After months of dealing with evil at big dealerships. I shielded their arrows and let GOD show me the way and that was Select Motors. Probably spent 30 minutes 15 minute test drive and 15 minute deal made. No 3 hours or more at big dealerships where they just push and push, lie, bait and switch. Your not even treated like a person at those places. Select Motors has an A+BBB rating. No complaints in 20 years. Outstanding!!!! Avoid the evil dealerships and go to a great buying experience at Select Motors. You will never go anywhere else to buy a vehicle again. I have my 95 W/T model I purchased from a doctor. TODAY the mileage just rolled over 118k. For that time, that was and still is 2nd best gen if chevy trucks, following the 67-72 models. Which I have a 67 short bed factory ac cab truck also! I didn't care the way the bench seat felt so I purchased used bucket seats and console from the 88- 94 era (same as the SS model) and I drive this truck over my 08 and my 67. It's a great "1st truck" for a beginner driver because it's dependable, safe, relatively cheap, looks tough with minimal money, and parts are everywhere if in case an accident does occur! You just can't beat the "OBS " chevy truck models! Buy one, try it out, just buy a set of wheels/tires and maybe 2 inch lowering shackles for the rear to set level and see how you feel just riding in town it it! I guarantee if you don't like it for some reason, you'll have-nots problem selling it!

I inherited my Dads 1998 chevy silverado z71 v8 4 wheel drive. Completely original no scratches dents or paint fading. It has been garaged all these years with 55,000 original miles. Great truck everything works.

I bought my 95 2wd ext cab short bed, 350,5.7 for 1500 dollars back in 08. it had 170,000 mi and now has 308.***. No leaks, no smoke, no knocks. basic maint & upkeep, still runs great. starting complete resto on it this year just to freshen everything up and bring it into the new age. . i love this truck and wouldnt sell it for anything. side note... if your gonna do anything to these trucks at all, do a 3-4 drop and run 275 /60/15 all the way around with a nice cowl hood and thats all you need. and ofcorse a stout rebuild of the engine and trans.

Here is a review of my start to finish process of buying a car from Gateway Classic Cars, Ft. Lauderdale: ----- 1. The sales people who you work with are not on site. They're working remote so they don't have eyes on the car. ---- So, 2. You'll want to be connected with someone on site who can start and drive the car, provide a walkaround video, pictures of whatever you want and give their input. I worked with Alex at the Ft. Lauderdale location for my purchase and he was outstanding with helping me to know the car before making an offer. He is the reason that this is a 5 star review. -------- 3. Hauling: They'll get you a quote for hauling the vehicle. I chose Nexus Transport myself to use. They were a bit cheaper and top rated by Forbes. That went just fine. --------- 4. These cars are all on consignment. So, I feel that you have to be a little more careful because you have another party who may not have disclosed things to Gateway. Best practice is to get a pre-buy done from someone like Lemon Squad. That being said, I was so comfortable with my deal, took the risk and waived the pre-buy. And in my case, the Prowler is a mint gem and I have no concerns after receiving it. Also, there is a common thought then you buy a car like this, you should budget 10% or so of the price for maintenance right after you get the car because stuff always comes up, otherwise, don't buy a used car. --------5. Since they're on consignment, they have commissions they charge the seller. As a buyer, I don't care if I see a commissions line on the purchase agreement. As long as my out the door number was what I offered, that's fine. --------6. I wired money to them and within a few hours, I had all the fully executed paperwork back in my hands. Title took about 3 weeks to receive by UPS. And the folder had everything I needed to register the car in my state. Wow! Thank you Barbara! ------ 7. So here is what breeds loyalty. Alex at the Ft. Lauderdale location made sure the car was completely ready to be picked up including accessories that were bubble wrapped. The car was supposed to be picked up at Noon on Saturday, plenty of time before they closed at 5pm. He stayed until the truck arrived...very late....AT 1:30am Sunday morning!!!! (Otherwise, it would have sat until Tuesday). I cannot believe he did that for me. I received my car loading video at 2am. That's unbelievable service that deserves more than 5 stars. ------- Summary: I'd have zero issues with buying from Gateway again....they just operate in a different dealership style than what I'm used to, which is just fine.

