This 4000 lb beast maneuvers like a sports car. As someone who's always been passionate about cars, I leaned towards vehicles like the 3 series coupe or Audi A5. However, when the need for family space arose, SUVs felt dull. Then I got behind the wheel of the X5. It's a revelation—you truly don't have to compromise. There's ample space, exceptional handling, and a range of engines from powerful to downright exhilarating (like the X5M).

They were great but, unfortunately, the car did not have all the options I was looking for.

Have this car for 3 years and it’s been nothing but pleasure. Subtle looking on the outside, cruising beast on the inside. Drove other BMWs and not have been as boss feeling car as this one.

This was my first car and i definitely recommend. 1.It is super cute 2.it is small and easily maneuverable and fear of hitting something is low 3. it goes really fast so its easy to get up to right speed quickly. It brakes i would say are a little different at first but once you experiment you get the jist and they are actually very good. Overall I would recommend for the price and its an easy car to operate and goes fast.

2016 BMW 228i xdrive convertible. The best part: reliability. We are approaching 94k miles and we've had no issues with this car. It feels solid, which is remarkable for a convertible. Everything works just as it should with just routine maintenance. I have only three complaints: the sport seats are my number one complaint. The seat has great lumbar support and is supportive, but the side bolsters on the seat cushion are rock hard and hurt my hips. I have to use a pad to raise myself up a little to ease the pain. The 2nd complaint, and this is worth noting, in comfort mode the throttle can be slow to react. This is so bad it got me rear ended once because the car simply did nothing for several seconds when I pressed the pedal down. Sport mode cures this. Lastly, it requires premium gas. Ford and others get similar horsepower results with regular gas, so I think BMW should be able to also.

I traded a 2012 BMW X6M for my (now) 2015 M235i. The X6M was a great car...but no longer needed the extra room or power that it had. The M235i also has great features and plenty fast for me...plus I wanted another convertible. This is my 3rd Beemer...and all have been excellent cars.

We went by to look at one car but it was out for repairs. Our second choice was available so we took it for a test drive. I love everything about this car except for the front lower bumper, I wasn’t a big fan of so I updated it with the M Sport series style, I also Installed aftermarket 20x10 TSW Watkins wheels wrapped w/ Lionhart 255-35z-r20 tires, Tinted Windows,BMW emblem carbon fiber exhaust tips with aftermarket Bora exhaust (Not Loud), Cold Air intake and Followed by a DINAN Performance Tune kit. Lots of other extras as well, like BMW Door projector lights, Aftermarket Speaker System etc…. In my opinion, I feel that I built a car into something that I always wanted. It’s Very Fast, Reliable, Has Style, Comfortable, and I didn’t have to break the bank while doing it….
