He did as I requested and informed me the vehicle was spotless. We negotiated the price over the phone. We drove 260 miles to pick up the vehicle. STAR AUTO MALL: Worst car dealer EVER! I bought a 2017 BMW X3. They never checked the car! I had problems immediately! I called, emailed & texted... Star Auto Mall would NOT return my calls, texts or emails! I went to BMW dealer, and they found lots of issues! Wires hanging down, tires rubbing, etc. It cost me $480 to fix it! I billed Star Auto Mall, and it looks like they're just chucking me the finger!! AVOID these incompetent thieves! I’ve owned two 2015 X5D’s - daily driven for 7 years for a combined 173,000 miles (sales job), I averaged 29MPG on each tank in mixed driving (38+mpg on hwy using renewable diesel in CA), and it’s been so much more reliable than any gas car I’ve owned… The only car that compares in reliability is two BMW 328 diesels I’ve owned - I’m not going back to gas cars. I may consider Cayenne diesel as the only other alternative daily driver, otherwise I’ll stay with X5 diesels.

Usually, when you have a bad outcome, people bash the service provider, but not in this case. I wasn't able to get approved without a down payment for a car. I cannot believe that BMW put a 4 cylinder with turbo in an X3. It is the single problem I have with my car. otherwise it is perfect. The 6 cylinder in my 2005 was Awesome!!!!! BMW stands for Performance, GIVE IT.

It's all about the B58 in the M40i. I dinged it one star on comfort because this little SUV rides quite "sporty" even in Comfort mode. I absolutely love this about the car, but I could see how some would feel this is too harsh as it is not a luxurious, cushy ride. But tuck this little beast into a fast corner and it's just...wow! This little German SUV is a sleeper. While the X3M is very nice, the M40i is the perfect balance in my opinion. BMW has really stepped up their game in the X3.

This is my 2nd BMW after keeping my previous 528 for over a dozen years ! Still going strong but had to change. After test driving a few, came back to BMW... Its like Apple, once you get an iPhone, it is hard to switch ! Bought a CPO, which gives us more time. Nice car. Good power. Have to constantly check the speedometer to ensure we stay within limits ! So silent and smooth... Love it !

I have used the 2019 BMW X3 for over a year now, as my third BMW, the other two being the 3 series sedan, with just one problem; Fuel pump failure, though due to my negligence. I now understand that the BMW cannot be operated without sufficient Fuel.

This 4000 lb beast maneuvers like a sports car. As someone who's always been passionate about cars, I leaned towards vehicles like the 3 series coupe or Audi A5. However, when the need for family space arose, SUVs felt dull. Then I got behind the wheel of the X5. It's a revelation—you truly don't have to compromise. There's ample space, exceptional handling, and a range of engines from powerful to downright exhilarating (like the X5M).

I went to buy a cash car. I had a price range to follow. I looked at a Lexus 07 LS460. I was helped out in getting a deal for this car by Jesse. I had some some request to be addressed first, to make me feel better about the deal. I saw they where all made. Maybe not to a high standard but they were done. The whole process felt easy with no pressure. I never believed Jesse was playing games with me. Ever. All in all he sold me a car I wanted and at the price I wanted. What more can you ask for? It's a 07. It's got issues. Yes. It's a used car but the buying experience was never an issue. Would I go back to buy another one? Yes. Will I tell a friend? Yes. My first Bmw x5 was a 2013 and was wrecked and was a great car . I purchased a 2015 this year as a upgrade and I love it.

Before you buy any BMW older than 2018, check out the Isley V BMW lawsuit. You will find the V8 in all pre 2018 BMW's to be problematic for oil leaks and valve stem failures due to defective engine design and excessive heat. I have this X5 with the V8 and it's a wonderful car to drive and look at. It's my 5th BMW and by far the most reliable. Unfortunately, even with all the meticulous care, my car has experienced the oil leak and smoking exhaust, just like all the N63 & N63TU engines through 2018 will experience this problem and the cost to repair exceeds $20K from the dealer. If you find one that had the valve stem seals replaced, I wouldn't hesitate to buy it, it's a great vehicle in many ways.

This is the most underrated gems in the used diesel SUV market—but only if you’re the right kind of owner. Powered by the soon becoming legendary M57 inline-six diesel engine, this version of the E70 X5 combines German engineering with long-haul durability if treated right….and by treated right, I mean ideally maintained by someone who can turn a wrench and not the type of owner who wants to drop it off at the dealership for every noise or light. This vehicle is ideal for the hands-on car enthusiast who appreciates the mechanical integrity of a proper diesel engine and doesn’t mind putting in garage time to keep it in good shape. If you're someone who already loves BMWs and understands their quirks, this vehicle will feel like a rewarding project and a fantastic daily driver in one package. The M57 diesel engine is incredibly robust and becomes one of the best engines only with one huge caveat…the emissions equipment needs to be removed. In fact, I would not recommend owning this vehicle if you don’t plan or cannot do this in your state legally. Once deleted, this engine opens up and delivers a strong blend of torque, horse power and efficiency, making it an excellent tow vehicle. It's perfect for hauling a car trailer, camper, or family gear around without struggle. Stock, it’s already torquey, but with the deletes and a mild tune, this becomes a real beast without sacrificing reliability...and if given a race tune, this thing will hurt other drivers' feelings pulling from stop lights or on the freeway. The chassis overall is “decent” (Being said by a vintage BMW enthusiast, this is very much a compliment to today’s standards), but there are known maintenance pain points that a mechanically inclined owner should be aware of. If you plan to purchase from a used dealership or private seller, you’ll most likely need to do a suspension refresh including replacement of struts, bushings, arms etc.…possibly an engine refresh including valve cover seals, intake manifold cleaning and replacement of other various leaky seals…work on the cooling system including but not limited to replacing lines, hoses, main/expansion coolant tank as these are plastic and will crack and fail due to heat over time. There will be some normal interior wear including the finishes of center console buttons peeling off but are easily replaceable. Something important to note when purchasing is the interior sunroof shade condition, including whether it is completely operable and if there are any signs of sagging/peeling fabric. Any issue with the sunroof should reflect in the price as this item is very intricate, expensive, and difficult to work on. These aren’t dealbreakers though...just things to note when looking to purchase and if they’ve been covered in recent maintenance...if they haven't, plan for work that will inevitably need to be done. Again, don’t expect it to be hands-off, you’ve got to earn this one…But if you're up for the task, you’ll be rewarded with one of BMW’s most versatile platforms.

I love the M-sport package look on this car. It looks sleek and sporty. With a cold air intake this car sound beautiful. Rides great and can save a lot of gas in eco mode vs sport mode. Paddle shifters are fun and responsive.

Not the kind of car I expected, but I have been more than happy with it. The 2019 330i xDrive has been safe, efficient, and makes you feel like you are flying in a Boeing 777 or an F-18. It is quieter, meaner, and comfortable for long trips. That being said, some maintenance costs are high, but if you keep it for long run and maintain it thoroughly, it will last long enough.

After moving to Florida, I've been looking for a used sport convertible as a 2nd car for having fun on the road. After test driving the Mazda Miata and the Fiat 124 Spider Abarth, I found the 2012 BMW Z4 to be much more comfortable for my size (6ft. 1in). I also like the classic design, additional luxury accessories and the retractable hardtop. Even though a 2012 Z4 is priced higher than later model Mazdas and Fiats, for me it was worth the extra money.
