I just helped a very dear senior friend of mine buy a car here, Subaru Outback Limited and explained to the salesman (Dan) that this transaction had to go very smooth without stress as I was out of state so my help was coming both to my friend and the dealership via phone and e-mail. I have to say that not only did they have the perfect car for my friend Cathy, but we were able to do 90% of the transaction prior to Cathy ever getting to the dealership. When Cathy arrived, her new car was all ready, they took in her trade, she signed docks and she was out the door and on her way back home in only about an hour! Cathy said she was treated extremely well by everyone involved at White Bear Lake Subaru and just loves her new car! I actually purchased my 2014 ATS 2.0T awd Luxury on eBay in Sep of 2019. The car had 55k and I won the auction at $8400! So for me, this was, and remains the best purchase I’ve ever made. Despite having a salvage title, the car looked great, and performed flawlessly. I’m currently at 112500 miles and I’ve only had to replace the radiator expansion tank (common issue easily resolved for less than $150 and under an hour DIY. My experience was $88 parts and 30 minutes to replace.). When it came time for brake pad replacement, I decided to switch out the 4 rotors for drilled/slotted, but this was just to get a sportier look, all it really needed was the brake pads replaced. I’ve changed the oil every 4 - 5k miles with Mobil1 full synthetic. Just remembered that I had to replace the CUE screen as well, this was $120 parts and 90 minutes DIY. Plenty of YouTube videos to walk anyone through it. As of right now, the automatic transmission is shifting somewhat hard, both up and down, and this seems to come and go. My plan is to have a local shop do a transmission flush and replace the filter. Hopefully that works. The other issue that seems to come and go is the mixing box for the front passenger vents, sometimes it only blows hot air. Overall, I’ve been very happy with my ATS. At the time I purchased it I was just simply looking for a somewhat sporty all-wheel-drive vehicle so I could go visit my son in Colorado during snowboarding season. My car is made several trips up there and handles excellent in the snow. Overall, I love the look of the car from every angle. My example is Red Obsession Tintcoat with Black wheels. I deleted the chrome trim around the windows using plasti dip. This was a personal preference, I then added chrome, spike style lug, nuts, lol to accent the door handles. This car has been wonderful to me and these five years of ownership. Pros: Appearance Performance (Beat a 2017 Hemi Charger equipped with exhaust and several bolt ones.) Reliability Brand Recognition Comfort for driver and FRONT passenger Cons; Premium Fuel. (It says recommended, but the consensus from all the owners forums is to only use 91 minimum. Standard headlights weren’t enough for me. I replaced with LEDs for under $100 on Amazon. Rear passenger access/egress and comfort is lacking, despite having a four door sedan. No spare tire. Sticker price of 40 K when new in 2014 seems more than a little high, definitely worth picking up a used example. Maybe you’ll get as lucky as I did.

I just purchased a used 2016 Luxury Coupe 2.0. Love the driving experience and the styling/interior. 64,000 miles. The Kona interior with sapa wood trim is beautiful . Only problem so far is one of the HID headlights is going out, expensive to replace.

Excellent customer experience and great staff. They know their stuff! Professional and kind. The sales staff went out of their way to solve issues and create a solution that was acceptable for the buyer with a positive happy resolution.

I wanted this car... Value for money is excellent for this level. The twin turbo V6 is plenty powerful... The quality and attention to detail is apparent. Rides great! Handles great! Can choose between touring and sport mode mode ..sport mode tightens everything up and makes the exhaust note more aggressive..And it's American.

My first new car and Jack was a very helpful, down to earth and enthusiastic. He introduced me to a lot of new features on the truck which was very much appreciated. He wasn?t pushy, which would have definitely turned me sour.

oil change, repair tire monitor and purchase windshield wipers to about 3 hours. Work was done very well. Walser Buick is a very popular dealership and sometimes you have to wait a bit. All is well and I will continue to purchase vehicles from them as well as servicing them.

Car is great to drive, room in the front and back. Handles great on the highway. Looks as good as it drives- a must buy.

Christopher was an excellent sales consultant during a busy year-end with a more complicated sale that required shipping the vehicle out of state to a rather picky buyer (me). Compared to another dealer I contacted this experience was “night and day”. I’d definitely recommend others to consider working with this dealership at least for the sales experience. I particularly enjoyed the fact that Chris found another RSX driver amongst the White Bear employees to perform a brief road test of my eventual car to set my mind at some ease for a real-world experience. They also were fairly cooperative about most of my requests to “seal the deal” (minor touch-up/clean up items). My only suggestions would be to see about hastening the shipping experience if that’s even possible and put a bit more effort into detail of the car before listing for sale - the car had been in their hands for a couple of months and just needed a couple small detail items to make it close to perfect for selling a 20+ year old vehicle (these were the items I had to request at time of negotiation). Nice work overall - just looking forward to the shipper to arrive that will be a great day!

Elegant, beautiful, spacious, comfortable, rides like a dream, quiet, great sound system, responsive, simply a joy in which to drive or ride, large trunk and multiple storage places . Love this car!!

