Switched from a BMW 5 Series to the Cadillac XTS. It is far superior than the BMW and Jaguar XJ previously owned. Both of those foreign extractions were money pits. I purchased the X with 66,000 miles on it and have not experienced the failures other reviewers have lamented so I question the authenticity of their review. The XTS is, in my opinion, one of the most alluring cars on the road today, 2023. It has great presence and commands attention. By far the best car I have ever owned and its reliability has not disappointed. The Platinum trim interior is exquisite. It did, afterall, win Ward's 10 Best (automotive) Interiors of 2013. Definitely a keeper. Get one.

In my 20s, I had a 2005 Cadillac CTS in red. It was a wonderful car—super fast, and I loved driving it. It was both sleek and powerful, and honestly, that car was my world. I regret not keeping it, even though it needed thousands in repairs. Fast forward to today, and I have another Cadillac. She’s beautiful, but she’ll never be my first love.

Overall, very satisfied with our Lyriq. Beautifully designed and mostly trouble free for literally a brand new vehicle with brand new technology. Solid and comfortable. One complaint is that super cruise works sporadically. One day on a certain stretch of highway, It works fine, the next day,not so much. What’s up with that? Would also love to see more than a measly six month trial on OnStar. Unless you pay for an OnStar subscription, you can’t track your vehicle through the app or even start it from the app. Come on Cadillac you’re not Chevrolet, you can do better, especially for this important vehicle.

I bought a used 2015 Yukon from them with 40K miles. On the way home, I saw that he right taillight was not working. This is a $750 part. I drove back to the dealer, they pulled the car inside and said that they'd have to order it but "no charge". I came back a week later and they installed it for free. I had bought the car with no warranty but they still made it right.

Stopped in to look at a Honda Civic I saw on cars.com. The salesman, Joe, was friendly and patient. He showed me a couple other vehicles that fit my criteria. I actually purchased my 2014 ATS 2.0T awd Luxury on eBay in Sep of 2019. The car had 55k and I won the auction at $8400! So for me, this was, and remains the best purchase I’ve ever made. Despite having a salvage title, the car looked great, and performed flawlessly. I’m currently at 112500 miles and I’ve only had to replace the radiator expansion tank (common issue easily resolved for less than $150 and under an hour DIY. My experience was $88 parts and 30 minutes to replace.). When it came time for brake pad replacement, I decided to switch out the 4 rotors for drilled/slotted, but this was just to get a sportier look, all it really needed was the brake pads replaced. I’ve changed the oil every 4 - 5k miles with Mobil1 full synthetic. Just remembered that I had to replace the CUE screen as well, this was $120 parts and 90 minutes DIY. Plenty of YouTube videos to walk anyone through it. As of right now, the automatic transmission is shifting somewhat hard, both up and down, and this seems to come and go. My plan is to have a local shop do a transmission flush and replace the filter. Hopefully that works. The other issue that seems to come and go is the mixing box for the front passenger vents, sometimes it only blows hot air. Overall, I’ve been very happy with my ATS. At the time I purchased it I was just simply looking for a somewhat sporty all-wheel-drive vehicle so I could go visit my son in Colorado during snowboarding season. My car is made several trips up there and handles excellent in the snow. Overall, I love the look of the car from every angle. My example is Red Obsession Tintcoat with Black wheels. I deleted the chrome trim around the windows using plasti dip. This was a personal preference, I then added chrome, spike style lug, nuts, lol to accent the door handles. This car has been wonderful to me and these five years of ownership. Pros: Appearance Performance (Beat a 2017 Hemi Charger equipped with exhaust and several bolt ones.) Reliability Brand Recognition Comfort for driver and FRONT passenger Cons; Premium Fuel. (It says recommended, but the consensus from all the owners forums is to only use 91 minimum. Standard headlights weren’t enough for me. I replaced with LEDs for under $100 on Amazon. Rear passenger access/egress and comfort is lacking, despite having a four door sedan. No spare tire. Sticker price of 40 K when new in 2014 seems more than a little high, definitely worth picking up a used example. Maybe you’ll get as lucky as I did.

