It's all about the B58 in the M40i. I dinged it one star on comfort because this little SUV rides quite "sporty" even in Comfort mode. I absolutely love this about the car, but I could see how some would feel this is too harsh as it is not a luxurious, cushy ride. But tuck this little beast into a fast corner and it's just...wow! This little German SUV is a sleeper. While the X3M is very nice, the M40i is the perfect balance in my opinion. BMW has really stepped up their game in the X3.

Grant Anderson, my sales advisor, was professional, knowledgeable, and an absolute pleasure to work with. He made the entire process smooth and enjoyable. It felt like purchasing a car from a friend. I appreciate that he really knows the product he is selling and genuinely wanted to make sure the sales process was seamless. Ryan McKey, Finance, was equally impressive—he found me a better rate than my credit union and was genuinely focused on helping me choose the maintenance and warranty options.

Biggest negative on the X5 is the run flat tires. I think they reduce the quality of the ride and at 5,000 miles had to replace two flat tires ---- non-repairable damage.

I have been a customer of BMW OF Austin since 2017. I have known Mr. Tim Montgomery for as many years. Tim has been my Service Advisor since I first bought my BNW. I could not ask for a better person to take my car to in times of need. Tim is an exemplary individual. Professionally, he is thorough, patient, and very competent in taking care of my service needs. He is a very good listener, and he will address my concern no matter the magnitude, until he finds a satisfactory solution. In several instances, he has brought in specialists to provide me with a satisfactory explanation and fixed the problem. Socially, I see Tim as a friend. He is very welcoming, respectful and with a great sense of humor. I am fortunate that I have such a reliable individual to work with.

Very comfortable, with massaging seats plus heated and cooled seats. I’m not sure that it’s a great value because it is expensive. The adaptive cruise control and the lane keeping work very well and almost make it self-driving.

They are efficient and have always done high quality work. I have an older Mercedes that I love, and they have kept it running well for many years.

Representatives were helpful and cordial but the process which was pretty much completed by the time I went to pick up the vehicle took two additional hours. That is not acceptable!

Only had the X5 for 4 weeks now but so far it is an awesome vehicle that runs and drives great. It appears to be very well built with good body lines and fit. Some of the safety features and electronic systems take some time to get set up properly for the best driving experience but the reward is well worth the time as everything is customizable for two drivers. Only bad thing is that a mower along the roadside threw a stone and put a chip in our paint and the paint isn’t self healing.

Lafayette, who was my service advisor, was very awesome and patient with me. Answered all my questions, and even helped me with Sunbit application that was causing a problem for me. He went above and beyond from start to finish. Also the technician had a problem downloading my cars diagnostic review, received the wrong one, unfortunately, so I reached out to Lafayette after hours and he looked into the issue right away to make sure the proper repairs were actually done to my car. He explained what happened which put me at ease. Thank you Lafayette for going the extra mile.

I've had the 2025 X3 30 now for 5 months and it is great! It replaces our 2022 X3 that was recently totaled and both passenger walked away with just bruises so it is a safe car! This is one reason I purchased another X3. Big difference on the interior panel than the 2022 as everything has gone to touch screen for all controls which I not real fond about, even the owners manual is on the touchscreen software, The twin turbo gives plenty of power and the gas milage has improved from the older model. The gears change smoothly and the ride is also smooth. You now get a spare tire since BMW did away with the run flat tires which I hated as they did not wear great. The accessories offered in their package covers everything you want in an auto. I don't understand why the rear exhaust are hidden though as I like the chrome exhaust on my old 2022. This year the 3 was redesigned and it is slightly bigger.

I normally don’t write reviews but my family had such a great experience here that I feel I needed to tell everyone about it. We were shopping for a new Maverick truck in San Antonio (Northside Ford) area, they were advertising it as 36,000 but of course as we sat down somehow the price was hike up to 48,000 with taxes and etc….. and we went ahead and walk away discouraged. A friend suggested we give Leif a call because of a previous great experience he had, and sure enough after traveling over a 100 miles to get to Austin we bought the exact same truck $10,000 less! In my opinion well worth the extra drive, and not once did I feel we were getting ripped off!

Love it. Car is comfy, quick and the wonderful B58 Twin-Scroll Turbo I6 makes all the right noises! Awesome daily driver. Period! Interior has all of the amenities you could ever ask for. Ride is luxury-oriented but also can grip & RIP through the corners, almost as well as any sports sedan out there pretty much.

Corey Rutherford is the person to use if purchasing a vehicle. He exemplifies much passion for his job and dedication to his clients. For approximately six months, we had been searching for a particular vehicle with specific features and had spoken with many car salesmen throughout the process. We bought a 2025 Rav4 for my wife, a car she had saved up for over a number of years. It is our cross country vehicle for our retirement road trips. Everyone was helpful, with a special shout out to Damian Denova. While the dealership did everything right, Damian is the reason we purchased what we did, where we did. This process took about a year, we considered several makes and models from several dealerships, and ONLY Damian and Cedar Park Toyota stayed in touch over that timeframe. Being a retired salesman, I was very impressed with the job Damian did. He was a true professional in every aspect. He stayed in touch, let me know when a car came in he thought would interest us, without a hint of pushiness. Damian has the heart of a servant, and the gentle persistence it takes to succeed in Sales. As I told him in person, I was buying from him as a professional courtesy. Well done!

I had a great experience with salesperson, Steven in March 2025. The other staff that I interacted with were really good and helpful too. I didn’t feel pressured. I appreciated that they didn’t try to turn it into an all day process. I purchased the specific used vehicle that I had been searching for online. This was the best experience that I have ever had at a dealership. I highly recommend this dealership.

I have this car for 26,000 miles now. This is the best X5 that I have ever owned. The new engine is great on the xdrive 40i. No need for the M60. 0-60 in 3.9 seconds. Handling is great. Tires and much better than on the previous generation. The ride is tight and comfortable. They did an awesome job. Hopefully, this car will last as long as my previous 2010 X5.

The overall experience was fine but I was just not used to this business model. I bought a $70,000 used vehicle and after having dealt with the Land Rover and Mercedes dealerships for years, the customer service at CarMax is just not up to their level. But I guess that was how I paid $2500 - $5,000 less than what other dealers were charging for the same car.

STAR AUTO MALL: Worst car dealer EVER! I bought a 2017 BMW X3. They never checked the car! I had problems immediately! I called, emailed & texted... Star Auto Mall would NOT return my calls, texts or emails! I went to BMW dealer, and they found lots of issues! Wires hanging down, tires rubbing, etc. It cost me $480 to fix it! I billed Star Auto Mall, and it looks like they're just chucking me the finger!! AVOID these incompetent thieves! I recently bought a used 2020 BMW X5 M competition. Sean provided excellent service and communication about the vehicle, even sending a personal introduction video as well as an in-depth video of the vehicle running with the hood up. Nothing underhanded or shady, made all flaws known, even though there were only one or two and virtually imperceptible. I was an out of state buyer and Sean along with the other staff at Austin Porsche made the process streamlined and enjoyable. 10/10 would recommend. Thanks again guys!
