I cannot believe that BMW put a 4 cylinder with turbo in an X3. It is the single problem I have with my car. otherwise it is perfect. The 6 cylinder in my 2005 was Awesome!!!!! BMW stands for Performance, GIVE IT.

Very comfortable, with massaging seats plus heated and cooled seats. I’m not sure that it’s a great value because it is expensive. The adaptive cruise control and the lane keeping work very well and almost make it self-driving.

STAR AUTO MALL: Worst car dealer EVER! I bought a 2017 BMW X3. They never checked the car! I had problems immediately! I called, emailed & texted... Star Auto Mall would NOT return my calls, texts or emails! I went to BMW dealer, and they found lots of issues! Wires hanging down, tires rubbing, etc. It cost me $480 to fix it! I billed Star Auto Mall, and it looks like they're just chucking me the finger!! AVOID these incompetent thieves! I have used the 2019 BMW X3 for over a year now, as my third BMW, the other two being the 3 series sedan, with just one problem; Fuel pump failure, though due to my negligence. I now understand that the BMW cannot be operated without sufficient Fuel.

Its like Apple, once you get an iPhone, it is hard to switch ! Bought a CPO, which gives us more time. Nice car. Good power. Have to constantly check the speedometer to ensure we stay within limits ! 1. BMW has relinquished transmission service, WHY? They DO NOT make their transmissions and the builder, another German company does and has a full service recommend sheet, with miles and correct fluids, et al. Now that's a load of crap. All transmission need servicing like any part with fluid traveling through it! So when your Trany goes out, you are looking a $4000+ easy, Thanks BMW for that PLANNED OBSELENCE! 2. No dip stick and access to change your oil or the very small oil gasket, NOT THE OIL FILTER, will cost you over $1000 in labor, TO ACCESS and a $14.08 part! 3. Ridiculous depreciation the minute you drive off the lot. I can buy a 2022 X7, retailing north of $95,000 for around. $50,000 and CPO/Certified with around 35-45,000 miles. 4. Very fun to drive, quality feel, twin turbo power I like, the profile is amazing on my 2017 X5. Don't like the body style changes. 5. You pay $65,000 or more and have to pay extra, with one package to get the Harmon Kardon stereo. xxxx, for that much in the price tag I should get the Bowers and Wilkins. 6. 9.5 and 10.5 wheels and tires make it look "mean". But no rotation and you will wear out the front tires in about 25,000 miles. Run flats are harsh and do not last. So, get an "S" model and gain gas mileage, rotate and balance tires and unless you live in a cold climate, the XDrive is a waste of additional sticker shock. of money. 10. The interior colors, mine is brown leather, are nauseating, at best. Orange looking leather, white leather-are you kidding me? And, the old standby Black!

Love it. Car is comfy, quick and the wonderful B58 Twin-Scroll Turbo I6 makes all the right noises! Awesome daily driver. Period! Interior has all of the amenities you could ever ask for. Ride is luxury-oriented but also can grip & RIP through the corners, almost as well as any sports sedan out there pretty much.

The X3 m40i is the best family vehicle. Got a decent deal from CarMax on a lightly used 2019 x3 m40i. The hk sound system sounds terrible unless you figure out how to turn off the exhaust sound that comes through the speakers (leaves little bass balance left for the music), but luckily there are a few tricks (check forums). The vehicle is a blast to drive, yet can carry the whole family and luggage anywhere. I had a few e36 m3's a while back and repairs were reasonable and easy to do a lot of stuff independently, so repair costs (only needed brakes, tires and oil in the past 30k miles) on the new BMWs did come as a bit of a shock, but being proactive helps. The vehicle has been super reliable with no mechanical issues.

This vehicle is definitely super comfortable! A must buy if you have a big family. Very luxurious! The technology in this vehicle definitely makes it super safe to drive it. I give it 5 out of 5 stars 😁

This 4000 lb beast maneuvers like a sports car. As someone who's always been passionate about cars, I leaned towards vehicles like the 3 series coupe or Audi A5. However, when the need for family space arose, SUVs felt dull. Then I got behind the wheel of the X5. It's a revelation—you truly don't have to compromise. There's ample space, exceptional handling, and a range of engines from powerful to downright exhilarating (like the X5M).

And yet you still made me wait for what seems like a half an hour for you to print off the paperwork, then hand write it down on a blank sheet of paper, when the printed one was right behind you. Not a fan of this sales technique to buy “ Add on warranties”. My whole buying experience was great until it came to the financial “upsell” of the deal. For reference, I was paying cash for my 2024 BMW.

Only have been driving the car for a week, but it is clearly the best SUV I have experienced. My wife drives the Mercedes 300 - a fine car as well, but I have always preferred BMY engine performance and handling. The X3 is simply a pleasure to drive.

Our 2022 X5 was a beautiful car to us. Unfortunately it didn't work for us as my wife is handicapped and found it difficult to get in and out of - it's higher than one would expect and came to realize the seats are more inboard than other cars that are direct competitors. The 3 inch door sill was almost like a running board and contributed to her struggles. Even though we had the multi-contour seats, we found the lower cushion seat side bolsters too firm for any drive more than an hour. The seat back was fine. While driving around town and 2 lanes was great, it didn't track as well on the highway as one would expect, even after an alignment (it was off at delivery). Our old Volvos were much better in that regard. The positives include the exterior and interior design/layout, the quality, ride, handling and power. It also still has a few buttons, albeit a bit small when driving. The headlights were awesome and the gas mileage was better than expected, 21 around town and 28+ on the highway. Our situation is unique, and after 7 months we sold the car to a tall, able bodied couple.

A final note to keynote my respect…sitting in my destroyed car on Saturday because I couldn’t exit the vehicle. I called two people…one of them was Dawn Jellow and one was a family member. A Truly Pleasant and Honest Car-Buying Experience I was feeling really upset this morning because of a dealership that kept changing the price, but then I happened to find a car that caught my eye on a website. Then I made an appointment at Merchants Auto for a test drive. At first, the place looked a bit quiet, and I wasn’t sure what to expect. But from the moment I walked in, I was impressed by how friendly, professional, and proactive everyone was. There was about a $3,000 difference between the price I saw online and the one initially quoted at the dealership. I mentioned this and also showed them an offer I had received from another dealership the day before. I told them that if they could match that deal, I’d sign right away. They worked hard for nearly an hour — checking different options, running numbers — and finally made it happen. I signed the paperwork and made the down payment on the spot. Even better, the finance rate they offered was about half of what another Boston-area dealership had quoted me, which helped offset that $3,000 difference. What impressed me most was that the price we agreed on during negotiation was exactly the same when it came time to sign the papers — no hidden fees, no surprises. It was a bit of a drive to get there, but it was absolutely worth it. I’m genuinely happy with my purchase and the entire experience. Highly recommended — I’ll definitely come back here when it’s time to replace my wife’s car!

There is no other car for me, this is my fourth. I just feel safe inside my car. I cannot drive another make at this point. However, they have become too expensive to purchase.