Bought a 2010 sedan. Has 170,000 miles on it. Absolutely love driving this car. Put a 60 hp Thorton chip in it. Woke it up! Already looking for second one. Not one rattle in it for as many miles as it has. Great value for the money and aton of aftermarket parts.

I loved my CTS. I owned a 2014 CTS 3.6 AWD. In my opinion, the 2014-2019 body style was not only the best CTS body style, but one of the best looking sedans ever! The drive of this care was phenomenal. Though I was not racing or a professional racer with my CTS, the acceleration and handling was out of this world. I would hands down buy this car again!

I have a 2013 XTS Platinum. I brought it with 46k miles on it. I now have 209k and had 0 issues out the engine and transmission so far. I want a newer CT6 or a 2019 XTS but I'm not in a rush because this car has been the most reliable car I ever owned

We had a complex car purchase and Luther Used Car Company stood by their word that they thoroughly make sure that they are doing their best to sell decent used cars. We were excited to find a Honda CRV at this dealership. However, just a month after we purchased the car every dashboard light came on and the engine failed, which was very expensive. When we took it back to the dealership, they paid to put in a new used engine. While doing so, they also fixed other issues they found in the process. They said that they wanted to make sure we knew that they wouldn't knowingly sell us a bad car and although that unfortunately happened, they did make it right. We are very thankful that we chose to buy our used car at Luther Used Car Company and we hope to honor them with business in the future.

I have the Sport AWD trim in Velocity Red. I’m coming off a 2015 Subaru Legacy Limited, which I loved. There is no comparison between the two cars. Even in sport mode the CT4 has a more comfortable ride. The Legacy’s cabin was a little roomier but the fit and finish on the Cadillac is top notch. Handling is much better too.

I normally hate shopping for a car because it’s such a pain. I saw they had a car that I was interested in and went there on Saturday and they were so friendly and nice and answered all the questions that I had and I ended up buying the car that day. I can’t say enough good things about this dealership and how they made the process so easy for me - I would definitely recommend this dealership!

I owned an '06 Cadillac DTS money green w/tan top all the excesseries, collum shifter. I loved that car so much I regret letting it go. The only thing an I mean only thing I think could be better on it, is if it were rwd. I swear to God I'ma get me another one!!!!!!

Got my CT5 about 5 months ago...it is everything I expect from Cadillac. Love the interior and the exterior style reeks of class and performance! The police have flagged me down only to compliment the car! I'm a GM girl and they continue to make me proud. LOVE my CT5! :+)

Got a 2013 about a month ago with 60K in nearly perfect condition. I have spent some time and money fixing little things - these cars are complicated and loaded with delicate technology. The CUE radio has been replaced, as has the electronic dash - which are both a very nice feature but are known to fail. It drives beautifully, has tons of room, is a fantastic value proposition, and looks very nice. The overall finish is very high and of very good quality on these cars. The owners complaining here are the ones that drive them hard and the only attention the car gets is when they drop it off to the dealer for something and then agree to fix things. Plan to spend a lot of money keeping one going if this is you. If you can do most things yourself, and keep it properly looked after, it's typical of any common luxury car. They ALL have their quirks. If you really wanted a toyota or a honda economy car then this isn't the car for you - go buy one of those, you'll hate owning one of these. Me? I just love it! Next costly maintenance is the magneride suspension - it does wear out, and typical engine cleaning - valves, injectors, plugs, etc. All fluids are new, brakes are new, tires are new. Everything is expensive for these cars.

I have bought a car from them for my daughter. The car wouldn't accept gas Bob told me to take it to their mechanics their mechanics found some stuff that was wrong with it and Bob took care of me as I was his own family. Really really really appreciate the honesty and how they took care of me and my kids.

I purchased this car about three weeks ago. I love it. It is so fun to drive and so comfortable inside. I will buy another one at some point.

I have had this car for 3 years so far. I love it! The car itself is very lively and can speed up very quickly. It is a comfortable car to sit in and while it is small that is why I bought it. The leather seats are comfy, and the seat warmers work well. It is great on gas mileage, and I find it does not take above 50$ to fill up. I commute to work daily, and this car is reliable and fun. I have had issues with this car such as the transmission wire harness needing to be replaced and the rear axle dif leaking and needing to be replaced. I also had an engine crank shaft house crack and that caused my car to stall. Other than these few minor issues it has been great. The car has a decent entertainment system but sometimes the CUE system lags a little bit. The electronic readings on my fuel MPG and my fuel tank estimate are wrong usually but they are about correct to the true reading. I would buy this car again.

Fabulous buying experience! Really impressed with their values and focus on the community. We had a problem with the vehicle within a month, and they fixed it (at considerable expense to the dealership). This was truly amazing. We would definitely recommend Long's Auto Place and will purchase there again.

Positive: Overall good car. I love the design and interior quality. Huge trunk. 10 years later still looks modern and attractive. Negative: Seats are very hard. Different from previous models. Cue system not very practical. I would prefer knobs and buttons. Glove box is unnecessarily complicated. Source of problem.
