Our SRX has been awesome. It currently has >110K miles, and it is still going strong. With regular maintenance aside, we have really only had two significant repairs performed. The touchscreen went out at about 85K. Thankfully, our extended warranty covered that replacement. A few months later, I took it in for a slight vibration while driving. This vibration became noticeable at speeds above 30MPH, and it become slightly more pronounced the faster at which you travelled. Repair tech find that a coil spring on the passenger front strut assembly had broken. Service manager, service writer, and the technician/mechanic were all surprised, and they took me into the garage to look at where the bottom portion of the coil spring was simply gone with clear break line showing. There was no indication of how or why it broke, but our current theory is impurities or maybe air bubble(s) while they were casting the spring. Motor & transmission have been solid. AWD system has been great, and it handles the winter snow & ice quite well. The 3.6L, naturally-aspirated motor performs decently. One must take that with a grain of salt, as it can easily seem slightly lethargic when compared to the slew of slightly newer cars & SUVs that are now coming out with some kind of forced-air induction (turbo(s) or supercharger). All things considered it is a solid performer. Ride quality is good. Handling is better than expected. It lacks features like Apple CarPlay, but it does support basic Bluetooth connectivity. Audio quality is better than your average vehicle, and the on-board microphones make it easy to hold phone conversations at any speed. The dual, rear seat DVD screen option is a rarity, but it is great for anyone with kids. The included Bluetooth headsets let your kid(s) listen their DVD while you listen to something else. It also comes with a "simplified" remote control which allows them to navigate menus and perform normal video functions (FF, REW, Pause, etc.). Another standout option, in my opinion, is cooled/ventilated front seats. This was our first vehicle with this option. My youngest daughter & I are both in love with this option. Overall, I think the SRX is still (12-years and counting) an attractive looking mid-size SUV with a solid drivetrain and Cadillac-level creature comforts.

Owned several mid 90’s Cadillacs with the Northstar engine. The only issue is the engine. If you don’t service it and allow it to overheat, you’ll have to get it fixed. Head gasket issues mean don’t let the motor get hot. Make sure the water pump is working, fresh coolant and religiously change the oil. Concours is 300HP standard DeVille is 275HP These cars scoot. The larger Fleetwood from 1993-96 was an LT-1 at 250HP

I had an extraordinary experience at the Honda in Tarrytown. Initially, I received poor service from a Honda dealership in New Rochelle. I inquired on buying out my lease and the previous dealership stopped showing interest in helping me. I felt so defeated and stressed after receiving discouraging emails from the New Rochelle dealership. I took a few days to brainstorm on where to go next. I decided to call the Honda in Tarrytown dealership and expressed my concerns to the finance manager Jose. Jose was empathetic and apologetic about my experience at the previous dealership. He assured me that I would be treated with care. He stood true to his word. I spoke with one of the salesmen Anthony who was very professional and helpful. I made an appointment with him on Sunday to discuss financing options. Due to unfortunate personal circumstances, Anthony could not be present for our appointment. I did not mind and completely understand. When I walked in on Sunday, all staff members were so welcoming and friendly. Offered me water, tea, or coffee. I had the opportunity to sit with a kind gentleman, Bobby Zimmer. I was very nervous walking in, and Bobby has to be one of the kindest salesmen I have ever met! He put my mind at ease. He certainly was genuine, addressed my concerns, and was very detailed with me providing me with paperwork so I understood the process fully. Although I did not buy a new car, he made me feel equally as important as someone who was. This means so much to me. I have a ct6 platinum with super cruise. 4 years now bought used . I have driven it 60k miles. Not a single problem. Normally gets 30mpg with the 3.6v6 on highway about 24 in town. The car handles fantastic on any surface. I love it. Highly recommend it.

Recently bought a used CT6 w/2.0 Turbo (2018 with 39K miles). Have put only about 500 miles on it so far, but, WOW!!! This car is amazing! This car lives up to it's reputation as a builder of premium American luxury vehicles. My las t Cadillac was a 2000 STS...which was mediocre by comparison. It is soooo beautiful inside. I like that the screen is integrated into the dashboard. It's size takes a bit of getting used to, as my last car was a Mercedes E250. I test drove the 2.0 turbo and the 3.0, and found the 2.0 Turbo to be equally responsive but smoother. Exterior styling is simple clean and exudes luxury. I get so many compliments, heads turns and such. I love the Apple Car Play feature that projects what's on my phone to the in-dash screen. Recently did a road trip and got an AVERAGE of 33.4 MPG on the highway. I am getting 25 MPG+ around town. To me, that's pretty impressive for a car his size. In keeping with Cadillac's reputation, this car drives so smooth and quiet. Last time I drove a car this quiet and smooth as a Lexus LS460. At $30K less than the price of an average EV, it will take a lot of gas to make up the cost difference of those overpriced cars.

I had a new 2011 CTS coupe back in 2011. Loved the car and always regretted not keeping it. Recently bought a super low mileage 2014 and still think it is probably the best all-around car I've ever had. That includes Mercedes and Porsches. Terrific combination of ride and handling. Are there better handling cars? Of course, but they ride like a truck. The super smooth and quiet 318 HP V6 moves the car very impressively. The fit and finish in the interior is as good as it gets. I read a previous post where an owner was complaining about differential failure and that the diff had been discontinued. I think he is probably misinformed. A manufacturer cannot discontinue a key component like a differential only a year or two after supplying it in a vehicle. Federal law mandates that replacement parts have to be available for ten years after being used in a new car.

Having had my 2018 Cadillac CT6, equipped in the optional Premium-Luxury trim level, for nearly 3 years, I can honestly boast of its many attributes. It offers wonderful styling inside & out, the availability of virtually every current "high-tech" option conceivable, and has proven to be consistently reliable – and, while some may describe it as a bit “pricey,” it’s actually a relative bargain, when compared to its European competitors. The CT6 harkens back to the classic Cadillac sedans of years gone by, as its size, comfort, and luxury amenities remind owners and admirer’s alike, of many of those all-American classics. Although it's a pleasure to drive, even when equipped with the new and improved, 3.6L V6, the optional 3.0L Twin Turbo engine is recommended for those drivers who like a “little something extra” when depressing the accelerator pedal. With regard to performance, it is somewhat regrettable that an (optional) V8 is unavailable in the company’s “Flagship model.” This absence, I suspect, is a rather obvious "nod” to the so-called green energy movement that seems to have “infected” the entire auto industry, of late. In summary, if you’re looking for a full-sized American luxury car – look no further. The Cadillac CT6 “fits that bill, to a tee.”

I bought my 2014 CTS Coupe in 2015, and I don't anticipate getting a new car anytime soon. When I saw the car online, I loved the sporty look and design. I have the premium pkg. with black diamond coat paint. I've received so many compliments about it, and at 7 years old, people still stop me and love it. It's been very reliable and only been in the shop about 3 times, and combined, the service totals are under $1500. The 3.6 L scratches my need for speed, it has been to 140 mph without any concern. The Bose system is great, I love loud music which it provides. I love this car. It will make my next car choice will be disappointing I'm sure!
