2016 BMW 228i xdrive convertible. The best part: reliability. We are approaching 94k miles and we've had no issues with this car. It feels solid, which is remarkable for a convertible. Everything works just as it should with just routine maintenance. I have only three complaints: the sport seats are my number one complaint. The seat has great lumbar support and is supportive, but the side bolsters on the seat cushion are rock hard and hurt my hips. I have to use a pad to raise myself up a little to ease the pain. The 2nd complaint, and this is worth noting, in comfort mode the throttle can be slow to react. This is so bad it got me rear ended once because the car simply did nothing for several seconds when I pressed the pedal down. Sport mode cures this. Lastly, it requires premium gas. Ford and others get similar horsepower results with regular gas, so I think BMW should be able to also.

I was referred to Edmund from Deals on Wheels a few months ago. Our family has or had at one time or another 7 Subaru’s in the last several years and always look for someone that understands the Outback since they are excellent cars however need service as they age. I asked a salvage yard in Wind Gap where to have my Subaru serviced even though I live about 20 miles away. In my experience Edmund is one of the most competent, honest and reliable mechanics I have ever dealt with. I have already sent customers to him, and never had a negative comment made to me. That said, cars are mechanical and they have problems. Because Edmund will attempt the most affordable repair possible there will be times when that repair uncovers other problems. The real test for me is: then what? It has been my experience that this family owned business stands behind their work. After I purchased my 2006 Outback a few problems needed attention and Edmund stood behind his warranty and most importantly his word that if there were problems he would work with me, which he did. I am very satisfied with this father and son team; they have a strong work ethic and are very honest men! This business gets my absolute unqualified "yes" vote for honesty, competency, and integrity.

I've bought this 2008 328xi and now has around 200k millage on it and stills driving amazing, good driving feeling, nice stylish and the engine stills showing good power, it has been needing some love, like regular maintenance but not major or really expensive problems or repairs at the end of the day.

I have heard some horror stories about getting your car serviced at the dealer. I must admit Andrew made my experience much better than expected, I anticipated to pay much more than I did but Andrew made me feel at ease. I felt that he was there to make this process as easy as possible for me he was able to get me in a loaner vehicle when they were short on loaner vehicles! I had some extensive damage done to my vehicle and I know it was not going to be cheap, he worked with me to make sure that the vehicle will be fixed right and I must admit the vehicle drives much better! and I am satisfied, Andrew kept me updated through the process even when I saw him working he looked so busy his customer service never lacked! Once again Andrew thanks so much and when it's time to get into another vehicle I will definitely choose BRIDGEWATER BMW! What I do notice is if you conduct the proper maintenance on these wonderful machines they will run great for a long time! Bought my 128i with 50,000 miles 3 years ago and it has needed very little attention. Basic maintenance and not any major problems. Had a z3 and this is every bit as fun to drive. For a 13 year old vehicle I get many people commenting on the looks and they think it is much newer. I think BMW is going to regret doing away with the inline 6 engine eventually. Super reliable engine that is only used in their upper end vehicles and the high performance M models now days. The turbocharger engines are impressive performing but you just don't get the reliability of them that are non turbo. Unless you are looking for more horsepower don't go turbocharger. They are expensive to maintain and turbos wear out premature opposed to non turbo engines. The 128i is the perfect amount of horsepower to size and weight for the majority of people. It is a shame that it was discontinued. If you find a well maintained one you can't go wrong. Ask any mechanic about turbo engine reliability and they will side with any car without a turbo!!

I traded in a 2020 bmw m2 competition for a 2020 bmw CS. Both were bought new. The M2 Competition was an amazing little car but the CS takes it to another level. The adaptive suspension gives it a more compliant ride than the Competition. The acceleration is ferocious ( 0-60 in 3.8 seconds) and the handling is intuitive and precise but predictable. The seats are extremely comfortable even for a large guy like me ( 6’4” and 225 pounds). The stereo is cranking and the heated seats are just perfect. Very little in the way of other toys. No sunroof or electronic gimmicks to distract from the driving experience. Evo gave it car of the year in 2020 beating out Ferraris Lamborghinis Porsches Mclarens and rightly so. Resale value keeps climbing:)

Balanced Handling, good power, one of the best coupes on the market to date. Wanted to get BMWs best before they were gone for good.

