This was my first BMW, bought with 79,000 miles and sold at 324,000 miles...ran well and was a great car, you can depend on it to run and run if taken care of. Only replaced parts that wore out, never a problem, so batteries, brakes wipers, oi,l changes as needed...will run forever! Now on my 6th 5 Series!!!!! Great car...great memories!

I had been looking at C3 Corvette's for almost 2 years and I finally found my 1979 Corvette with Glass T Tops and a 4-speed manual transmission and a very clean interior and very clean interior. Very good looking Corvette and they called me earlier today and the shipper told me it was ready to be shipped out, so I should have my dream car next weekend. As we move closer and closer to fully automated driving, there are some who still want the experience of driving a performance car that’s not fully operated by the latest computers and technology. This is the car for those people. This is hands down the most pleasurable driving experience I have ever had behind the wheel. Is it the fastest? Absolutely not. Is it the most luxurious? Not by today’s standards. But a well sorted e39 M5 will put a smile on your face every time you get behind the wheel. Not to mention the good examples are appreciating in value lately.

professional..however a lot of the cars they are selling don't run or need extensive work..it makes me feel the ads are a bit deceptive..not disclosing that info upfront..I wouldn't have wasted my time pursuing these vehicles

2020 X1 w/sport seats and convenience package, purchased in 2023. Positive notes: It's a true BMW: sure-footed, agile, and no shortage of power when needed. It feels remarkably glued to the road despite its small size. Handles as well as my former 3 series and is just as fun to drive. Storage space is good. Ergonomics are good once you figure out all the technology. Negatives: Ride is a bit bumpy, even for a sporty car, which is apparently caused by the run-flat tires. If I was buying new, I'd get standard tires and a real spare, which fits in the storage space in the back. Sensatec seats are hot. In retrospect, I'd hold out for leather. Overall, I recommend this car if you're looking for something small, practical, full-featured and sporty.

Smallest SUV in the range and it still drives confidently. Plenty of power and torque from the turbo 4-cylinder. A very refined ride. Interior appointments remind you that you’ve bought a quality car.

Now one thing to note is that if you plan on modifying the car please do your dudillagence and take every installation very seriously! I bought this car used back in 2016 with around 27,000 miles for under 20 grand. Overall as most people might warn you the costs of owning a bmw is no where near cheap. As this is not your average run of the mill camry or accord. Personally, I have not had too many issues concerning reliability. Tires and brakes are expensive ranging anywhere from $1200 for a set of tires to around $800 for brakes all around. You could cheap out on those things but I would highly recommend not to. The interior is very comfortable but not good for taller folks. I would recommend getting the technology package as it comes with a bigger infotainment screen. The car's exterior has held up to the test of time, it still looks modern considering it is now 7 years old. But once again repair costs come up again. After a few door dings and rock chips on the paint, I wanted to get the paint touched up at my local BMW dealership. They quoted me for over $1500. I ended up going to a secondary body shop and paid half that. However those prices are insane for what you will pay for this car used. I do not recommend buying this car used especially with high mileage. As you will find that the costs to maintain and repair will begin to surpass what you paid for it. In terms of performance this car does not lack. My 328i came with a 4 cylinder turbo. It gets up and going surprisingly quickly if you are in the right gear. The 0-60 on this car I have personally measured at 5.6 seconds. Obviously weather conditions and different altitude will differ your performance. In terms of gas mileage throughout owning it, I can report that it is as advertised. I get around 30 mpg on a good week of mostly highway cruising. On a bad week of city driving it could range from 24-27. If you are looking to buy this car make sure you keep up with maintenance or find a car with a good maintenance history.

I’ve owned two 2015 X5D’s - daily driven for 7 years for a combined 173,000 miles (sales job), I averaged 29MPG on each tank in mixed driving (38+mpg on hwy using renewable diesel in CA), and it’s been so much more reliable than any gas car I’ve owned… The only car that compares in reliability is two BMW 328 diesels I’ve owned - I’m not going back to gas cars. I may consider Cayenne diesel as the only other alternative daily driver, otherwise I’ll stay with X5 diesels.
