I’ve owned two 2015 X5D’s - daily driven for 7 years for a combined 173,000 miles (sales job), I averaged 29MPG on each tank in mixed driving (38+mpg on hwy using renewable diesel in CA), and it’s been so much more reliable than any gas car I’ve owned… The only car that compares in reliability is two BMW 328 diesels I’ve owned - I’m not going back to gas cars. I may consider Cayenne diesel as the only other alternative daily driver, otherwise I’ll stay with X5 diesels.

This vehicle has has taken my wife and me cross-country, as well as several other long distance trips, with a sum total of only one flat tire and no other mechanical, nor electrical issues at all! Any repairs have been moderate and frankly expected given the high number of miles (150,000 so far) on it. I expect to keep it for another year and a half.

Sam worked with me, I’m north of Detroit, Michigan and had a lot of questions! He went out of his way to take videos and pictures of the vehicle I was interested in. He spent 2 weeks answering all of my questions and being very professional and patient with me! When I finally got there and took it for a test drive I was amazed at how clean the vehicle was and how quickly we were taken care of - it was a seamless process and everyone was very friendly and accommodating! I had this car for several years. In that time, it was a great car. The only downside to the car was the fact that it was a BMW, so I couldn't take it to any old mechanic shop to get the oil changed. The car has great pickup and breaking, and is great for long distance rides. It's a smaller SUV, but there's still plenty of room. And when I got into an accident, it functioned correctly and kept me and other safe. The airbags deployed like they were supposed to. The only reason I ever got rid of this car was because it was totaled.

Recently purchased 2013 bmw 528i Xdrive - Alpine white over cinnamon brown beautiful spec. 80k miles - 6 months later no problems. Equipped with cold weather package - and 360 camera. Amazing technology for the year. The illuminated door handles at night really provide a luxury feel before entering the comfortable interior. Extremely smooth drive but then you put it in Sport mode and everything changes - faster throttle response. Tighter steering, propelling you forward leaving everyone in your rear view. The sound system although not specified as Harman/Kardon still is loud enough for me to not care. Really loud and stock Bluetooth connectivity is great. Engine has light rattle sound on start up but it’s a common noise for that base engine and gets quieter when engine warms up. First bmw and easily stands out as one of my favorite cars owned to date.

Was very worried that it will take a lot of Gas but it has a ECO Mode that give me sometimes 28 to 32 MPG on Highway. It's not a Hybrid but it behaves like a Hybrid as it stops and saves Gas when you Brakes for more than 5 seconds. Lots of space inside, very safe, and Child friendly. It's a 5 series Car uses the platform from from 7 Series. Tires cost $350 each and Car shows notification when Serivice is needed not only just Oil Change but also Brakes, Tires, and lot more. Don't buy it wihtout warranty since it's loaded with Programs.

I purchased a 2008 CL 550 that I absolutely love. It drives almost like it’s brand new despite being 18 years old. My salesman Chris went above and beyond with getting me in this car and even fixed the air conditioner on another vehicle I drove there to buy this car! I’ve never had that happen before. This is an update from my February 1, 2019 review. I have now owned the vehicle for nearly seven years. I’ve personally driven nearly 20,000 miles in it. The vehicle now has nearly 50,000 miles on the odometer. I purchased it certified pre-owned from a BMW dealership. I have maintained the vehicle to manufacturer specifications. I have only paid for routine maintenance. I have paid for zero repairs. My previous review is confirmed. Full disclosure, two repairs were covered under warranty by the BMW dealership when I purchased the vehicle and one other repair was performed by a different BMW dealership due to their mistake during a routine service.

So reliable and fun to drive, even in snow. I’m tall and seats are comfy, even in rear. Very versatile with good cargo space. Love the kick-to-open rear door. Mileage is around 28 mpg, it requires premium fuel. It drives a little sluggish when not in Sport mode.

Communicated with John Leno from the Schaumburg facility online. John understood my needs and responded quickly with Jeeps to review - after a bit of humming and hawing on my part, I changed my mind to trucks. I found a truck at another facility, John had it tranferred and within 2 days my soon to be truck arrived - and it is a beauty. John was training Matt and they both demonstrated immense knowledge throughout the interaction and I appreciated the ease of communication (not pushy). I cannot comment on the financing portion of the transaction, but closing went just as smoothly with Hubert and his supervisor. WHile impressed with my transaction I was also impressed with the amount of time that was placed on the training of new employees, or employees transferring. While yes my truck need a repair on the fog lights, it is covered under their warranty, I am highly impressed with my experience. From walking in the front door, to having John take my picture of me and my truck with a giant yellow ribbon... every individual at Carmax truly made the buying and trading experience a wonderful experience. I've had three 2015 X1's. Drove the wheels off one, one got stolen and on my third. Love this car! So economical and the gps is off satellite, not cell tower. Get maps ANYWHERE, for life. I only have 72k on it and will be my last vehicle.
