3rd XT5 have had no issues with '19 & '21. Current our '24 is experiencing automatic braking and cruise control issues. The vehicle is in the shop to be fixed. This issue has caused crashes. Our experience was shocking with the system slamming on the brakes while moving. Ido hope Cadillac gets this issue corrected. We are very apprehensive when driving and will be since this occured.

Road noise is loud, Water leak in front passenger side during heavy rain or car wash. Engine noise that the tech can’t locate. The XT 5 is a very nice size SUV. For a high end vehicle the warranty should be better in length and milage..

I love all of the new technology, with the exception of Apple Car Play. I had a 2016 prior to this generation and was surprised that the gas mileage is actually better on the newer one. Bought the ‘19 in ‘18 off the lot at 90K- have never held onto a vehicle this long. I can not upgrade this model- better then the ‘23 thanks to world issues that affect vehicle manufacturing. Good interior quality, beefy, spacious and well built. Predictable handling in all weather and road conditions. Not so comfy but your ride is always safe. Regular maintenance is not so expensive.

I came in to look at a 2018 Challenger. The first salesman I talked to was Sean. He took down my information and gave me the keys for a test drive. When I pulled back into the lot, I started going through the car. There was no sales pressure pitces at all and Sean pretty much left me alone so I could thoroughly look at the car. Additional treatments and service contracts can be a potential minefield. Mike did a good job of explaining the range of options and we ended up choosing the set that felt right for our situation. Walter has upgraded its post purchase treatment process, (paint sealant etc) and they make the it easy, with a guaranteed loaner and home pick up if you desire. We were called two days after our purchase to schedule our appointment in the next few weeks. They work on salary, not commission. There’s no haggling over price, but they include a substantial discount from MSRP. So we felt like we got a pretty good deal.

I purchased my 2004 Cadillac XLR in 2005 with 5700 miles. It now has 55,000 miles. It's a very fun car, classy and reliable. The only drawback is parts availability. So few of them made and limited parts available. Especially body parts. Be prepared to pay high prices for headlights or tail lights. I wish more cars had been produced.
