I have been a Cadillac owner all my driving life. I must say the Allante is very sporty compared to the boat like ride of the classic Cadillacs. I enjoy driving it especially with the top down.

Great car. My wife calls it a "Chick Magnet." The only fault the car has is Getting Parts! Once you have the parts, finding someone who knows about the car is a real trip! most mechanics don't want to touch the car. But with all the potential problems, still love the car!

I love my 2008 XLR. Leased it new. Lease was up so I thought they wanted too much money of course so I left it at the dealers and rented something else. We were in Florida and I saw one in a showroom. Went to look at price but it was sold. Looked at a listing for one in the area, and there was my car, mileage, vin number etc. so I called and asked if it was a former lease. Yes. From Colonial Cadillac in Danvers Ma. Answer: yes who is this. I explained and he asked me what the dealer wanted. They must think women can be rolled over. My answer was the same xxxx price you have it listed for. So NO. I went to test drive it and they were giving away Starbucks gift cards. It was so sad. My dog ran right over to the car whimpering. It took about another month with no wiggle room. BUT I called said I was leaving for Ma next week, last offer and have a nice life. I of course was lying, told me the car was mine and spent 2 more months in Fl and shopped it back home where it gets used infrequently with the to down.

The dealership provided a quick response and follow up to insure that all my questions were answered. Cadillac Allantes originally listed for $55,000+ and can be had for a fraction of that in 2010. These cars feature Italian coachwork by Pininfarina and were built alongside Ferrari Testarosas. The interiors have multi-adjustable Recaro seats (except for the 1993, final year, models) and a wealth of features. While the Bose stereo systems are notoriously fragile and the top pull down mechanisms are prone to failure, the cars are otherwise reliable if properly maintained. The V8 engines provide more than adequate power, and the 1993 Allantes feature the famous Northstar engine.

I have owned two xlr' s to date and now planning on moving up to the V. Procrastinated several years considering the cost of the higher-octane fuel required by the V. Retired now so don't plan to drive so much, I am going to keep the 2007 limited edition base (250 made) I have now so I can still ride in stile on regular gas. The 2007 has 63K on it I have put brake pads on the front and replaced the AC compressor. You would do that with any car. The top is an engineering marvel. Everyone who has commented on the car thought it was new, OK, maybe not everyone, there are a few who know the car, all are envious. Such a hoot coming out of a store knowing you get to drive off in the best-looking car in the whole parking lot. Fun to drive is a gross understatement. For me, there was no need to put the super charger on this car. At a buck thirty, I got scared of what would happen if I hit a deer, it was still climbing when I backed out of it. I also have the 2002 red with black interior Eldo.

The staff efficiently showed the car and allowed a test drive. They were willing to entertain an offer and we ultimately agreed on a price.

Luxurious convertible sports car. Similar to a Corvette C6 repairs can be expensive though. It's fast and definitely an eye catcher. Plenty of leg room and parts accessories are available through Amazon.

First time we’ve ordered a vehicle sight unseen (except for photos) from out of state. Everyone at Midtown Auto were excellent to deal with and made the process extremely Easy. We we first impressed by their ability to find low mileage vehicles and then sell at such a reasonable price. When we received the car, we were impressed that it looked better than the photos and was in pristine condition. It was also full of gas and recently serviced….nice touch. Shipping was easy and FAST. An elegant Grand Tourer that still turns heads and drives brilliantly. The XLR has many features including adaptive cruise control, heads-up display, memory seats, dual zone air, heated and cooled seats, and many more. The experience is want you'd expect from Cadillac, the performance and precise handling is exhilarating.

The perfect car for me. I have always wanted an XLR. Cadillac convertibles are my weakness. I have had several and none disappointed me. I am 82 years old but with this car I feel 28. Every thing about it pleases me It. It has a black interior and a black exterior just like the Cadillac convertible I purchased in 1972 and still have.

I have been driving a 2005 for 10 years. I have driven across country 3 times. The ride is smooth and comfortable. Handles like a vet, but is Cadillac comfort all the way. Picking up my new 2006 tomorrow. Looking forward to another 10 years of fun!