Got a 2013 about a month ago with 60K in nearly perfect condition. I have spent some time and money fixing little things - these cars are complicated and loaded with delicate technology. The CUE radio has been replaced, as has the electronic dash - which are both a very nice feature but are known to fail. It drives beautifully, has tons of room, is a fantastic value proposition, and looks very nice. The overall finish is very high and of very good quality on these cars. The owners complaining here are the ones that drive them hard and the only attention the car gets is when they drop it off to the dealer for something and then agree to fix things. Plan to spend a lot of money keeping one going if this is you. If you can do most things yourself, and keep it properly looked after, it's typical of any common luxury car. They ALL have their quirks. If you really wanted a toyota or a honda economy car then this isn't the car for you - go buy one of those, you'll hate owning one of these. Me? I just love it! Next costly maintenance is the magneride suspension - it does wear out, and typical engine cleaning - valves, injectors, plugs, etc. All fluids are new, brakes are new, tires are new. Everything is expensive for these cars.

This is my 5th lease or purchase in the last 9 years. I get great treatment by the staff every time! Will continue to be a loyal customer.

I have owned many cars--both old and new-- in my lifetime and the only comparable one to this one is the 1979 Cadillac Seville I purchased in 1980. I was lucky to find a 2013 2nd Gen Luxury trim model with only 11000 miles on it last summer and hesitated because although it looked showroom new, it was 9 years old. Best buy I ever made--it has everything on it anyone could want and drives like a dream. Comfort, styling, convenience, power, and so far reliability. I wish I could find a new one, but the closest is the CT6 and it is not half the car.

I've owned this car for 4 years now. It is my 1st Cadillac and I just love it! The ATS is reliable no matter what the weather. It's quick and powerful yet, great on gas mileage. It has all the features you could ever want: 2 wheel, or all wheel driving, heated seats, heated steering wheel, sunroof, programable garage door button, sync cell phone for hands free, push button start, remote start, can even start car from Google/Alexa. Has standard Apps on touchscreen for NAV, Weather, OnStar and Pandora (music). Love the sound quality from the Boise speakers. Despite all the features that I love; There are a couple of design flaws of the car: ATS has a sporty design, it is low rider. For sure it's a smooth ride, however it being so low you do feel all the bumps in the road and slowing down for railroad tracks is a must. I'm only 5'2 and have to step down to get into it. Anyone close to 6 foot tall will bump their knee or head getting into it. As for cabin room, it is tight quarters. This vehicle is not for the driver who likes to carry a lot of things in (their) car. The trunk is small and very little storage inside the cabin area. The front seat has standard small glove box, a small hidden compartment but still too small to really store & access everyday items like sunglasses, coins/change or cell phone. The biggest and most costly Con about the car is getting the headlamp(s) changed. You can't do it yourself, it's too tight of an area to get your hand in the light housing area. It's designed to where you have to take it to a mechanic and they will have to literally remove the front bumper to get access and getting this done is costly expense. Luckily the headlights don't burn out often, but it is a added expense to have in mind. Over all, it is the best vehicle I've owned and I have a wonderful experience driving my ATS and I will drive it until it can't go anymore, then I'll most likely get another!

Just a beast!! Just doesnt ride as nice as my Escalade and CT6 V BW. So much quicker off the line and from moving than my CT6 V BW. Kinda wish I got the electric blue over the darker blue but my loss. Gas guzzler but it is a beautiful car that is stylish.

My wife and I enjoy our XT4 and we have drive it over 19,000 miles in 11 months. People complaining about issues apparently didn’t test drive one before they purchased other wise they shouldn’t be complaining. Performance 8 Comfort. 8 Quality. 7 Exterior finish 9 Interior 8 Ride. 7 Quietness. 8 Nimbleness. 8 Handling. 7 Rear seat room 6 Over all for the value it’s a very nice car. The sunroof had a rattle - dealer repaired a loose clip - fixed - - dealership replaced its battery it seemed weak - replaced with a more powerful one. We have at times spent 7-8 hours highway driving found it very comfortable and quiet. Headlights light of the road ahead very good. In all a very good car. Sounds like some owners should have driven one more before purchasing one or maybe purchased a larger model. We have owned many much more expensive vehicles and this one is in the top ones we have owned. We are in our 70’s so its smaller size is great for getting around. We haven’t had any issues like their complaining about. We will purchase another one possibly a 2025 model.
