Searched online and drove several trucks before I came across the one I purchased from Midwest Motors. The Truck drove and looked excellent in comparison to what everyone else in town had to offer just under the $15,000 budget. Was very impressed by the transparent way business was done here and even more impressed by the fact that this local dealer produced paperwork for all service/maintenance performed on it prior to them offering it for sale. I have bought many vehicles over the years and this experience was refreshing.

Recently purchased 2013 bmw 528i Xdrive - Alpine white over cinnamon brown beautiful spec. 80k miles - 6 months later no problems. Equipped with cold weather package - and 360 camera. Amazing technology for the year. The illuminated door handles at night really provide a luxury feel before entering the comfortable interior. Extremely smooth drive but then you put it in Sport mode and everything changes - faster throttle response. Tighter steering, propelling you forward leaving everyone in your rear view. The sound system although not specified as Harman/Kardon still is loud enough for me to not care. Really loud and stock Bluetooth connectivity is great. Engine has light rattle sound on start up but it’s a common noise for that base engine and gets quieter when engine warms up. First bmw and easily stands out as one of my favorite cars owned to date.

After moving to Florida, I've been looking for a used sport convertible as a 2nd car for having fun on the road. After test driving the Mazda Miata and the Fiat 124 Spider Abarth, I found the 2012 BMW Z4 to be much more comfortable for my size (6ft. 1in). I also like the classic design, additional luxury accessories and the retractable hardtop. Even though a 2012 Z4 is priced higher than later model Mazdas and Fiats, for me it was worth the extra money.

I had my first oil change after purchasing a new vehicle in Colorado. The service here was great, took a short amount of time, and the person I worked with was very friendly and knowledgeable.

Great family car that is super fun to drive. The cargo space and rear legroom are amazing! I have a tall family and everyone can travel together in comfort. Add in the panoramic moonroof, rear climate controls and heated rear seats and you get a lot of bang for your buck in this underrated hatchback!

This was my first car and i definitely recommend. 1.It is super cute 2.it is small and easily maneuverable and fear of hitting something is low 3. it goes really fast so its easy to get up to right speed quickly. It brakes i would say are a little different at first but once you experiment you get the jist and they are actually very good. Overall I would recommend for the price and its an easy car to operate and goes fast.

Follow-up review from 4 weeks ago. The used car I traded for only had one key fob. They said tame a loaner car until we can get you the fob. The loaner car was a 2023 Ford EDGE ST loaded.key fob from FIAT took 4 weeks to come in. They never even called once about it they said drive it. You talk about a TOP TIER dealership? Luke Thomas my Sales Consultant the entire time stuck by me for 4 weeks. Ames Ford Lincoln is my Dealer for life for quite obvious reasons! They are the Top dealer for me, one would make a huge mistake if you didn't at least give them a shot! Oh and by the way it was a very small sale to them and me, only a few thousand dollars difference. I can only wish the key fob would have taken much longer to have come in!

Overall top notch. Had delays getting oil leak repaired. Frustrated with repair delays and so far good repair. Sales staff was very good. I got extra help getting 2024 certified.

BEST CAR EVER, I BOUGTH IT ON 2018 WITH 44000 MILES. STILL RUNNING PERFECT WITH 180000 MILES. GREAT POWER ON COMFORT DRIVE. ON ECO DRIVE YOU LOSE A LOT OF POWER BUT YOU SAVE GAS. IT HAS A GREAT STABILITY ON HIGHWAY. THE MUSIC SOUND SYSTEM IS POWERFUL!!

My 2011 328i has just reached 223k miles. No timing chain replacement. Only oil changes and coolant flushes. Obviously break pads and rotors. It’s been amazing. Fun to drive although I get 22mpg average. As Long as you don’t touch it and don’t drive it like you stole it, you can count on it.

This Truck is a replacement for 2008 LR HSE (totaled) I just got it over a month ago and it is good so far. Very fun( zippy) to drive. Wish the seats were more comfortable. I have the 35i XLine. 79k on the clock. You have to get familiar with the idrive, also my heads-up display is not working properly. There is also a coolant leak which will be taken care of under warranty. This vehicle also used premium gas. Soo far we will see how reliable it shall be.

My Dad has bought 4 cars from Toms before he over he passed away. I myself have bought at least 2 as far as I am concerned Toms auto is the only place to go for a Used car! So, as you can see, we have never been disappointed. This car I bought 3 days ago is the best yet! I had a saleperson that was great! 10 years ago I was looking to buy a 2012' M3, V8 aspirated engine. When a pro BMW sales consultant told about M335is with 3.0 L twin turbo and much lighter gvwr that I could turn into an M3 rival without the $78K price tag. Then He told about Steve Dinan the BMW pro engineer that his company builts the performance upgrade for BMW's all over the world. So I end up buying this beautiful 2012' 335is coupe and had BMW install a DINAN Stage 2 computer boost tune upgrade that produced 89 HP increase plus the 320 HP factory stock HP and then added the DINAN Diamond cut Exhaust system along with a DINAN full sport suspension. But I didn't stopped there, then I added a ECS Black steel charge pipe coupled with SYPNAPSE BOV and finally a Carbon fiber ECS cold air intake to make this car a fun little beast to drive. This car is the most fun to drive car that I have ever owned.

