Awesome car. 2007 Base in 'passion red' # 225 of 250. First roadster I've ever owned, so I can say its the best I've ever owned. Purchased last year with 98k miles and the car runs and drive like new. Everything works (for now) its been a lot of fun getting to know it.

I love my 2008 XLR. Leased it new. Lease was up so I thought they wanted too much money of course so I left it at the dealers and rented something else. We were in Florida and I saw one in a showroom. Went to look at price but it was sold. Looked at a listing for one in the area, and there was my car, mileage, vin number etc. so I called and asked if it was a former lease. Yes. From Colonial Cadillac in Danvers Ma. Answer: yes who is this. I explained and he asked me what the dealer wanted. They must think women can be rolled over. My answer was the same xxxx price you have it listed for. So NO. I went to test drive it and they were giving away Starbucks gift cards. It was so sad. My dog ran right over to the car whimpering. It took about another month with no wiggle room. BUT I called said I was leaving for Ma next week, last offer and have a nice life. I of course was lying, told me the car was mine and spent 2 more months in Fl and shopped it back home where it gets used infrequently with the to down.

I have owned two xlr' s to date and now planning on moving up to the V. Procrastinated several years considering the cost of the higher-octane fuel required by the V. Retired now so don't plan to drive so much, I am going to keep the 2007 limited edition base (250 made) I have now so I can still ride in stile on regular gas. The 2007 has 63K on it I have put brake pads on the front and replaced the AC compressor. You would do that with any car. The top is an engineering marvel. Everyone who has commented on the car thought it was new, OK, maybe not everyone, there are a few who know the car, all are envious. Such a hoot coming out of a store knowing you get to drive off in the best-looking car in the whole parking lot. Fun to drive is a gross understatement. For me, there was no need to put the super charger on this car. At a buck thirty, I got scared of what would happen if I hit a deer, it was still climbing when I backed out of it. I also have the 2002 red with black interior Eldo.

Luxurious convertible sports car. Similar to a Corvette C6 repairs can be expensive though. It's fast and definitely an eye catcher. Plenty of leg room and parts accessories are available through Amazon.

It has been about 4 years since I purchased my luxury SUV from them and everytime I go there for service, the job is always done effectively for a marginal fee. Recently, my truck couldn't move forward and backward and I had it towed to them. To my big surprise, I had it back yesterday (11/20/19). While I was expecting a monster bill, to my big surprise, the invoice was zero. When I asked why, the answer was: " What was done, only required a nominal charge", and as a customer, that charge was fully discounted. In my opinion, any other place would have charged at least $2,000.00. Thus, with that experience, coupled with many others, I am proud to recommend BAS to anyone who's purchasing or servicing a motor vehicle. This is a Cadillac, inside and out. Mine is beautiful, well kept, super low mileage (CAUTION) and mechanically sound. CAUTION on the mileage...mine was so low, it still had the original tires on it!! 24 year old tires don't last long on the highway - dry rot. If the tires are original, I wondered what else do I needed to worry about. Took it to the Cadillac dealership in town (I live in a very small town) and no one there had seen one much less worked on one. Another problem to overcome. Be ready for some expenses that could have been avoided if more knowledgeable mechanics aren't available or used because there are a lot of 'tricks' or 'secrets' to know or learn about this car. Internet resources are great, but some mechanics are too proud to consult others. As with any older (or newer) used car, don't be shy about pushing every button, working every switch, raise and lower the convertible top (multiple times!), know what works and what doesn't - trust no one on their word in this regard. It may sound silly, but I've actually thought about hand-washing the car before buying it (you'd be surprised what you see when you do that - so much more than just walking around while the seller 'chats' with you). Still, I'm happy, I really like the car, it's a great drive and definitely a head-turner. Love the sound of the V8 when it idles... it's right out of a Tim Allen comedy routine - MORE POWER!! :-)

I have been driving a 2005 for 10 years. I have driven across country 3 times. The ride is smooth and comfortable. Handles like a vet, but is Cadillac comfort all the way. Picking up my new 2006 tomorrow. Looking forward to another 10 years of fun!

I’m 60 years old and owned at least 50 cars from low end to high end cars. This car is the BEST vehicle I’ve ever owned it has it all good looks, awesome performance, all kinds of luxury appointments, superior ride especially for a roadster, roomy I’m 6 4 230 and have ample room. Convertible top works flawlessly and hardly any road noise. I will always own at least one of these until the day I die. Absolutely love it!

I have had a 2004, 2007, and 2 2006 XLR's. Currently have a 2006. Never had a major issue with any of them. Finest cars I have ever owned.

Everything was handle promptly and professionally . It was an emergency repair that was completed in less than an hour. Staff was outstanding in all aspects from appointment setting to repair.

The car was great for my wife and I. Now with the kids growing up we must downsize so we can purchase additional vehicles. I hate to let it go....
