I purchased a used 2021 model Sport and after being very impressed sold it in order to get a 2022 Sport with Super Cruise, which I absolutely love. I love all of the new technology, with the exception of Apple Car Play. I had a 2016 prior to this generation and was surprised that the gas mileage is actually better on the newer one. The ride is the best ever.

Absolutely love this SUV. beautiful in every way. after 88k miles there are only 2 negative things i can possibly say 1) the auto-braking feature while backing up will give you whiplash if somebody walks the vehicle but its a good thing just very violent. 2) she is the biggest thing on the road that you dont need a special license for which makes my wife terrified to drive it. she has definitely become a passenger princess in it which i kinda dont mind because i get to enjoy the joy of driving it all to myself.

Excellent mechanical upgrade from earlier series. Handles like a vehicle half its size with great transmission and suspension. Great ride quality and overall handling. Reliable thus far - 40K miles on it with one issue needed warranty replacement (starter motor). Unfortunately, the vehicle's overall ownership experience is marred by their utterly terrible CUE system. it is called "Cadillac User Experience" when it should be called "Cadillac User Exasperation". The system and touchscreen are about a clumsy as you can get - seems as if they were designed by engineers who never actually used their own creation. The CUE fails on several levels - the touch screen is overly sensitive and non-responsive at the same time (yes, we did run the "calibrate" function several times..did not help). Second, the system fails the "reasonable user test"; you cannot fully use front/rear controls, traffic controls, vehicle controls without referring continuously to the manual (there is a separate one for CUE - a real joke). Basic functions work ok..once you try to do something slightly non-stardard whoa be unto you.... Third, the navigation system is frozen in the mid 2010's....the traffic calculation for trip time is plain wrong (yes, the XM traffic information source is connected)....this is supposed to be a top-of-the line Cadillac in 2020!! to hire someone from Audi/BMW or somewhere else to show you how to do it...simply inexcusable for a "best effort" vehicle from GM in 2020 model year, let alone 2023! Lastly, the front seats have more adjustments/controls than you can count, yet the seat are uncomfortable over long distances - (yes, a separate indecipherable manual!)...also with the seats, the heat/cooling ventilation is less effective the the first Escalade we owned (a 2007 model)....way to go Cadillac. A very good vehicle that should be MUCH better given its cost and supposed statement of the BEST that GM can do for its vehicle type...FYI..we did have the premium version...

I waited a few months before writing a review. Bought a truck back in May/June. Charles Harris helped me out when I came in to look at the truck the first time, he ran some numbers for me and I left. Didn’t feel any pressure at all into buying the vehicle, I left because I had a few others ones I was looking at as well. I came back about a week later, truck was still there and I had came back on time, there was someone else interested in as well. I had gave Charles a call ahead of time and let him know I was stopping but to make the purchase. The manager was also super helpful during the process. I believe his name was Phillip. After buying the truck, the check engine light came on while driving it home. I ran my scanner and found the issue, contacted Charles about it and he spoke with his manager, they had me bring it in the next day and took care of it at no cost. I was afraid they would pull something on me but no issues no back and forth, they took care of me. It’s been a couple of months with having the truck now, no issues with the truck and no complaints.

Good interior quality, beefy, spacious and well built. Predictable handling in all weather and road conditions. Not so comfy but your ride is always safe. Regular maintenance is not so expensive.

The 2023 Cadillac escalade is absolutely beautiful, it has more features than anyone needs, (which makes it fun) Nice technology. Beautiful interior finish, beautiful exterior. The only downfall was on delivery we had a cut in some leather that GM stated was not a factory cut and they would not cover it, as well as a scratch in the window that they did cover. I find it frustrating that they so easily can deny any damage to the interior even on the day of delivery! The part is $1500.00 for a small piece of leather armrest, thank goodness Hansen motors in Brigham City were amazing and stated they would take care of it. We love the car, I just wish the Big GM would be a little bit more proud of their delivery and do a little better on the Pre-delivery and have ownership when something maybe wrong.

Julie the service representative is always excellent. But now I have a vibration in the front of the car after getting to 50 miles an hour. Not sure why but if I bring the car in it is going to cost my another 3k every time I bring the car in it cost me 3k or more.

My wife's car is a 2019 XT5 premium purchased new and now has 60,000 trouble free miles, still looks and drives like new. I needed another vehicle that was practical and luxurious. I found a fairly loaded used 2022 XT6 premium with average miles, negotiated what I thought was a very good deal and purchased. Same engine as my XT5 but a softer ride and great features, very quiet and comfortable. Bose sound system is excellent and vehicle has plenty of utility. I was surprised at the depreciation for such a nice SUV, maybe I just got lucky being in the right place at the right time or maybe because it was end of December and dealers want to move inventory by years end, anyway great SUV, I am very happy so far.

Professionals all around who made the process easy for multiple car purchases. I do a decent number of commercial/business vehicle purchases (8-10 vehicles/year), and these guys were great at cutting through the noise to get to our target and not waste my time...and with no surprises. Their consistently great inventory helps too -- kudos to the folks who manage their allotments from GMC. Great vehicle loved it all 10 yrs I owned it however this specific vehicle in port Huron at Cawood Honda is garbage. Good deal if there wasn't over $2000 in repairs needed to drive it off the lot. Being a mechanic I suggest not buying it.

