The M3 has gotten very luxurious while losing nothing in performance. Choices abound. the car starts in comfort/efficiency mode, if you are just going to the supermarket. But two "M" buttons on the steering wheel (you set them up yourself) can quickly change that. I have M1 set up for sporty and M2 for "to the max". The seats are a bit firm. I can ask the car to cool itself via a BMW app 10 minutes before I arrive. Many things like that. The manual transmission is standard BMW, similar to my 14 year old 1M. Many options are via virtual buttons, menus, and submenus, but I got used to it faster than I expected. Through the app I can check how much gas I have and what the tire pressure is and where I've driven (you can turn that off). It can connect to the dealer for regular maintenance. It's amazing! I'm not crazy over the electric clutch, but I'm getting used to it.

Haven’t reached break-in mileage limit as yet but so far, car has met all of my expectations with regard to quality and performance. Agree that infotainment display is a bit overwhelming. Front end isn’t as objectionable in person as seen in pictures or videos.

I recently purchased A 2018 Alpina B7 from Ray at Motor Cars Of Chicago. When I purchased the car I made it clear to Ray that I was going to be in need of the title in ASAP fashion – Ray said I’d have the title within two weeks and boy did I just like he said he fulfilled the promise he made no questions asked. Also on the way home after taking delivery, I had a very minor problem that turned out to be a bad battery. Ray was unaware of when we took delivery of the car – Ray didn’t hesitate he reimbursed me for the batteries I had to have installed at the BMW dealer by the BMW dealer. He said the car was flawless and he stood behind that statement. Ray is very straightforward and no xx perhaps not full of warm fuzzies for everyone but a great way to do business, especially in the luxury and highline car business. I find Ray to be honorable direct and stand up and we’ll do business with him again if I had any reservations about doing business with them before this transaction, they are all completely gone and yours should be too. Our 2022 X5 was a beautiful car to us. Unfortunately it didn't work for us as my wife is handicapped and found it difficult to get in and out of - it's higher than one would expect and came to realize the seats are more inboard than other cars that are direct competitors. The 3 inch door sill was almost like a running board and contributed to her struggles. Even though we had the multi-contour seats, we found the lower cushion seat side bolsters too firm for any drive more than an hour. The seat back was fine. While driving around town and 2 lanes was great, it didn't track as well on the highway as one would expect, even after an alignment (it was off at delivery). Our old Volvos were much better in that regard. The positives include the exterior and interior design/layout, the quality, ride, handling and power. It also still has a few buttons, albeit a bit small when driving. The headlights were awesome and the gas mileage was better than expected, 21 around town and 28+ on the highway. Our situation is unique, and after 7 months we sold the car to a tall, able bodied couple.

This car is our first BMW. It may sacrifice some space, but that’s not a very big deal for us. This car is perfect for those who don’t need space, but need the capabilities of an SUV. We have the M40i version and it packs a punch. The 382 Hp B58 I6 is very quick in sport mode, and has very nice exhaust sounds. I love that it has rear AC, which is an upgrade from our previous car. This car also has ambient lighting which you can change the color of. The wireless Apple CarPlay is also very convenient. Although, it does not have the latest version of iDrive, it’s still decent and still includes a 12 in screen. If you don’t want to touch the screen and leave fingerprints, the X4 comes with a controller that you can use to control the screen. This car also has a good amount of physical buttons. Front seats have thigh extensions for those with long legs, and both seats automatically adjust. Overall, our family really likes this car and recommends it for buyers who want a unique take on BMW

Only had the X5 for 4 weeks now but so far it is an awesome vehicle that runs and drives great. It appears to be very well built with good body lines and fit. Some of the safety features and electronic systems take some time to get set up properly for the best driving experience but the reward is well worth the time as everything is customizable for two drivers. Only bad thing is that a mower along the roadside threw a stone and put a chip in our paint and the paint isn’t self healing.

Had my car serviced there (used car) & the staff was very nice, and communicated well. Had a small concern after i picked up my vehicle from service, but spoke with a team member who was very kind and explained what was to be expected after services. Would definitely recommend them to anyone.

It was a slow process but the sales team was able to come to an agreement with me and my wife. I told them it was not simply matter of getting the best deal we could, but that we flexed as much as possible and that the dealership had to adjust to meet our financial parameters which they did. Otherwise we would not have been able to leave with the vehicle.

My i4 eDrive 40 is a great car. Plenty of pep. Comfortable interior. Quality construction. GPS/Radio Controls/various interfaces ... not so good. You have to know what you are looking for, and ofter, go down too many levels to get to the proper input/output. More switches and dials would be better.

It's all about the B58 in the M40i. I dinged it one star on comfort because this little SUV rides quite "sporty" even in Comfort mode. I absolutely love this about the car, but I could see how some would feel this is too harsh as it is not a luxurious, cushy ride. But tuck this little beast into a fast corner and it's just...wow! This little German SUV is a sleeper. While the X3M is very nice, the M40i is the perfect balance in my opinion. BMW has really stepped up their game in the X3.

In 2001, BMW and a number of contemporary (then) film makers/directors, including Guy Ritchie, created an amalgamation of 8 short films featuring BMWs most coveted line-up of that years models. Although watching Clive Owen launch Madonna from the back seat of a beautifully appointed M5 onto a paparazzi lined red carpet was quite the spectacle, it was the X5 nimbly plowing through sugar cane fields that really caught my attention. At the time affording such a vehicle was way outside of reality, so I was only able to admire the SUV from afar. I eventually put the idea of owning one in the far recesses of my mind, and all but forgot about it. Flash forward to 2017. I'm standing at an intersection staring at my feet, waiting for the light to change. What happened next changed my life forever. I was witness to the most beautiful exhaust note I've ever heard coming from the tail pipes of a gorgeous black on black X5M. As it idled, it produced the faintest aroma not of spent fuel, but that of a well oiled machine. It just smelled clean. When the light turned green, and that engine opened up, I was shook. A solid ten seconds passed as I stood there slack jawed and wide eyed before I was able to figure out how to pick up my foot and start walking again. I was on my phone within moments and spent the remainder of my walk to work quickly consuming every bit of X5 info I could sink my teeth into. I was quick to discover that the M was never going to be of interest to me as it seemed to be the biggest money pit of the line-up, which to me should not be a deal breaker if you have the money, a genius of a mechanic, and it's not your daily driver. I was looking for the unicorn model. The one gem hidden among the ranks that no one mentions because, after all, the most vocal BMW drivers always seem to be the people who have never owned a reliable BMW. Let alone THE most reliable BMW. I want to go on record right now when I say that the 2004 E53 X5 is almost the most solid work horse of a bimmer, second only to the 1990 E30 325 ix. Talk about a Unicorn. If you know, you know. I digress; three months later I found myself behind the wheel of a 2004 X5. The way that in-line 6 E53 engine pairs with the AWD is something quite magical. Does it perform well as an off-road adventure truck? LOL! Nope (I fared much better in my old Montero). Will it crush mountain roads, dismantle The Tail of the Dragon, and put thousands of other vehicles in the rearview. Oh yes, and it will do it faithfully, despite the 225,000 miles on the odometer. It is 2022 after all, so if you're planning on buying one, rest assured, it'll still have tons of life in it. If I'm able to keep my 357,000+ mile 1990 E34 alive, I'm certain an 04 E53 can get there swimmingly. I swear by that inline 6. There's no better term for that configuration than "bullet proof". If you don't own one, find one, and buy it. If you already own one, buy another.