1993 Chevrolet Cheyenne pickup truck, 2 wheel drive. bought used in 2018. the former owner never took care of it. I ended up replacing the radiator, water pump, thermostat, shocks, gas tank, rear fuel lines, rear vacuum lines, rear acxle bearings and seals, axle fluid. transmission fluid. life time hd starter, alternator, coil, blackened runny oil, rear brakes and drums, front brakes and calipers. With all said, it was just over $3900.00 in 3 years. All the maintenance, i did myself. It was worth it! She is sweet and running good. with an impressive 21 mpg in city driving and 29 mpg highway. with the 34.5 gallon tank., The bench seat is a little worn, but, when your traveling, long or short distances, its still comfortable to sit in. The shocks were changed from the factory blue shocks to monroe magnums. Which gave her a real easy ride. After seeing some of the body damage, done, and replacing the radiator, I added and installed a chrome 3-inch bull bar. This not only protects the front end but also the occupants. Then I added a curtis hitch receiver and wiring kit. Both were easy to install. Last winter, 2021 i changed the oil to 10w-30, as it was a harsh winter. And she started every time! While i watched other employees struggling to start their vehicles. She fired every time. In the spring i went back to 5w-30. I am lookiing for another 1993 chevrolet cheyenne pu truck now. although the base model, has no air conditioning..and you drive at 2-40 (2 windows down at 40mph) you save more fuel without the ac, than you have one.

They were super helpful, but never found what I was looking for. Gateway said they would kept looking for me.

I love my Jeep Liberty. It’s so similar to the trailblazer I owned and loved. It’s in mint condition and so far has been a great running car.

Overall everything went well. The requesting of the original owner for the vehicle keys was never done as I was never notified of a reply.

This truck has everything I ever wanted it looks good & runs good I like the. Paint job and that there is no rust thank you for your honesty

Had three hundred thousand miles on it when I traded it in for my 2004 Silverado extended cab 4x4 lt edition it was very good on gas and had lots of power 5.7 V8 auto 2 wheel drive

I loved this truck. I really didn’t want to sell it because of the memories it holds. But I bought a new car and I just don’t have the time or money to refurbish it. I would love to see her brought back to her glory and driven. She was a great vehicle and would be a safe truck for the winter.

I can’t find another truck to replace my 98’ , I bought it wit 65k on it and now has 188k. I see a lot of 98’ k1500 trucks still out there and I know why, there’s no replacing it. Smoothest running truck I’ve ever had. My mechanics rave how lucky I am to have one. Sure it needs repairs here and there, but nothing major. I know guys that have 200k to 350k miles, and still running strong. Best truck ever !!

The '90-'98 C/K 1500 is one of the best trucks still available. I bought it used with a couple "codes" set. With basic skills, I addressed them both and have a great machine. Every part is available and inexpensive. Plus the looks can't be beat!

1995 chevy cheyenne 2 door 1500 5.7 liter V8 350 8 cylinders I get terrible gas mileage so I go to the gas station to get gas and this is true and I get a full tank of gas then I go straight home and when I get home I'm already down to a half a tank so I would recommend this truck but also I wouldn't recommend

I called a couple days ago to ask about the truck I wanted to buy and started working with Kent, who went over the Carfax with me then went out in the rain and cold to send me pictures of it. I got busy over the next couple days and didn't have a chance to make it in, and Kent was so polite and friendly in following up with me. When I finally made it in to look at the truck a couple days later, Kent was on vacation so Larry and Brian helped me with the purchase. I got a great deal, I absolutely love the truck and what I appreciated the most was the complete lack of high pressure sales tactics I've grown accustomed to expect from car dealers. 10/10 will be recommending Bickmore to anyone I know looking for a good deal on a good car or truck.

Great truck but with age comes problems and most common problem I’ve found is bad transmission and that’s among multiple trucks of the same year me and my friends have owned

My Dad bought the truck in 1998, needed a small amount of work to the speedometer, windshield wipers, and added Apple CarPlay, but anyways it’s mine for a couple years and it’s the best truck I could ask for, runs so smooth and the body is made of tough metal and feels god xxxx indestructible, unfortunately we’ll be selling it within the next year. Has just above 97,000 miles so it could definitely run for a good number of years after we sell it.