I'd been driving 328i's for over 10 years but always wanted an M3.  I only wanted an E92/S-65 version and took my time to find the right one.  I found it two years ago (in 2018) at a dealership 900 miles away from where I live:  It was a 2013 with only 27,800 miles on it.  I flew down to check it out.  It was Space Grey and had the competition package and cold weather package.  Another interesting feature I discovered when I got there, was that it also had the Dinan exhaust system as well.  The dealer never mentioned that and the web pictures never showed it.  He had no idea of the added value.  The car was spotless and I was impressed. The test drive sealed the deal.  What a machine. I felt I stole it for $34,000.  It has the 7 speed dual clutch tranny.  I've always driven sticks, and my previous 328's were all sticks, but at 61 years of age, and with the idiot drivers in NC, I actually preferred a slushbox at this point.  The dual clutch tranny is outstanding.  The shifts are tighter than anything I could ever do with the manual, but if I want to go into sport mode, I can do it grabbing the console shifter or by tapping the paddles.   While the M3 is more known for its speed, it is also incredibly comfortable to drive.  The leather seats are well cushioned and just hug you from the side.  I have a bad back, and driving this home from Miami to NC straight through, I had no additional pain at all by the end of the trip.  The interior trim is fairly simple  but well appointed.  Mine has the wood grained dash, and also has the rear window power sun screen.  Also has the recessed GPS and the premium sound system.  This car is the last of a rare breed - a naturally aspirated V-8 with a sound that is simply glorious.  It has three tones: a low smooth rumble at idle, a growl with normal acceleration, and an absolute roar if you jump on it.  According to my 21 year old son (who owns my previous 328i coupe), I drive it too gently, though he's  not always with me.  :-)  I let him drive it a couple of times and his face lit up as he put it through its paces in sport mode.  I probably do drive it too easy most of the time.  I don't track it, but I've certainly had some fun with it.  It is nice to know I have the power there when I want it, especially on the interstate.  Going into "M" mode is a real treat.  The car just takes off like a rocket and it pins you to the rear of the seat.  It's handling is firm, but not uncomfortable, and it takes corners with ease. Beyond its power and handling, this is simply a beautiful car with incredible lines, my favorite being the flared rocker panels.  I originally figured I'd keep it for a couple of years until I "got it out of my system".  I still haven't, and can't imagine I ever will.  I still look forward to driving this every day.  The newer M3's are admittedly even faster, but they sound like crap.  I rarely even listen to music in mine.  The sound of the S-65 engine as it goes through its paces is like a symphony to me. It now has 55,000 miles on it, and those are predominately interstate and back road miles to and from work.  I'm getting ready to retire, so the yearly mileage will be even less now.  I don't plan to sell it.  It's just too much fun to drive.   I recommend this car wholeheartedly.  As the last of the naturally aspirated M cars, is destined to be a classic and I believe it will hold its value very well.

I went to Roxbury with one car in mind. I ended up leaving with a better car and a better deal! The service here was impeccable. I have a sunset orange metallic convertible with cognac interior and a black top. Very sporty. Get a lot of compliments. Zippy. Love the combination as I ordered it from the factory. A little tight on the inside but manageable.

I was driving by this dealership and was happy to find it here on Cars.com too and now have a hub to their inventory on my favorite Car site! I am an online car shopping junkie of a sort and when I do decide to move on my next Used vehicle I will check Dover Used Car Center first because when I walked in I was treated as a person and not a target! I have had convertibles since 1975. 68 Camaro, 76 Jeep CJ5, 92 Chrysler LeBaron GTS, 96 BMW 328iC, 06 Pontiac Solstice and now the 12 BMW 128i. Retired in 2017 and had to feed the desire for another convertible in 2019 and the 128i ticked all the boxes for my current desires. Fit and reliability. At 6'1" I don't fit into a MX5, so that's the 1st two check offs. RWD, so no Audi, A4 FWD in my price range. Six cylinder preferably straight 6 for perfect engine balance. Nissan 350/370 are ugly chops. Then the exotics(shut up Porsche boys) were too expensive for repairs. I learned "basic" repairs on the E36. I have done many easy maintenance jobs in my garage that allows me to have this Touring car. As a touring car having a back seat is great for a cooler, backpack, and doggy space. With the trunk space (2X) of MX5 this makes a great touring car for weeks on the road. 230hp for a car this small is great for ripping through the Rockies and the Twisted Sisters outside of Fredericksburg of Texas.

Andrew Beifus is fantastic! I was a first time car buyer and he was so kind, generous with his time, carefully walked me through all the features of the car I was interested in, had the car prepped for me to drive, inclusive of having it say my name on the dashboard screen to welcome me when I got in the car. Andrew was available through each step of my car search and was patient with all my questions. He is a seasoned and experienced professional who understands the meaning of the client experience and made me feel like I was his priority and I came first and was there to fully support me in a momentous life occasion. I did not however enjoy my experience with the other individuals I interacted with. I found Andrew's colleagues to be condescending, demeaning and full of gender, race and age bias. In particular the finance manager was the most unpleasant individual to interact with. He openly tried to demean Andrew in front of his clients, then proceeded to try and educate me on what to do with my money (because I didn't want to finance my car and buy in cash) and I found that when interacting with me, he spoke/looked at my white female friend when talking vs looking at me when speaking, an Asian female who was actually buying the car. He then told me buying a car outright is the dumbest thing I could do. The entire time he explained the packages I should consider, I was so put off by his tone and definitely felt like there was not a single word I could trust coming out of his mouth. When I then asked when I would get my plates (I bought in NJ and live in NY), he then explained that the plates would come to the dealer and that I could come to the dealer to pick them up or they could ship to me. He suggested I come to the dealer bc as a girl with nails, I probably wouldn't know how to put the plates on myself (well I did put the plates on myself with no problem despite being a girl with nails). There was another manager who I believe was a general manager and was on Andrew to speed things along with me, when I explained that Andrew was providing me the service level I wanted, he backed off and adjusted his tone. I also did share to this manager that I did not appreciate the finance manager telling me what to do with my money, and he did agree that this was not appropriate. After I bought my car, my iphone noticed that there was an air tag in my car and when I called the dealer, this general manager was very responsive and did his best to calm my nerves that there was an unknown air tag tracking me. (I went to the BMW of Brooklyn service shop and they were so great in helping me find the air tag). Overall, Andrew was exactly the sales professional I needed in my car buying experience. I did not enjoy any other element of my experience at this dealer. And I do wonder if I was not given any financial breaks or scare tactic sold into things because they felt like they could take advantage of me as a first-time diverse female buyer. Given this was my first experience buying a used car, I can't say if this was an above or under par experience. But I can confidently say, Andrew is a pro and the finance manager needs bias training and held accountable for his words and behavior.
