I do not like SUVs. They do not drive well. They are just vanilla people haulers. I prefer a sedan but have a little more room would be nice. So a 3 series wagon is perfect! Couple that with a very torqy diesel and you have a real driver that can still get a few things done. I love it!

Just had to let it go after 8-1/2-years of faithful service! Only routine service and a battery replacement at 8-years. Changed out the run-flat tires to non-run-flats at 45K-miles, which made for a better ride. Needed a car with more safety features! Probably the best-looking wagon on the roads, comfortable, responsive and fuel efficient. Overall (8-1/2-yrs) MPG at time of sale was 37.5mpg and usually 44-mpg on the highway with cruise at 75-mph (just over $0.08/mile)! Will miss it! Replacement: 2025 CPO BMW X1.

Sean was very helpful. I contacted them about a car before I went there. Sean test drove the car and shot a personal video for me to see the car. He was friendly in person and helped with the test drive. I ended up not buying the car, but Sean was still friendly as we parted. Good selection of quality cars. In 2013 I leased a 2013 BMW 328xi - I absolutely loved the car. When the lease was over.. I went to other vehicles makes.. I want to say I went through 4-5 different newer model cars and hated all of them.. I looked for the BMW looks and power in all of them.. and none of them exceeded my expectations. Fast forward to 4 months ago.. And I purchased new, my 2017 BMW 328d xdrive (for thise of you that dont already know, the D stands for diesel) LOVE IT! PROS: (only naming a handful, too many to say!) The sharp body style, comfort on the inside. I have a 3 year old and his carseat is the Graco 4-Ever carseat and they both fit with room to spare. I am 5?1? so for me, the car fits perfectly for me with plenty of room! The car drives so smooth, easy to handle! Best pro is, when I am getting fuel, I get random people trying to stop me from putting diesel in my diesel car!! Its great! CONS: The took out the comfort package, since I dont need to have my keys in hand to start the vehicle, it is a pain sometimes to carry my keys in hand to lock and unlock. The software for the music sometimes wont load the songs, i have to change with my phone, the pandora part isnt very great, the GPS is great, but the fastest route is usually not the fastest route in real life. I can put the same address in my phone and also in car.. and they both use a different route and my phones time to destination is quicker than the cars GPS. Thats really it, everything else I love!

Bought a 2014 535d with 120k miles for my son and he absolutely loves it! Fun to drive + great fuel economy. With an 18 gallon fuel tank means less trips to pump. Primarily used as commuter to school and long road trips along I-5. Roomy enough to load all his gear for move-in day with rear seats folded down. Just a great highway cruiser...smooth, quiet, and loads of power from Diesel engine. We saw 50+ MPG gliding along freeway in EcoPlus mode. Throw into Sport mode and voila instant torque abounds (aka Smile mode). Diesel engine built to last, dependable, and silky smooth. Wonderful car!

I bought my 328i over 6 years ago with just a little over 35,000. I now have 105,000 on. It's a blast to drive. It was very reliable until I reached close to the 100k. Around 96,000 miles the oil pan gasket started to leak. Had to get it repaired ($600 - $700). Not too long there after, the valve cover started to leak oil ($700-$800). Started to get a check engine light around 105,000 miles - thermostat housing needed replacing ($428.00). After some research, I found that the water pump would also fail shortly after the thermostat, replaced it with thermostat ($1,049). After inspection, it looks like engine mounts needing replacing ($390). Hopefully, this is it for now. High mileage BMW's expenses will start to add up. Otherwise, fun car to drive if you are will to invest additional $$$ to keep it running

This car Will surprised you when you drive , it's a heavy car it drive like the 750xdrive and never under rate it is very fast has power . this is my fifth 5 series and I decided to go for the 535d xdrive ,well built and very economical picked it up from chicago and drove it for 4h45m to Cincinnati with a quarter of a tank very impressive.love my car

Great car . Parts are cheep but costs a lot to install. Best diesel motor for power and mpg I have had ! Hoping to put at least 300k on it . Should last 500k .

I love this car if you drive a long distance I get a whopping 44 miles to a gallon of diesel. Walk away from a major impact action with my first one with only a few scratches. I’m a BMW man forever.

Have owned a 328d since November 2013 (mfg Munich, October 2013) and it’s still a blast to drive—as much fun as the night I took delivery nearly 10 years ago. Averages in the low 50 mpg (except during a regen and then high 40s). The car has always exceeded the EPA estimates and I never use ECO PRO mode. Had an O2 sensor and glow plug module go out last year but that’s it. My first set of run flats lasted around 45 000 miles and first battery lasted a bit over 7 years and so, 10 years in only on my second set of run flats (Conti Sport Contacts) and OEM battery. Like car expert Richard Hammond of Top Gear opined…”best car ever built”. Not for short or city drives but for the highway commuter or road tripper—this is your ticket to ride and as of 2018 the party ended—TY EPA and the uninformed car consumer we lost one of the best products ever available here.

First diesel and I'm hooked on the efficiency and power! Bought this car in 2018 with 72K miles on it for 18.5K and have put 30K miles on it to date. Only maintenance I have done is oil changes, purchased a new set of tires and a brake job. Also add Def fluid every 10K miles or whenever the light comes on. Best fuel mileage ever, 600+/tank, and I have an extremely heavy foot. The ride is so smooth that you have to be mindful of the speed limit, 80 feels like 60! Great sound system but my model lacks the front and rear bumper sensors which is odd because you would think that feature would be standard on a BMW. Plus it doesn't have the front & side cameras like my Infiniti. Surprisingly it doesn't sound loud like a diesel. My friend owns a gasoline Mercedes sedan and it sounds louder than my car. Will probably end up giving it to one of my kids considering that you don't break a diesel in until you reach 100K miles. Purchased an extended warranty but haven't had to use it but I had never owned a Bimmer so I was trying to protect my investment. I believe there is a X5d and 550d Xdrive so I would definitely purchase another diesel BMW, best bang for your buck!

I purchased the 328d used, which is the reason for the high Value for the Money rating. Buying it new would be a poor rating. I purchased the this vehicle due to my long commute (135 miles per day). It had 50k miles and was 3 years old at the time I purchased it, now has 132k. The cost was less than 1/2 of the original MSRP. This is a very comfortable and stylish vehicle that has excellent performance. The 8 speed transmission is always in the right gear. It is really hard to describe how effortlessly the car moves, with the 4 cyl, turbo diesel. It is not a race car, but it is so balanced between quickness, handling, braking, ride quality, and of course fuel economy. As far as mpg, mid 40s is typical. I’ve have a few tanks that were over 50, and none less than 40. I just completed a one day trip of 1300 miles, and the vehicle returned 48.1 mpg, and that was at an average speed of 75 mph. The cruise speed was set at 81, nearly the entire drive. I’ve owned an excellent Lexus CT200 hybrid, but the driving characteristics are nowhere close to the BMW. It’s too bad BMW has stopped making this car. Look for a used one, you will be very impressed with this vehicle as a daily driver.

Great supportive seats, decent legroom in the rear. Drives awesome, steering is a bit light. Acceleration is very good for a 2L in a heavy car. Awesome blend of economy and comfort. Real world MPG 41 highway and 34 mixed driving. There’s a bit of diesel growl under acceleration but I don’t find it annoying. Car begs to be taken on a road trip.

But failed at negotiating a deal that would have been a win-win for buyer and seller. I lost out on getting my dream car due to price gouging and predatory lending.
