Service department. They were very very busy when I came in. They were very respectful and helpful, they got me an appointment even though they were out a week or 2. Not their fault they are busy with business. They were very kind and helpful with my issues. They discussed prices before performing anything on my vehicle. Highly recommend. 3rd XT5 have had no issues with '19 & '21. Current our '24 is experiencing automatic braking and cruise control issues. The vehicle is in the shop to be fixed. This issue has caused crashes. Our experience was shocking with the system slamming on the brakes while moving. Ido hope Cadillac gets this issue corrected. We are very apprehensive when driving and will be since this occured.

I have owned Mercedes GLS, Lincoln Navigator, Infiniti QX80, and now Escalade ESV. The Escalade has been my favorite. I now have 120,000 miles on it and have only had to replace shocks. Electronics work beautifully, it is unbelievably comfortable, and there is nothing like the looks of an Escalade! My only complaint is the well-known 1st to 2nd gear occasional kick from the transmission. Dealer has looked at it multiple times (flushed & reprogrammed) with not much luck. 2WD most of the time and throw it into Auto 4WD when Ohio winters hit and this thing eats snow and grabs the road like you wouldn’t believe. Have never even switched it to 4High or 4Lo. Well done, Cadillac!

Good interior quality, beefy, spacious and well built. Predictable handling in all weather and road conditions. Not so comfy but your ride is always safe. Regular maintenance is not so expensive.

This is my second XT5. Had a 2017 and never had a problem. Just got my 2023 XT5 Sport, and wow, maybe too much power for a senior citizen, but I love it. A few changes from the 2017, but love the car. I put other vehicles like the Jeep or GMC as beasts, my XT5 is more like a cat, still get where I want to be with luxury.

To start with, these folks are quite selective about their inventory, so they only sell good quality cars. On top of that, they are so friendly, honest and reasonable that you feel more like you’re buying from family than from a used car salesman. Also, they stand behind their cars with a 30 day guarantee. Finally, I have never seen a cleaner used car then the one my daughter just bought there!

I Had an excellent experience, start to finish. This was my first time there for service, and Brad took great care of me. I also met Ricky from sales, who was very friendly and helped me pass the time by just talking about fast cars. Then I decided to buy some all weather mats for my car from the parts department. The gentleman who helped me (I wish I could remember his name) went out of his way to get me an online savings offer, and then took the mats to the service tech to have them installed for me. We discussed with friends a solid American vehicle to serve as a daily driver and saw good bones with the distinctive exterior/interior design and technologically advanced XT4 Sport (20” wheels). The 2.0-liter turbocharged engine handles everyday driving and quick passing maneuvers without issue. The 9-speed automatic transmission is generally smooth but does seek the perfect gear, particularly in low-speed traffic. For many, the OEM setup may be just fine, however, we opted to “refine” a few of the Luxury & Sport options that the original owner passed on (we're the 2nd owners) and now enjoy climbing into the cockpit of this daily transporter! I have driven this car, as a daily driver, for the better part of a decade. I am not the first owner; I’m actually the 7th! It has been all over the country, I myself driving it from Florida to North Carolina quite a bit, to city driving in DC and NYC. Reliable platform, great power, the mid gate has come into use for all sorts of loads, from cutting down trees to stone and brick. Your going to sacrifice mpg, but you should already know that if your buying a V8 6.0 liter. As far as repairs, usual wear and tear, plus this was the first year for this truck, so a surprising amount of parts are not interchangeable with the avalanche or other GM platforms. The cost for repairs depends on the mechanic and the shop; the parts are up there a bit, but cheaper than my Lexus. Still worth it, I drive this vehicle all the time. The gmt 800 platform is outstanding. I noted “having fun” as a primary use, but I use it for almost every option they had listed here.
