I’ve owned two 2015 X5D’s - daily driven for 7 years for a combined 173,000 miles (sales job), I averaged 29MPG on each tank in mixed driving (38+mpg on hwy using renewable diesel in CA), and it’s been so much more reliable than any gas car I’ve owned… The only car that compares in reliability is two BMW 328 diesels I’ve owned - I’m not going back to gas cars. I may consider Cayenne diesel as the only other alternative daily driver, otherwise I’ll stay with X5 diesels.

Have had 5 3 series`, and I wont drive anything else, starting with a `78 323. Love the whole layout, including the battery...surprising power for a 4 cylinder. My last was an inline 6, and this is far quicker. I`m 6 ft tall, and the back seat is , well, a back seat. You have as much legroom as the front seaters allow, but even with the front seats pulled a few inches forward, there is still ample room in front (and back). Only drawback? The shift into second can be a little abrupt, that`s about it. Thx.

Absolutley one of the best cars I ever owned. BMW is the power Period. Mine is styled to the max with carbon fibers and sport wheels and so on. When I drive it out there every oe looks at it as if t is the m4 running around a real headd turner thanksto BMW. eASY TO CUSTOPISE IT TOO. I got this car with 217,*** miles and it had a blown head gasket. I did the repairs myself and now I own a 735i for under 1,200 bucks not bad. In regards to repairs, this car is very simple!! Im serious, just buy a BENTLY repair manual and you will be fine. I autocross this baby in parking lots and it fairs very well, the M30 straight six has plenty of power even for the 7 series yaht. Will get you out of the way of anything on the highway and keep up with most sports cars. There are tons of performance parts for these cars as well. electronic seat is well worn and move very slow along with the mirrors. most parts can be bought aftermarket but some are through BMW which are expensive. By far the most expensive car I've ever owned, BUT deffinitly the funest car I've ever owned. I own the ultimate driving machine :)
