I found a truck at another facility, John had it tranferred and within 2 days my soon to be truck arrived - and it is a beauty. John was training Matt and they both demonstrated immense knowledge throughout the interaction and I appreciated the ease of communication (not pushy). I cannot comment on the financing portion of the transaction, but closing went just as smoothly with Hubert and his supervisor. WHile impressed with my transaction I was also impressed with the amount of time that was placed on the training of new employees, or employees transferring. While yes my truck need a repair on the fog lights, it is covered under their warranty, I am highly impressed with my experience. From walking in the front door, to having John take my picture of me and my truck with a giant yellow ribbon... every individual at Carmax truly made the buying and trading experience a wonderful experience. BMW 230i with MSport, non-runflat performance tires. Mine, a factory order, was one of the last imported into the U.S. with a manual transmission. The car is fun to drive, is a nimble handler and the engine performance is strong. The weakest link, well documented, is the electrically assisted power steering, which lacks the feedback of the older hydraulic systems. The car is a great long distance cruiser, with the cockpit a comfortable office for long drives. Also a real pleasure on winding and undulating Pennsylvania back roads. The seats are comfortable and supportive, the interior quality high.

Getting an M2 is an easy decision. The harder part is deciding between an original M2 and a newer M2 Competition. They are both great but very different cars. M2 Competition has more power, but also a lot more weight. It drives like a little M4, The original M2 is much lighter and drives like an early 30's or 40's series M3. As far as the engine, it's not a normal N55, it is a highly modied one, the best N55 ever -- runs and sounds fantastic. Contrast that with the S55 in the M2 Competition, which is the most de-tuned version of that fine engine that you can get. Bottom line -- get an original M2, ideally a 2018 with the updated electronics, lights and dash!

I recently purchased A 2018 Alpina B7 from Ray at Motor Cars Of Chicago. When I purchased the car I made it clear to Ray that I was going to be in need of the title in ASAP fashion – Ray said I’d have the title within two weeks and boy did I just like he said he fulfilled the promise he made no questions asked. Also on the way home after taking delivery, I had a very minor problem that turned out to be a bad battery. Ray was unaware of when we took delivery of the car – Ray didn’t hesitate he reimbursed me for the batteries I had to have installed at the BMW dealer by the BMW dealer. He said the car was flawless and he stood behind that statement. Ray is very straightforward and no xx perhaps not full of warm fuzzies for everyone but a great way to do business, especially in the luxury and highline car business. I find Ray to be honorable direct and stand up and we’ll do business with him again if I had any reservations about doing business with them before this transaction, they are all completely gone and yours should be too. Thank you, Ray for a great transaction and a great automobile.

First was 1996.1.9L.best experience seating in the trunk.currently another z3.2.8.almost 200k mikes.runs like new.doesnt burn one drop of oil.plenty of power.no cry baby bout valve cover or piwer steering leak.nor oil filter housing leak.car is trouble free.and its not a miata.

BMW 440i xDrive Coupe: I have owned several BMW's over the years. During my 4 years of ownership, this was the finest of them all! BMW underrates their engines, and this 440i was noticeably stronger than my previous 335i and almost no turbo lag. The transmission is flawless. The xDrive 440i is deceptively quick. Everything worked as it should, and I never had any issues. The ride is firm but not harsh, I had the adaptive suspension and when activated, it was like driving a go cart. The electronic steering was not as engaged as previous model hydraulic steering yet the low-speed steering in parking lots was much easier to maneuver, I will take the tradeoff. This vehicle has minimal sway in the corners and will go where you point it. Sometimes you don't realize how good this vehicle is till you drive a lesser vehicle (as when renting). The leather wrapped steering wheel was perfect feel and the heated steering wheel was never too hot. The seats are infinitely adjustable and supportive. The BOSE radio is very good for an OEM and has many optional tuning choices available. The HUD (Heads Up Display) is fabulous! The power, smoothness and deceptively quiet interior even at excessive speeds, this vehicle maintains its composure. This vehicle breeds confidence making it all too easy to drive fast, very fast. The back seats fold down, and I was able to put my mountain bike in the truck (with front wheel removed) so this has a large storage area. This vehicle is just the right size, I personally like the coupe better than the sedan with its sloped aerodynamic rear deck. I would highly recommend this vehicle for anyone seeking a sport coupe, this hits all the right buttons, well done BMW!

2002 BMW Z3 Coupe (clown shoe) owner. Could be happier with my car. It’s a non-M model (only bmw that factory made more M than non-M models). I’ve got 188k miles on the dial. Truly a blast to drive. It’s quick and light, handles great and different than most cars on the road. People ask me what it is all the time. The coupe has been reliable and no major issues, just maintenance. I’ve owned it 4 years, mainly my daily driver. I’ve put about 40k miles on it. Great for short trips and canyon runs. Lots of room for groceries, I’m 6 ft tall and it’s a comfortable fit.
