I bought this 2500 3 years ago with the intention of building out a simple RV for regular and stealth camping. It did not work out due to bed height but what a great vehicle. This is designed for heavy use and for a personal owner, should last generations. The power is excellent, especially considering the MPG: 20-25 MPG in real world use. The handling is also surprisingly good, I've actually passed rental cars on windy roads. The view is beautiful and it is built in Germany and very well. It is not a wonderful tow vehicle as it is not body-on-frame but is rated for 5000#. So you could tow some toys or a small trailer quite easily. These are pretty stripped with only original equipment and there are few of these. You really do want the rear camera and some other stuff. Like other German vehicles, it adds up. When it comes to maint, this bus is the bomb, the oil change is easier than a motorcycle. Get the 4 cyl.

We rented one of these while in Iceland on a camping trip. It was tricked out as a camper van... what a great idea! We also got to drive one built into a Winnebago full on class C camper. Both were enjoyable but the styling and look is kinda boring. The front seats are quite short in the bottom and we're very uncomfortable on a long haul. The radio and dash were archaic and there wasn't enough plugs to keep everything charged. A lot can be improved in styling and comfort and ergonomics but these can be overlooked once you experience the power and great gas mileage.

I recently purchased a 2007 Honda CRV FWD LX at the Camp Hill location, with Barry as my salesman. He helped me purchase the vehicle as quickly as I needed, as I was in a pinch and liked this one a lot. However, I noticed it pulled to the right a bit while driving it. Barry offered to take care of the alignment issue, no questions asked. His mechanic Scott took care of everything and my car now drives better than any SUV I've driven in my short lifetime. A lot of these reviews I see are known issues for the type of vehicle they were buying, so I'm not surprised. I'd recommend this place and Barry/Scott anytime.

We have six kids in this vehicle fits our family perfect. The gas mileage is better than you would expect. It definitely doesn’t ride like a luxury car. However why do you give up in some slight road noise you definitely make up for in convenience. It fits car seats well. And I’m 5 foot 11 and can easily move around inside.

I NEEDED A CAR…I WENT ON AUTOTRADER AND FOUND A CAR I THOUGHT I MIGHT BE INTERESTED IN AT CAR NATION…I CALLED AND WENT DOWN TO MEET MIKE…MY PRIMARY CONTACT AT CAR NATION…AND TO TAKE IT ON A TEST DRIVE…I LIKED IT…I ASKED MIKE IF I COULD TAKE IT TO MY MECHANICS… WHOM I HAVE BEEN RELYING ON TO FIX MY CARS’ ISSUES OVER THE PAST COUPLE OF DECADES… TO HAVE THEM TAKE A LOOK AT IT…THE ANSWER WAS, “YES”…I PUT A SMALL DOWN PAYMENT ON THE VEHICLE TO SHOW MY GOOD FAITH…ALTHOUGH I WAS NOT ASKED TO DO SO…THE NEXT DAY I TOOK IT TO MY MECHANICS…THEY FOUND A COUPLE OF ISSUES WITH THE CAR…BUT NO DEAL BREAKERS…AND I ASKED THEM TO WRITE THEM DOWN…AND THEY DID…AND I WENT BACK TO CAR NATION AND SHOWED THEM WHAT MY MECHANICS FOUND…CAR NATION SAID THAT IF I STILL WANTED THE CAR…THEY WOULD FIX THE ISSUES AND I COULD PICK UP THE CAR AND TAKE IT HOME WITH ME THE NEXT DAY. THAT WAS FINE WITH ME. I bought the 2008 Chevy Express G2500 in May 2011 with the 2009 Roadtrek RV 170 Popular package added onto it. Fine performance from the 6.0L V-8. It has basic kitchen & bathroom, sleeps 3, with Onan generator, 3 water tanks, 30A RV power hook-up, water heater, 110V inverter, aux. battery, rear AC / heat pump, gasoline-powered furnace, 19" TV, DVD, small clothes wardrobe, ceiling fan, awning, plush seats, quite a bit of storage room, etc. It fits in a regular parking spot and is easy to drive. It only gets 14-15 mpg but that beats most RVs. It was expensive, but for all it does, it is worth the money. I plan on keeping it forever and making lots of camping trips across the country.

I have driven this vehicle for 14 years. We have a large family and it was perfect for taking kids to school, after school events, out to eat, you name it. Plus all the rear seats behind the driver and front passenger seats are removable so it doubled as a moving van. I was able to fit a queen bed in it. As far as performance goes, it has lasted a long time with regular oil changes. We have only just recently had the ball joints replaced in the front and serviced the rear A/C. If you find one that has had regular service and has been taken care of, it will probably last you 100,000 more miles.

I recently purchased a car the other day from Hampstead Pre-owned and have to say how easy the process was. My salesperson (Nemo)made it a no pressure experience. I told him what I was interested in, and he prepped the car for a test drive. When done I was asked if this was good or is there was something else I wanted to look out. He never tried to talk the car up or sway me in any way. When I decided to buy he finished up on his part and was passed off to finance, general manager and owner. Everyone involved (and employees not involved) were very accommodating and friendly. I'd buy again from them.
