Biggest negative on the X5 is the run flat tires. I think they reduce the quality of the ride and at 5,000 miles had to replace two flat tires ---- non-repairable damage.

Nothing big, just having regular maintenance. This has been a great car. I leased then purchased it from Colonial and have been happy that I did. All set now.

Love it. Car is comfy, quick and the wonderful B58 Twin-Scroll Turbo I6 makes all the right noises! Awesome daily driver. Period! Interior has all of the amenities you could ever ask for. Ride is luxury-oriented but also can grip & RIP through the corners, almost as well as any sports sedan out there pretty much.

It's all about the B58 in the M40i. I dinged it one star on comfort because this little SUV rides quite "sporty" even in Comfort mode. I absolutely love this about the car, but I could see how some would feel this is too harsh as it is not a luxurious, cushy ride. But tuck this little beast into a fast corner and it's just...wow! This little German SUV is a sleeper. While the X3M is very nice, the M40i is the perfect balance in my opinion. BMW has really stepped up their game in the X3.

Amazing experience. I'd recommend anyone looking for a car to try CarMax first... There's zero pressure, tons of beautiful vehicles, and just an all around great place. Will definitely be buying from here in the future. They're willing to work with you if you don't have the best credit, and most importantly, they're just honest and transparent. Two very important things when spending tens of thousands of dollars. Put it this way, it was great enough experience for me to come online and leave reviews all over!

I had a very positive experience with Nick and his team at McGee Toyota in Epping. Nick was helpful, informative gave me the information that I needed. pricing was fair and reasonable, and I appreciated the explanations I was given. 1. BMW has relinquished transmission service, WHY? They DO NOT make their transmissions and the builder, another German company does and has a full service recommend sheet, with miles and correct fluids, et al. Now that's a load of crap. All transmission need servicing like any part with fluid traveling through it! So when your Trany goes out, you are looking a $4000+ easy, Thanks BMW for that PLANNED OBSELENCE! 2. No dip stick and access to change your oil or the very small oil gasket, NOT THE OIL FILTER, will cost you over $1000 in labor, TO ACCESS and a $14.08 part! 3. Ridiculous depreciation the minute you drive off the lot. I can buy a 2022 X7, retailing north of $95,000 for around. $50,000 and CPO/Certified with around 35-45,000 miles. 4. Very fun to drive, quality feel, twin turbo power I like, the profile is amazing on my 2017 X5. Don't like the body style changes. 5. You pay $65,000 or more and have to pay extra, with one package to get the Harmon Kardon stereo. xxxx, for that much in the price tag I should get the Bowers and Wilkins. 6. 9.5 and 10.5 wheels and tires make it look "mean". But no rotation and you will wear out the front tires in about 25,000 miles. Run flats are harsh and do not last. So, get an "S" model and gain gas mileage, rotate and balance tires and unless you live in a cold climate, the XDrive is a waste of additional sticker shock. of money. 10. The interior colors, mine is brown leather, are nauseating, at best. Orange looking leather, white leather-are you kidding me? And, the old standby Black!

Very comfortable, with massaging seats plus heated and cooled seats. I’m not sure that it’s a great value because it is expensive. The adaptive cruise control and the lane keeping work very well and almost make it self-driving.

Our 2022 X5 was a beautiful car to us. Unfortunately it didn't work for us as my wife is handicapped and found it difficult to get in and out of - it's higher than one would expect and came to realize the seats are more inboard than other cars that are direct competitors. The 3 inch door sill was almost like a running board and contributed to her struggles. Even though we had the multi-contour seats, we found the lower cushion seat side bolsters too firm for any drive more than an hour. The seat back was fine. While driving around town and 2 lanes was great, it didn't track as well on the highway as one would expect, even after an alignment (it was off at delivery). Our old Volvos were much better in that regard. The positives include the exterior and interior design/layout, the quality, ride, handling and power. It also still has a few buttons, albeit a bit small when driving. The headlights were awesome and the gas mileage was better than expected, 21 around town and 28+ on the highway. Our situation is unique, and after 7 months we sold the car to a tall, able bodied couple.

I recently bought a 2019 Toyota Camry from them. The car itself is in excellent condition, just as described, and I got a great deal. This 4000 lb beast maneuvers like a sports car. As someone who's always been passionate about cars, I leaned towards vehicles like the 3 series coupe or Audi A5. However, when the need for family space arose, SUVs felt dull. Then I got behind the wheel of the X5. It's a revelation—you truly don't have to compromise. There's ample space, exceptional handling, and a range of engines from powerful to downright exhilarating (like the X5M).

Purchased an older used Maxima with low mileage recently. Purchased an aftermarket used car warranty as well. Because of its age, the car needed suspension repairs. The service rep (Jeff) at Ron Bouchard’s was professional, communicative, very helpful and, most importantly, persistent in ensuring the aftermarket warranty company paid for all the necessary repairs. I truly appreciated his assistance and extraordinary effort on my behalf.

This is my second time purchasing a vehicle from Comet Auto Sales and I felt the need to leave a testimonial anywhere i could. I purchase vehicles about every two years. I drive to much to lease and drive to much to hang onto something so I've done the 'car buying thing' a few times. Nick was my salesperson on both accounts and he is very straightforward and knowledgeable. Both cars I have owed were beautiful, reliable vehicles. The first vehicle I purchased here I found out a few days after the sale that the lender I financed the car through was offering a 3 month 'delay' in pay and I called the dealership immediately to see if we could re write the loan to account for this - Nick took the time AFTER the sale to re write the contract to account for the 3 month delay in pay and FedEx'd the contract to me (on their dime) so we could make sure the loan went through in time. On the second and most recent occasion, I had purchased a BMW from them. They had put the vehicle through a shop to have the inspection sticker put on (please note the auto body shop is an independent business from Comet Auto Sales - they are in the business of buying and selling cars, they are not an auto body shop, so they outsource this task). The shop noted the car was great and I drove off. I had made an appointment with a local foreign car shop within my area which was about 2 weeks after the sale. This shop noted that I needed rear breaks and rotors. I contacted Nick at Comet Auto Sales and they paid for the whole thing (I was quoted $650 from several shops so it was not a small repair). I could not be more impressed and I would recommend them on so many levels and for so many different reasons. Deirdre

STAR AUTO MALL: Worst car dealer EVER! I bought a 2017 BMW X3. They never checked the car! I had problems immediately! I called, emailed & texted... Star Auto Mall would NOT return my calls, texts or emails! I went to BMW dealer, and they found lots of issues! Wires hanging down, tires rubbing, etc. It cost me $480 to fix it! I billed Star Auto Mall, and it looks like they're just chucking me the finger!! AVOID these incompetent thieves! I found the brothers who run this dealership genuine and honest. Normally, I assume that even a well priced car has a bit of wiggle room but David would not budge on the price which I found refreshing as opposed to large dealerships who never give you their bottom line price. David gave me his best price first!! The vehicle was well prepared for me and they have been extremely helpful throughout the process. I highly recommend this small and honest place!

I cannot believe that BMW put a 4 cylinder with turbo in an X3. It is the single problem I have with my car. otherwise it is perfect. The 6 cylinder in my 2005 was Awesome!!!!! BMW stands for Performance, GIVE IT.

This my first BMW x5 sdrive. I bought it used with 61,000 miles. Everything works perfect. I just had it serviced at BMW of Murrieta California and as expected it showed with no issues. Came out with flying colors! Poor
