This is my 2nd BMW after keeping my previous 528 for over a dozen years ! Still going strong but had to change. After test driving a few, came back to BMW... Its like Apple, once you get an iPhone, it is hard to switch ! Bought a CPO, which gives us more time. Nice car. Good power. Have to constantly check the speedometer to ensure we stay within limits ! So silent and smooth... Love it !

STAR AUTO MALL: Worst car dealer EVER! I bought a 2017 BMW X3. They never checked the car! I had problems immediately! I called, emailed & texted... Star Auto Mall would NOT return my calls, texts or emails! I went to BMW dealer, and they found lots of issues! Wires hanging down, tires rubbing, etc. It cost me $480 to fix it! I billed Star Auto Mall, and it looks like they're just chucking me the finger!! AVOID these incompetent thieves! Great navigation system, roomy interior, stylish, easy to drive, large trunk space. The memory seat adjustment is a plus. Also has a great sound system.

2020 X1 w/sport seats and convenience package, purchased in 2023. Positive notes: It's a true BMW: sure-footed, agile, and no shortage of power when needed. It feels remarkably glued to the road despite its small size. Handles as well as my former 3 series and is just as fun to drive. Storage space is good. Ergonomics are good once you figure out all the technology. Negatives: Ride is a bit bumpy, even for a sporty car, which is apparently caused by the run-flat tires. If I was buying new, I'd get standard tires and a real spare, which fits in the storage space in the back. Sensatec seats are hot. In retrospect, I'd hold out for leather. Overall, I recommend this car if you're looking for something small, practical, full-featured and sporty.

109,000 miles on my 2019 BMW 530e and it drives like the day I bought it. Original brakes, 2 sets of new performance tires since purchased new. Keep it services precisely to timeliness at the dealership, where service department provides a loaner. Favorite car of 13 lifetime purchases (which is why we still have it).

Have had 5 3 series`, and I wont drive anything else, starting with a `78 323. Love the whole layout, including the battery...surprising power for a 4 cylinder. My last was an inline 6, and this is far quicker. I`m 6 ft tall, and the back seat is , well, a back seat. You have as much legroom as the front seaters allow, but even with the front seats pulled a few inches forward, there is still ample room in front (and back). Only drawback? The shift into second can be a little abrupt, that`s about it. Thx.

Absolutely love my 2019 530e. Drove a 5.7 hemi Chrysler 300 prior but I’ve owned a 2014 bmw 328i. The turbo 4 engine on this sedan is buttery, not as fast as the 6 but this car shines in the twistys and turns. She handles on rails. Gas to hybrid motor transition is seamless. I get 38mpg usually because my commute is 68 miles so everyday I get about 20-25 electric range. (Must turn off AC/Heat otherwise it dips to 18). The key to extending electric mileage is to know when to use the gas motor, especially uphills. Otherwise you will sap your range. My only complaints is the interior and trunk are a little cramped compared to my old 300. The value also dropped a lot, I bought one year ago for 32k (40k after taxes and bumper to bumper warrranry). with 30k miles and now it’s got 60k miles and now only worth 25k so I have zero equity if I want to trade it in. Otherwise zero problems only been in shop for oil changes. I almost need to go buy a bucket commuter so I can keep miles off the 530 but she is just so much nicer to drive especially in the cities where she just glides with the electric motor. I’ve even driven off road ok gravel and she has great comfy suspension that absorbs a lot of bumps.

BMW Long Beach is excellent and they give the highest level of service. I have purchased a new and used vehicle here. Highly recommend going to them if you are looking at purchasing a car.

I owned a bmw 530I 2005 and a 750i 2006, both new cars. This one is by far the best. Plenty of power, very spacious, excellent interior finish ( the off white merino is splendid). The car runs perfect after 62k miles, no issue, everything is OK. I enjoy each time when I drive it, looks like new after five years.

Looking for a Tesla and they had a model 3, only 3 months old. Freddy was very helpful from the beginning to the end. He made sure we were taken care of during the financial process, too. We walked into SM BMW only looking to test drive the new 228i. Knowing that we wanted a manual transmission, we knew we'd have to order the car. We planned to play a few dealerships against one another to get the best deal. After talking for a few minutes about what we specifically were looking for, our rep informed us they had a brand new 328i that fit the bill. We looked at it, and even though it wasn't exactly what we were looking for, it was exactly what we really wanted! We made out like bandits on the deal, as BMW's with manual transmissions aren't exactly what the average buying is looking for, but it was EXACTLY what we wanted. The car is loaded up with all the options, and 6 months in we couldn't be happier with it. First service was easy to schedule, they provided a loaner car that was comparable to our car (automatic tho) and it was ready on time. I highly recommend this dealership, Achilles, our advisor, and BMW in general. This is my 5th BMW, but first from this dealership, I'm already planning on #6, and it will be from Santa Monica BMW!

Bought a used CPO 530e. I loved it. No problems. Perfectly reliable. Getting into this car put a smile on my face. Great performance and gas mileage. Only complaints are base stereo and shorter all electric range. Small details on an overall outstanding luxury sedan.
