat; other than those two little annoyances, this is an exceptional automobile.

I have never bought a car so easy as I did here. The process was quick and painless just the way I like it. The finance part for the car took like a 10 minute process. The no haggle price is the price and there's no back office person dictating the sales rep to get more money more money on the sale. It's all done at the desk you sit at drone start to finish, just you and the sales rep. I rolled out in my new car in a half hour total.. Loved it(and car is awesome too)

This 5 stars in for one employee in particular. Tim Gardner in the service dept. My little story... I had recently purchased my vehicle on April 1 & had to return it on April 4th due to the speakers, window and a little idle. It was now 4/16/2018 and my car was still not finished because the speakers were missing a part that need to come from Korea, they told me my car would be finished no later than Monday and that was a promise...So long story short everyone I spoke with said they would call me back and help me figure this out and no one did, they called with the same info about waiting for a part but no new news. Thankfully I called in 4/17/18 to check on my vehicle on when the part will be in and Tim (which was my first time speaking with i'm through these couple of weeks.) and he said the part was scheduled to arrive on 4/24/18 I was furious. Here I am driving loaner cars and not even able to enjoy my new car for a whole month. He listened to me and quickly went into action and said I am going to help you, we are going to fix this. Literally in 2 hours he called back said that they can get my car to a certain place and they can do it if I agree and also offered me a couple of other things and said I will get your car to you by today or tomorrow after he explained this to a manager. All in two hours! and I couldn't get a straight answer for two weeks! Tim called me when it left car max and when it came back and tested the stereo for me himself! He completely turned my whole experience back to a positive one again and now I am truly happy he went above and beyond and keep his word! He was very kind and put actions to his words! He is definitely the highlight of my week! now I can drive my new car thanks to TIM Gardner.! Thank you TIM! You don't know how happy we are!

A new owner of a 2019 BMW X4 M40i and loving it so far. Very sharp inside and out with a lot of punch. The vehicle handles great and has a lot of space inside. It sounds imposing. I’d say the downside is the rear blind spots and missing space over an X3 (mine has non run flats and the storage space under the rear storage is taken by a donut tire). But once you lower the rear seat headrests and get used to it, the blind spot isn’t troublesome. At the end of the day the X3 is a great SUV (I had one) but the X4 is much sportier, if that’s your thing. I just wish the M40i had more M trademarks, such as M sports steering wheel and M branding on the front seats as my recent 440i M sport edition did. But for sports + some utility, I recommend the X4.

I had my oil changed at the Beaverton, OR location on 09/20/19. As I arrived, Adam was waiting for me, walked up to my car and greeted me with a positive smile. Also, Adam was very attentive and answered my question of when my next oil change is due, scheduled my future oil change right away. I respect Adam's customer service.

If you want an SUV that is not bulky and still have the feel of driving a sedan, this is the vehicle for you. It is very comfortable on road trips, better than the X1 or X3 when it comes to how comfortable the seat is for the driver. I test drove other X models and the seats were not as comfortable and they felt bulky and more like a truck than a car on the road. This is definitely a crossover with all of the luxuries of a sedan in an suv.

When I drive it out there every oe looks at it as if t is the m4 running around a real headd turner thanksto BMW. eASY TO CUSTOPISE IT TOO. I recently moved from Nebraska to Oregon and had a recall notice for Service. I called Genesis of Portland to schedule my appointment, and was very pleased how they were able to accommodate my service. I was able to schedule my appointment with less than a weeks notice. When I arrived to my appointment Michael was so knowledgeable & kind. The service department was faster than expected & even had a color match touch up paint pen for door dings & scratches in stock! #impressed

We worked with Paul Kim on buying our first Porsche, a 2013 Cayenne. Paul's service and follow through was excellent and because of his great service and the wonderful experience at the dealership we made the decision to have Paul help us by my wife a 2023 Porsche Macan. I could not be more happy with this vehicle. It is amazingly quiet and comfortable, but still fun to drive. It has tons of space and the interior is impeccable. The technology is top-notch and intuitive. This one is the turbo I6 and is faster than it feels (so smooth and quiet), but lacks the “hold your breath” acceleration of the V8.

