nice lines, great power,room for 6 passangers, power everything; a true american classic. the el dorado was Cadillac's answer for a sports car in the 60's . ( rides like a Cadillac came from cars just like the 69 eldo. )

Have not heard the best things in the past regarding Windy Chevrolet but, that it has changed now with the New Service Manager. Bryan Swanson was amazing. I found this 2002 ETC in Phoenix, Az. 60K miles two owner. It fit my needs. Flew to Phoenix and drove it home 1378 miles averaged 24.7 MPG. That is better then the 2007 Suzuki I passed on to my Grandson. Ride is a bit stiff and noise level is more then I had expected. Overall a good value and looks good sitting in my garage. Advise. Read the owners manual front to back. There are things to do, to and for this car to keep it on the road.

Honestly love the car just bought it a month ago 81k miles on it , drives better then my 5 series BMW I have that’s a 2015 with 40k miles on it , drives smooth looks good and has some zip around power if needed id recommend it great car !

This is the third Cadillac Eldorado that I have owned. The first one was a 1993, then a 2000 and now a pristine 1998. They have all been "Polo Green". I've seen a lot of black, red and white but the green is hard to find. I love it! It catches a lot of people's eyes but I never even thought about that when I bought my first one. It is a dream to drive, looks like new inside and out. I've only had it for a couple months. It only had 18,235 miles on it when I bought it!

Beautiful styling and very comfortable. Not a big back seat. Plenty of power on ETC model and very responsive handling. Gas mileage is as advertised by manufacturer.

Nice. perfect condition. Big doors -2dr. Worried about high possible Cadillac repair costs. Bargaining - is already at lowest end of price range, esp. for a 103,000 mile car. Don't want to look rich, but my luxurious (Michigan) LeSabre is beyond rusting out.

Its super reliable. I do preventive work. In the last 6 years ive spent $550. R&r radiator fluid and hoses &,thermostat. New tires oxygen sensors. For a 4000 lb car it goes like a bat out of xxxx. Here is a review of my start to finish process of buying a car from Gateway Classic Cars, Ft. Lauderdale: ----- 1. The sales people who you work with are not on site. They're working remote so they don't have eyes on the car. ---- So, 2. You'll want to be connected with someone on site who can start and drive the car, provide a walkaround video, pictures of whatever you want and give their input. I worked with Alex at the Ft. Lauderdale location for my purchase and he was outstanding with helping me to know the car before making an offer. He is the reason that this is a 5 star review. -------- 3. Hauling: They'll get you a quote for hauling the vehicle. I chose Nexus Transport myself to use. They were a bit cheaper and top rated by Forbes. That went just fine. --------- 4. These cars are all on consignment. So, I feel that you have to be a little more careful because you have another party who may not have disclosed things to Gateway. Best practice is to get a pre-buy done from someone like Lemon Squad. That being said, I was so comfortable with my deal, took the risk and waived the pre-buy. And in my case, the Prowler is a mint gem and I have no concerns after receiving it. Also, there is a common thought then you buy a car like this, you should budget 10% or so of the price for maintenance right after you get the car because stuff always comes up, otherwise, don't buy a used car. --------5. Since they're on consignment, they have commissions they charge the seller. As a buyer, I don't care if I see a commissions line on the purchase agreement. As long as my out the door number was what I offered, that's fine. --------6. I wired money to them and within a few hours, I had all the fully executed paperwork back in my hands. Title took about 3 weeks to receive by UPS. And the folder had everything I needed to register the car in my state. Wow! Thank you Barbara! ------ 7. So here is what breeds loyalty. Alex at the Ft. Lauderdale location made sure the car was completely ready to be picked up including accessories that were bubble wrapped. The car was supposed to be picked up at Noon on Saturday, plenty of time before they closed at 5pm. He stayed until the truck arrived...very late....AT 1:30am Sunday morning!!!! (Otherwise, it would have sat until Tuesday). I cannot believe he did that for me. I received my car loading video at 2am. That's unbelievable service that deserves more than 5 stars. ------- Summary: I'd have zero issues with buying from Gateway again....they just operate in a different dealership style than what I'm used to, which is just fine.

I had a 1985 Cadillac Eldorado in 1989. It was cream colored and I Loved that car!! I don't know if the engine was the same in both these years? It had a lot of miles on it when I bought it. I would buy another one. Just saying.

This was a second car I purchased to tinker with but lost intrest with my age it runs and drive good but not excellent. it has gold custom wire wheels and a after market Panasonoc radio and CD player. there is a few knicks and pings but nothing major. oh yes there a is a small sound of the exaugst rattle but not major. Buy this car and a little fixing up and you will be ready for daily use or show.

It's hard to put in words how awesome these cars really are. When I was 22(in 99) I greatly over extended myself and bought a 96 pearl white etc with 5k miles for 50k cdn and my love for these cars had begun. I have my favorite classic cars but the 10th gen eldo's are the only "modern car" I'd buy. To be quite honest the reliability is mediocre at best and they are quite possibly the worst car to repair on the planet in terms of ease of repair but it's worth it. Sexy, sleek, powerful, comfy, and great on fuel if you don't drive like an idiot. 23 years later i still own my 96 but also a black showroom condition 2001. Now a days these eldo's have to be one of the best value buys of any car but be prepared to invest to keep them alive.
