i bought my x6 xdrive 35i in july of 2023 with 40,000 miles for $32,000. i couldn't be happier. drives like a dream, is super comfortable, has very decent gas mileage, i love the looks and i've always done all my vehicle servicing and repairs since high school (i'm 69...so i've passed my learning curve), so repair and/or service costs aren't really a concern for me. the only complaint i have is the staggered size tires with no spare. as it's an all-wheel drive, and i bought it for its all-wheel drive ability, i obviously need "all-season" tires. the issue: the car came with run-flats WHICH ARE ONLY AVAILABLE IN SUMMER TIRES at these two different 20" sizes. also, when buying staggered size tires, they aren't possible to rotate which halves the tire warranty. 😖😖😖

Great experience! Bought a 2009 SUV in great condition. Manager worked with our credit union for financing and the process was absolutely seamless. Quick response time to my inquiry. I literally found the car online one afternoon and was driving it home that evening. FYI Dealership does have vehicle history report but they are unable to share/email them. You are only able to view them at the dealership. That was the only draw back. I recommend purchasing your own online. Besides that the experience and vehicle exceeded my expectations. Thanks Tedj!!

My 2011 328i has just reached 223k miles. No timing chain replacement. Only oil changes and coolant flushes. Obviously break pads and rotors. It’s been amazing. Fun to drive although I get 22mpg average. As Long as you don’t touch it and don’t drive it like you stole it, you can count on it.

This 4000 lb beast maneuvers like a sports car. As someone who's always been passionate about cars, I leaned towards vehicles like the 3 series coupe or Audi A5. However, when the need for family space arose, SUVs felt dull. Then I got behind the wheel of the X5. It's a revelation—you truly don't have to compromise. There's ample space, exceptional handling, and a range of engines from powerful to downright exhilarating (like the X5M).

When we flew in and got to the car dealership, H told us he did not want us to buy this vehicle without feeling absolutely comfortable. Allowed us to test drive it huge answered all of our questions. I bought this car used back in 2016 with around 27,000 miles for under 20 grand. Overall as most people might warn you the costs of owning a bmw is no where near cheap. As this is not your average run of the mill camry or accord. Personally, I have not had too many issues concerning reliability. Tires and brakes are expensive ranging anywhere from $1200 for a set of tires to around $800 for brakes all around. You could cheap out on those things but I would highly recommend not to. The interior is very comfortable but not good for taller folks. I would recommend getting the technology package as it comes with a bigger infotainment screen. The car's exterior has held up to the test of time, it still looks modern considering it is now 7 years old. But once again repair costs come up again. After a few door dings and rock chips on the paint, I wanted to get the paint touched up at my local BMW dealership. They quoted me for over $1500. I ended up going to a secondary body shop and paid half that. However those prices are insane for what you will pay for this car used. I do not recommend buying this car used especially with high mileage. As you will find that the costs to maintain and repair will begin to surpass what you paid for it. In terms of performance this car does not lack. My 328i came with a 4 cylinder turbo. It gets up and going surprisingly quickly if you are in the right gear. The 0-60 on this car I have personally measured at 5.6 seconds. Obviously weather conditions and different altitude will differ your performance. In terms of gas mileage throughout owning it, I can report that it is as advertised. I get around 30 mpg on a good week of mostly highway cruising. On a bad week of city driving it could range from 24-27. If you are looking to buy this car make sure you keep up with maintenance or find a car with a good maintenance history.

I bought my car three years ago. I am very impressed with the smoothness of the drive, reliability, and features. With over 170,000 miles, primarily maintenance items only. Are dealers in repair shops will try to charge more based on the vehicle, but maintenance is quite easy and inexpensive if you do them yourself. It is important to regularly change the oil and filter every 5000 to 7500 miles to keep it operating smoothly. Only non-maintenance repairs include front CV shafts ($160), Control Arm ($110) and Fuel Pump ($140) which I found videos on YouTube and completed within two hours each. Regular oil and filter changes ($30) take 15 minutes and very easy to access. If you don’t mind doing the work yourself, the car is inexpensive to keep and maintain, gets good gas mileage (28mpg), drives excellent, and looks great.

I was given a 2007 BMW x3 3.0si 6mt about a year ago. It was given to me with a blown power steering line after a local shop had destroyed the rack trying to remove it. After about $1000 in parts to get the steering rack fixed (kind of complicated component in the 6mt as it’s different than the others), this is easily one of the best cars I’ve ever owned. I liked this truck so much that I made it full bolt on within a month of driving it and have enjoyed every moment. As per all BMWs, I recommend you do all the preventive maintenance before you buy, but at 120k miles I can say it’s been a blast! I totally get what BMW was going for I this thing and it’s been a pleasure. Highly recommend the 6mt E83

I love this car so much! As a traveling doctor, this vehicle has safely climb passes cover in snow and ice, held steady on black ice, muscled through torrential downpour rain and never faultered. Between the traction control, quick response, no accidents. And when its dry road, it handles like a sports car. All the while I am surrounded with an amazing audio system.

Recently purchased 2013 bmw 528i Xdrive - Alpine white over cinnamon brown beautiful spec. 80k miles - 6 months later no problems. Equipped with cold weather package - and 360 camera. Amazing technology for the year. The illuminated door handles at night really provide a luxury feel before entering the comfortable interior. Extremely smooth drive but then you put it in Sport mode and everything changes - faster throttle response. Tighter steering, propelling you forward leaving everyone in your rear view. The sound system although not specified as Harman/Kardon still is loud enough for me to not care. Really loud and stock Bluetooth connectivity is great. Engine has light rattle sound on start up but it’s a common noise for that base engine and gets quieter when engine warms up. First bmw and easily stands out as one of my favorite cars owned to date.

STAR AUTO MALL: Worst car dealer EVER! I bought a 2017 BMW X3. They never checked the car! I had problems immediately! I called, emailed & texted... Star Auto Mall would NOT return my calls, texts or emails! I went to BMW dealer, and they found lots of issues! Wires hanging down, tires rubbing, etc. It cost me $480 to fix it! I billed Star Auto Mall, and it looks like they're just chucking me the finger!! AVOID these incompetent thieves!