My experience with CarMax was amazing! I bought my car in July 2020 and I love my car so so much!! I just have to say that Michael at the Beaverton location went above and beyond and was so friendly and relaxed! I felt like I was doing business with a friend! I have told so many people about going here and when it's time to trade in my car I will DEFINITELY be coming back here! Only 2000 miles of which 500 is highway. First positive impressions are: extraordinary quiet, impressive acceleration, above average ride and comfort. Great front and side vision. Very comfortable seats. Lots of interior room. Negatives are: incredibly complex systems to do simple things, exterior styling is an "acquired taste", rear vision is marginal. Odd door handles inside and outside. It is still too early to make a definitive assessment of this vehicle. Other than an intermittent annoying creak in the passenger window area that is hard to replicate at the dealership, the build quality seems very good. This is not a big Lexus or Mercedes sedan, but rather a very good SAV. Range is 300+ with the 21" wheels. Charging is easy and relatively fast with a good DC charger. True 11KwH on 48 amp home charger. Driver assistance package works well. Steering is a little light but no issues with the shape of the wheel. There will be some adjustment to this type of vehicle, but it has been easier than I anticipated. Registering it as an EV, leased out of state, was a frustrating experience and the extra fees for EV licensing are ridiculous.

April, very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable with purchase of our used Honda. Within a day or so discovered faulty VTC Actuator. We are from out of state and had to remain in area for repairs during the worst of the wildfires. But the amazing service manager Celine ( who was also covering jobs for absent co- workers) seemed to be able to make magic happen!!!! Within 30 minutes determined it was a repair that had to done at a local Honda dealer, arranged a ride to our RV for us, had our car taken to the Honda dealer. Knowing we could leave town and the awful smoke when the car was fixed she said she'd try her best to get our car back to us the next day which was a sat.( and her day off). Gave us her personal cell no. and set up in computer the details for our return ride to Carmax. Sat. was moving on but one call to Carmax for an update, they saw Celine had arranged everything for us to get our car on Sat. and BAM, magic happened!! Had our car within an hour, repairs completed, and we headed home to Florida. Yes, Carmax was great with fulfilling their warranty policy but it was Celine who put the efficient, professional, friendly face to implementing it. Thank-you Celine for being great at what you do!

2020 X1 w/sport seats and convenience package, purchased in 2023. Positive notes: It's a true BMW: sure-footed, agile, and no shortage of power when needed. It feels remarkably glued to the road despite its small size. Handles as well as my former 3 series and is just as fun to drive. Storage space is good. Ergonomics are good once you figure out all the technology. Negatives: Ride is a bit bumpy, even for a sporty car, which is apparently caused by the run-flat tires. If I was buying new, I'd get standard tires and a real spare, which fits in the storage space in the back. Sensatec seats are hot. In retrospect, I'd hold out for leather. Overall, I recommend this car if you're looking for something small, practical, full-featured and sporty.

My 2011 328i has just reached 223k miles. No timing chain replacement. Only oil changes and coolant flushes. Obviously break pads and rotors. It’s been amazing. Fun to drive although I get 22mpg average. As Long as you don’t touch it and don’t drive it like you stole it, you can count on it.

Smallest SUV in the range and it still drives confidently. Plenty of power and torque from the turbo 4-cylinder. A very refined ride. Interior appointments remind you that you’ve bought a quality car.

Reliable and high performance BMW x1 with excellent value for the money. It’s exactly the same as an x3, but smaller cargo space. Easily fits 2 rear passengers.

I own a bmw 2011 550i Xdrive M sport package with M Steering wheel, M sport suspension ETc and honestly one of the best car I have ever own and still own. Reliability has been decent on my end but no major issues thankfully. If you well maintain this car like I have and do oil changes around 4.5k you can make this engine last past 200ks miles.
