My wife and I recently purchased a new car for her at Kunes of Belvidere. I am in sales and I have purchased many cars over the years. I’m not easily impressed but, I have to say, “Mo” Owaynat the general sales manager and numbers guy went over and above to get a deal done for me and my wife. On top of being a really nice guy, he worked hard to get a deal done that fit our needs and I felt the whole time like he was working as much for me as he was working for the dealership. This is my second XT5. Had a 2017 and never had a problem. Just got my 2023 XT5 Sport, and wow, maybe too much power for a senior citizen, but I love it. A few changes from the 2017, but love the car. I put other vehicles like the Jeep or GMC as beasts, my XT5 is more like a cat, still get where I want to be with luxury.

5 stars because our salesperson Teresa was super kind and attentive and let us find and test drive vehicles at other dealerships before coming back to Kunes. They have nice cars too! Only negative was the 3 hours it took to sign paperwork for car (no financing, paid cash) but perhaps they were busy. They did apologize often..lol

We love our XT5, it drives great and looks great. The only thing is the navigation. You have to plug in your cell phone to get it.

Very nice SUV has a Cadillac comfort ride witch his excellent. A lot of features and gadgets. Cadillac stuff in around for years and I always have been very luxurious and the ride is just awesome.

This is an update to previous review. I bought the cerma plate protection package but was unhappy with the interior. I took it back and it turned out that nobody even worked on the interior. They did it while I waited. If I hadn't taken it back I would have paid for something I didn't get. The service dept. was a little upset with my mood and attitude, but when they found out no-one had even worked on my interior they were very apologetic and nice about it and thanked me for bringing it to they're attention. I don't like dealers and this is a perfect example of why.

We discussed with friends a solid American vehicle to serve as a daily driver and saw good bones with the distinctive exterior/interior design and technologically advanced XT4 Sport (20” wheels). The 2.0-liter turbocharged engine handles everyday driving and quick passing maneuvers without issue. The 9-speed automatic transmission is generally smooth but does seek the perfect gear, particularly in low-speed traffic. For many, the OEM setup may be just fine, however, we opted to “refine” a few of the Luxury & Sport options that the original owner passed on (we're the 2nd owners) and now enjoy climbing into the cockpit of this daily transporter! Went in to see a car that they had on their lot which met all the options we were looking for. We were unhappy with how we were treated at another dealer during the buying process, and saw the car for sale on the Weiser lot. Ended up buying from Bud Weiser.

I bought my 2019 xt4 over one year ago with 21K miles now have 30k miles - no problems at all. Runs beautifully, always reliable and very pretty in the red.

We had purchased a vehicle last Saturday. Did not pick it up because it had a check engine light on. They were going to fix. But it had a bigger problem and the told us. So we got all are deposits back. Very honest dealer. Could have just sold it to us. Ron was the salesman

The XT5 was well maintained, inside and out. The ride is smooth. Up-to-date technology. I rode 324 mile road trip was with no problems. My family was impressed with the ride, interior and technology.

My initial review is posted at the bottom. I have changed my rating from do not buy, to good. It appears that KUNES Sycamore has recently hired a very competent Jerome Witt who, albeit after 6 months resolved my issue within a couple of days. If you have an issue with KUNES, I highly recommend contacting Jerome. I purchased a 2009 Mercedes SL550 (48,00miles) from this stealership and added a "Bumper to Bumper aftermarket warranty" which I paid for separately from the car through Kunes. After 3 weeks (1,500mls) the car developed an issue with a suspension damper. Kunes quoted a $1,500+ repair charge and of course it was not covered by the "Bumper to Bumper warranty". Multiple emails to Eddie Boliaux (GM) has proven to be futile. Please think twice before dealing with these people, especially if they try to sell you a useless aftermarket warranty. I had my Porsche in storage for the winter. I was involved in an accident with my daily driver and totaled it, so I needed to get the Porsche out of storage asap. Usually a 30 day notice is needed, but the staff made it happen to get it done asap. That is Customer service!! I love that place and their staff and I maybe one I could be working for them 😎

I traded my 2004 cts in for the 2020 xt4. My local ORR dealer didn't have a red one, so I had to drive to Frico, TX to pick it up. Love the red color. Have to get use to all the bells and whistles. The heated stirring wheal was something I didn't expect. It's a very smart car, but has an owner who has to read the manual to learn what all that the xt4 has to offer. Having back issues, love the lumbar heated seats. Was very surprised when the bright lights came on automatically when I am driving thru a darker area. Got to get horn check because it sounds horrible like a truck instead of a smooth honk. Going from regular unleaded to premium unleaded was a money changer. Very roomy inside. Love that all doors can be unlocked automatically if you have the key close by. The cargo area is very spacious. I guess this car will take me until I die!!!!!

Had a wonderful experience with these people. I bought a 2018 silverado while there, I even bought a box of candy bars from a young girl that was there, I shared with staff.. I love this place...Its True

The Cadillac XT4 Is a good SUV,it just falls a little short in some categories that could make it great.A little better performance.better quaity interior pieces and some reliably issues.

I had just got this car and it's been to the shop twice, first 2 days I had it I loved it, the performance is great and the interior is amazing! I have the sport utility model and I love all the features and the sound of the xt5!! Over the week my power liftgate stopped working/ would only work at certain times, my check engine light came on reading codes about the camshaft and coolant temp not being high enough. I'm not sure what's going on, this might just be a me problem but over all very nice car, just alot of bells and whistles and specific dealerships to go through if it ever needs repairs.
