All these years of me looking right through most any generations of Buick Century’s until I inherited this 2003 Century Custom. I was dumbfounded at the reliability, and believe it or not, the subtle styling & major comfort & ride. Aside from owner neglect, the car started right up after having sat for months and idle for weeks in literal sub-zero temps as if it were in a heated garage all this time. I expected a rough & rattling ride on my first drive home with it, but I was amazed at the quietness & the gliding of the suspension. These Century’s are certainly an under-appreciated vehicle.

I bought this car 9 years ago as an ex hertz car. It had 24000 miles and now it's only got 52000 miles. The reliability is bulletproof so far nothing has ever gone wrong (touch wood). I've owned 33 cars and this car has Honda/Toyota build quality and reliability. The downsides are I find it very thirsty, I've never managed better than 22mpg in mixed highway driving. i find that the car is quite gutless but it's fit for purpose. The resale on these is worthless so I plan to keep this car until it dies. I have other cars but this is still my daily driver.

I had mine when I move from Puerto Rico to Florida 2 and a half years ago. I was not convince at first, but after driving it I notice how nice it rides. I got it with 125,000 miles and now it has 157,000. I spent some money on little things. Like a new alternator (Sound system mess it up) Trotle Position Sensor, Water pump, Computer, Air Compressor and 3 Coils. But the car had never left me on the side of the road and is surprising good in gas. Pretty soon I'm gonna add new shocks and that's about it. All the windows and electronics works perfect. AC is the best!!! I took it last weekend to Miami with my girlfriend and it did the trip with only 100 bucks in gas. My girlfriend call it "The King of the Highway" and she likes to ride in the Buick rather than her 2007 Pontiac Vibe for long trips. I had learn to love this car. Is been on my family for 16 years and I hope to stay with the Buick a few more years...