Despite some initial hangups, we were able to work together for a Deal that worked for everyone. This is the third vehicle that I have purchased from country Chevrolet and we’ll see what the high degree of probability and honesty. Things I love: SuperCruise, quiet ride, independent suspension, other innovative tech features. Cadillac is ahead of most Euro brands and all American brands when it comes to the technology they have put in this vehicle. Really eager to see how UltraCruise works and I hope it can update 2022 models. Things I don't love: Low power compared to Euro brand large SUVs. Interior is close but not quite as nice as the higher level Range Rover and Mercedes SUVs. The new model is actually slower 0-60 and through the slalom than the last model that ended in 2020. The list of constrained items seems odd. Monochrome badges? Not many semiconductors in those I don't think. Other items too that are more understandable, but I would have liked some notice and the opportunity to wait for them. Instead, the car just shows up with whatever they had in stock that day. The window sticker is like a scratch-off. What features did I win??? Things I absolutely hate: Why put radio controls on the steering wheel if I can't use them while driving? Why not use that space for something that I can use while driving like VIRTUALLY EVERY OTHER MENU in the infotainment system? Isn't that the point of putting something on the wheel? Climate control perhaps, which I have to look farther down and take my hands off the wheel to adjust anyway. Why disallow me from selecting a song while driving in the first place, either on the wheel or the main display? What's my option, remove my hands from the wheel and pick up my phone and look at it while driving? Unbelievably poor "safety" decision there, GM, assuming people will just accept the restrictions and completely failing to understand human nature. Every person who causes an accident from looking at his or her phone because they couldn't pick a song from the display or the steering wheel while driving in one of these cars is now kinda on your watch. Every car I've had since 2007 has allowed me to select songs and navigate music while driving, including my 2016 Escalade, all from the steering wheel, where I don't have to look down too far and can keep the road in my vision, and KEEP MY HANDS ON THE WHEEL. Do better. In fact, remove this ridiculous unsafe restriction in a firmware update and make your existing cars like every other manufacturer out there. Oh, and don't blame Apple CarPlay. I don't use it, don't have it turned on, have it locked on my phone, and I connect straight to the car with Bluetooth. It's not them, it's you. (And using Apple CarPlay doesn't allow that function either, so I can't get around the restriction by engaging it.)

Our ESV is my wife’s daily driver and grandson hauler, and it’s proven to be an incredible vehicle for family road trips as well. 46k miles, had a couple of the common issues (trans shudder, CUE failure), but Dimmitt Cadillac provides fantastic service and overall, the ESV is very reliable. Nicely equipped with tech and safety, the interior still looks new, V8 power and 21 mpg at 75mph loaded with people and luggage, and a smooth, quiet ride that just soaks up the miles.

Beautiful car. In great conditions and overall luxurious. Definitely what I was looking for minimal mileage and a fair price. Great for its made year.

Test drove several models and found that the Platinum Luxury model was fitting for me since I didn't like the sport models all blacked out. The 2023 model is very classy looking yet gives you the presidential feel from the inside. Worth the money to see it turns heads!

Our SRX has been awesome. It currently has >110K miles, and it is still going strong. With regular maintenance aside, we have really only had two significant repairs performed. The touchscreen went out at about 85K. Thankfully, our extended warranty covered that replacement. A few months later, I took it in for a slight vibration while driving. This vibration became noticeable at speeds above 30MPH, and it become slightly more pronounced the faster at which you travelled. Repair tech find that a coil spring on the passenger front strut assembly had broken. Service manager, service writer, and the technician/mechanic were all surprised, and they took me into the garage to look at where the bottom portion of the coil spring was simply gone with clear break line showing. There was no indication of how or why it broke, but our current theory is impurities or maybe air bubble(s) while they were casting the spring. Motor & transmission have been solid. AWD system has been great, and it handles the winter snow & ice quite well. The 3.6L, naturally-aspirated motor performs decently. One must take that with a grain of salt, as it can easily seem slightly lethargic when compared to the slew of slightly newer cars & SUVs that are now coming out with some kind of forced-air induction (turbo(s) or supercharger). All things considered it is a solid performer. Ride quality is good. Handling is better than expected. It lacks features like Apple CarPlay, but it does support basic Bluetooth connectivity. Audio quality is better than your average vehicle, and the on-board microphones make it easy to hold phone conversations at any speed. The dual, rear seat DVD screen option is a rarity, but it is great for anyone with kids. The included Bluetooth headsets let your kid(s) listen their DVD while you listen to something else. It also comes with a "simplified" remote control which allows them to navigate menus and perform normal video functions (FF, REW, Pause, etc.). Another standout option, in my opinion, is cooled/ventilated front seats. This was our first vehicle with this option. My youngest daughter & I are both in love with this option. Overall, I think the SRX is still (12-years and counting) an attractive looking mid-size SUV with a solid drivetrain and Cadillac-level creature comforts.
