I had just got this car and it's been to the shop twice, first 2 days I had it I loved it, the performance is great and the interior is amazing! I have the sport utility model and I love all the features and the sound of the xt5!! Over the week my power liftgate stopped working/ would only work at certain times, my check engine light came on reading codes about the camshaft and coolant temp not being high enough. I'm not sure what's going on, this might just be a me problem but over all very nice car, just alot of bells and whistles and specific dealerships to go through if it ever needs repairs.

I purchased a used 2021 model Sport and after being very impressed sold it in order to get a 2022 Sport with Super Cruise, which I absolutely love. I love all of the new technology, with the exception of Apple Car Play. I had a 2016 prior to this generation and was surprised that the gas mileage is actually better on the newer one. I have a 2017 XT5 that I purchased when I was in NC. I've had 2 previous SRs and have enjoyed every single one. The one thing that has bothered me most is after a while a rattling noise began in each one of them. I bought it new and had no problems until 2022, the air conditioner, the sunroof and 3 out of 4 bearings. I have lots of Mike's in it is probably the reason.... I've traveled from Florida to NC a few tines as well as Florida to Baton Rouge. I hope she's ready to go for another 89,000 miles. Love mine.

Things I love: SuperCruise, quiet ride, independent suspension, other innovative tech features. Cadillac is ahead of most Euro brands and all American brands when it comes to the technology they have put in this vehicle. Really eager to see how UltraCruise works and I hope it can update 2022 models. Things I don't love: Low power compared to Euro brand large SUVs. Interior is close but not quite as nice as the higher level Range Rover and Mercedes SUVs. The new model is actually slower 0-60 and through the slalom than the last model that ended in 2020. The list of constrained items seems odd. Monochrome badges? Not many semiconductors in those I don't think. Other items too that are more understandable, but I would have liked some notice and the opportunity to wait for them. Instead, the car just shows up with whatever they had in stock that day. The window sticker is like a scratch-off. What features did I win??? Things I absolutely hate: Why put radio controls on the steering wheel if I can't use them while driving? Why not use that space for something that I can use while driving like VIRTUALLY EVERY OTHER MENU in the infotainment system? Isn't that the point of putting something on the wheel? Climate control perhaps, which I have to look farther down and take my hands off the wheel to adjust anyway. Why disallow me from selecting a song while driving in the first place, either on the wheel or the main display? What's my option, remove my hands from the wheel and pick up my phone and look at it while driving? Unbelievably poor "safety" decision there, GM, assuming people will just accept the restrictions and completely failing to understand human nature. Every person who causes an accident from looking at his or her phone because they couldn't pick a song from the display or the steering wheel while driving in one of these cars is now kinda on your watch. Every car I've had since 2007 has allowed me to select songs and navigate music while driving, including my 2016 Escalade, all from the steering wheel, where I don't have to look down too far and can keep the road in my vision, and KEEP MY HANDS ON THE WHEEL. Do better. In fact, remove this ridiculous unsafe restriction in a firmware update and make your existing cars like every other manufacturer out there. Oh, and don't blame Apple CarPlay. I don't use it, don't have it turned on, have it locked on my phone, and I connect straight to the car with Bluetooth. It's not them, it's you. (And using Apple CarPlay doesn't allow that function either, so I can't get around the restriction by engaging it.)

I work the GM for a few years my dad retired from GM after 32 years I started doing mechanical work on cars my dad I picked out a Cadillac 2007 DTS for him and it was on the lot in 2009 when he went and got it didn't have any miles on it I told him to trim little trim the best Cadillac in the world get it you got it he had it from 2009 until he passed 2014 and then I paid it off for my mom and she kept her 2023 last year when she passed and then became my car it's a beautiful car I've never had to replace one thing except for a headlight and it's easy you do not have to take off the bumper you have to loosen it up and you have to turn the light on a slight angle to take it out and it comes right out and I replaced that ball twice once for my dad and once for myself turn out you want to take it off and then mechanic for 20 years of killings it is a beautiful car ride for the dream I love it I'll never get rid of it I don't drive in the winter time just to summertime !

We discussed with friends a solid American vehicle to serve as a daily driver and saw good bones with the distinctive exterior/interior design and technologically advanced XT4 Sport (20” wheels). The 2.0-liter turbocharged engine handles everyday driving and quick passing maneuvers without issue. The 9-speed automatic transmission is generally smooth but does seek the perfect gear, particularly in low-speed traffic. For many, the OEM setup may be just fine, however, we opted to “refine” a few of the Luxury & Sport options that the original owner passed on (we're the 2nd owners) and now enjoy climbing into the cockpit of this daily transporter! I have a 2013 XTS Platinum. I brought it with 46k miles on it. I now have 209k and had 0 issues out the engine and transmission so far. I want a newer CT6 or a 2019 XTS but I'm not in a rush because this car has been the most reliable car I ever owned

A clean record means fewer risks! So get your own Carfax. 2️⃣ Have the Car Inspected – They strongly recommended bringing in a trusted mechanic to inspect the car before buying. A small upfront cost can save thousands in repairs later. 3️⃣ Understand the Warranty – They made sure I knew exactly what was covered and what wasn’t so I wouldn’t be caught off guard with unexpected repair costs. Their Cars are "AS IS" so when you drive off its all on you. The 30 day return document is a formality that will not be honored. 4️⃣ Review the Financing Terms – They Explained that none of their advertised EV cars get the discount it is just a way to get people through the door but they explained my financing options, including interest rates, monthly payments, and any potential hidden fees, so there were no surprises. You will be told you can refinance your car later by their finance guy but Nas let me know chances are slim since their cars have a salvage title. 5️⃣ Take a Thorough Test Drive – Instead of a quick spin, they encouraged me to test the car under different road conditions to make sure it felt right. Additional Important Steps They Advised: 🔴 No Returns Policy – Once you sign, the car is yours. They emphasized doing all research beforehand, getting an inspection, and making sure I was 100% confident before committing. 🔴 Salvage Title Considerations – Many of their vehicles have salvage titles, which means: Insurance rates will likely be higher, and some insurance companies won’t cover salvage vehicles at all—so check before buying. Resale and trade-in value will be lower, and some dealerships won’t take salvage vehicles. Many banks won’t finance salvage titles, so you may need to pay in cash or use a lender that specializes in these purchases. 🔴 Check the Vehicle’s Value with Other Dealers – One of the best tips the manager gave me was to take the VIN numbers of the cars I was interested in and check with other dealerships to see what they would pay for it. Having owned 1 srx and 2 xt5. Now an xt4, I think it is the most appealing. My loaded sport has all the luxury and safety features. I drive it in sport for kicks, and 2wd for economy. If you don't need cargo space but like the xt5, go for it! Enjoy!

My wife's car is a 2019 XT5 premium purchased new and now has 60,000 trouble free miles, still looks and drives like new. I needed another vehicle that was practical and luxurious. I found a fairly loaded used 2022 XT6 premium with average miles, negotiated what I thought was a very good deal and purchased. Same engine as my XT5 but a softer ride and great features, very quiet and comfortable. Bose sound system is excellent and vehicle has plenty of utility. I was surprised at the depreciation for such a nice SUV, maybe I just got lucky being in the right place at the right time or maybe because it was end of December and dealers want to move inventory by years end, anyway great SUV, I am very happy so far.