STAR AUTO MALL: Worst car dealer EVER! I bought a 2017 BMW X3. They never checked the car! I had problems immediately! I called, emailed & texted... Star Auto Mall would NOT return my calls, texts or emails! I went to BMW dealer, and they found lots of issues! Wires hanging down, tires rubbing, etc. It cost me $480 to fix it! I billed Star Auto Mall, and it looks like they're just chucking me the finger!! AVOID these incompetent thieves! Joe was my go-to guy at one of the lots where this vehicle I was interested in is they have four lots in Des Moines. It's always wanting to come up there and have the vehicle taken to another shop nearby and pay to have it inspected so I can find out what it needs and decide if I wanted this still purchase it with whatever it needed and that was no problem but they wanted me to fill out the credit app online and that was cool and Danny but there's no reason to pull a hard hard copy of my credit report if I'm coming up to go look at the vehicle because if there's more things that need to be done to where then I want to put into it I probably wouldn't do the deal and I'd have a hard thing on my credit report that I wouldn't be able to get taken off so other than that them telling me to go do that even though they knew I wanted to get it checked first was my only irritation. But something came up and I had to register another vehicle that I have in my personal access right now so I may have to wait a couple months before I want to go up there and do that but my job allows me to travel all over so I might get to go up there if I can this month and check out the vehicle to see if it's something that I really really want before someone else gets it so yes Joe I appreciate you working with me and look forward to consuming this business transaction soon. Purchased a 06 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited HEMI from Midwest Motors 2 months ago. Looked at and drove 5 vehicles in that price range and model years prior to choosing this one, it drove and handled better than all the rest. Purchase price was fair and the transaction was painless. The dealer also provided their initial vehicle inspection report and all service/maintenance they had completed before offering it for sale. NO ONE else provided that, which made my decision easier in addition to the fact it drove the best out of my list of prospects. They have the best value in town, several dealers on the auto mile but none that recondition their vehicles to this level so the customer does not have to.

Great car . Parts are cheep but costs a lot to install. Best diesel motor for power and mpg I have had ! Hoping to put at least 300k on it . Should last 500k .

We've had this car for 2 years and put 20K miles on it. We're the 3rd owner and it's driven mostly by my wife. Bottom line, we love the car. It's a confident ride, even in incremental weather with xDrive. My Hendrick BMW advisor told me it was built on a 7 Series Chasis. It's huge inside with reclining back seats! The double rear hatch design is unique but we rarely open the lower hatch so I'm not sure why it was engineered that way. I'm in my early 50's and this is our 6th BMW. I'd say my 2000 BMW 735i with staggered M Wheels was my favorite but now that we have a large family, this serves us well. Costco trips are a breeze and the panoramic roof is wonderful...until it broke. If you don't have the means to deal with repair costs, buy a Honda. I say this sincerely. We bought it for $19,500 cash from a private owner. At that time, dealerships were asking just under $25K. In 2 years, we've purchased run-flat tires, AC blower motor and Final Stage Unit (bought the parts from Bav Auto and installed them myself), Spark Plugs (they have to be BMW - installed myself), air struts died in the rear (BMW specialist shop), various suspension components (BMW specialty shop), battery, and just last week the sunshade ripped apart on it's tracks. We've spent about $6,000 in repairs (I'm including the quote on the panoramic sunroof and left out the cost of the tires). I'm not shocked because my previous two 5 Series BMW's had issues. Only my old 1986 325 never gave me issues for four years. I do love this car but it's costly to maintain. Now with 85K miles I'm sure we'll see more surprises, but my wife insists on keeping it. Personally I'd rather see her in a Lexus GS 350 AWD but she says the Lexus is dull. BTW - on two occasions the engine completely shut down on her and left her stranded. We took it to the BMW dealers and they found no issues. I don't feel she'd have this in a Lexus.

This is an update from my February 1, 2019 review. I have now owned the vehicle for nearly seven years. I’ve personally driven nearly 20,000 miles in it. The vehicle now has nearly 50,000 miles on the odometer. I purchased it certified pre-owned from a BMW dealership. I have maintained the vehicle to manufacturer specifications. I have only paid for routine maintenance. I have paid for zero repairs. My previous review is confirmed. Full disclosure, two repairs were covered under warranty by the BMW dealership when I purchased the vehicle and one other repair was performed by a different BMW dealership due to their mistake during a routine service.
