Like all the other reviews I've read, a great car, fun to drive, comfy, quiet, peppy, good range. (All these based on price class, of course you can spend twice as much to get comfier, quieter, peppier, batter range.) A couple of points: hold out for the Premier trim level-- the view astern with the conventional rear view mirror is marginal at best, for safety on the highway and ease of parking you'll want the rear view camera display in the mirror and the other camera that help parking which come with the Premier level. A little scare with the charger that came with it- glitched out on me, and unplugging it and plugging it in again didn't fix. Took it to the dealership and it worked fine. Looking on the web later, it turns out that if the charger gets hung, you have to leave it unplugged for a few minutes for it to reset, which is probably what the trip to the dealership did. Only happened once, fine since then. Nitpicky- the charger is supposed to be mounted upright, cord down, for rain protection, but the 240 volt cord is too short to do that unless the 240 volt outlet is mounted upside down so the outlet itself catches rain. If you plan to mount your charger outside, plan on doing under some kind of overhang to protect from rain. Wheels can spin out with the great acceleration and two wheel drive, especially in rain. I've gotten used to the AWD of my Subaru Forester, so a bit of a shift. But Bolt is a xxxx sight quieter and a bit more comfortable than the forester. Bet the Forester get the front spot in our driveway in snowy weather.

22k miles in. Love this car. Electric. Check Comfortable. Check. Reliable. Check. Zippy, fast acceleration. Check. Best car I ever owned, and once you go electric, you don't look back. One note to buyers. This is a great commuter car, not good for road trips. Charging time is quite slow, and range gets much lower in cold weather, or with ac on, or using cruise control.

It was a normal buying process. It took about three hours. Cylus was a good salesperson. I knew exactly what car I wanted so that process was easy.

Great car for commuting and local use. Fast charging isn't quick but still practical for occasional long trips. After 1.5 years, not one problem. Fun to drive and quiet smooth operation. My first Chevy and I am impressed. Note that in very cold weather, EV range drops about 25%. This is true with most all EV's. This isn't an issue for daily use. For long trips, you will need to charge a little more often. In warm weather I get between 260 and 300 mile range.

This place is amazing! I first contacted another Subaru, and the receptionist listened and said a service rep would call me. We kept getting a warning light, which had us pulling off the freeway each time, and waiting until the light went off. Not particularly safe! After no response, I called Orange Coast, talked directly to the service manager who told me to come in, even without an appt, as the car needed attention. Steve Anderson figured out the problem, fit us in, and even found that the problem was covered under warranty. As I waited in their comfortable and welcoming customer lounge, I listened to the other customers talking to their service reps. It was evident that the different reps were universally well liked, and all the customers were really pleased with the work that was being done on their cars. As an out of town visitor stuck with car trouble, I am totally grateful that my car is fixed and safe for my long trip home. If I lived closer, this would be my trusted, go to service dealer! I’m 83 years old and this is my first EV. Yes it did take some patience and with the help of my grandson to feel comfortable to start with. We purchased it in November on my wife’s birthday in 2022. The first new car I purchased was a 1964 Pontiac. This Bolt SUV is one of the nicest new vehicles I have ever purchased. I really love this car and we’ve had a lot of laughs mostly on the charging aspect of it. But I’ll give it a five star on everything and hope we can drive it for many more years.

Although the car we wanted didnt work out, the customer service was excellent. MARCUS is a STAR! He should be in management. I have brought many mercedes in the past. Carmax is turning the tide when it comes to purchasing vehicles. The best thing to do when you buy any car is to take it to another mechanic, and then bring it back to the place to be fixed within the warranty period. The Truck I purchased from them a year ago had a few issues but they did take care of it and I've not have any problems since. Carmax has set the bar high for purchasing returning and anything to do with cars. BRAVO!

I see some negative remarks about range in cold weather, but here in California, I get a 300 mile range in the summer, and 264 in the winter. Third year of use, battery holds better charge than when purchased brand new. Used for Uber part-time.

2022 EUV Premier with sun & Sound and Super Cruise , I have the car one month and love it. I bought this EV to get around Phoenix area so not concerned about range, charges up over night even if down to 35%. Chevy installed the 220V plug no money from me. Car is really fun to drive, I'm getting used to one pedal drive to try max regen So far I have had no problems at 1500mi. Everyone that had rode with me has said they have never felt such a smooth ride. Did not want the super cruise but I was on a waiting list and someone backed out of this car. I have tried super cruise and it seems to work very well.

Have had our Bolt for a year and my wife and I love it! We ended up selling our ICE car as after three months no one wanted to drive it - hard to go from wonderful regenerative breaking to ICE "free wheeling" driving by brakes. One year and not any problems at all. Saved $1100 on fuel and it's now tax time so I can use my $7500 credit. Love Love Love it.

I bought my Bolt EUV in Dec. 23' and I am loving every minute I'm in this car. My wife has a new Kia Soul (with more add-ons than my Bolt) and the Bolt is a much better ride than the Kia. With the battery under the car, it keeps the car grounded while in motion. Bumps aren't very noticeable. It accelerates very well when taking off. I use the regen paddle (don't use the one pedal driving) to slow down and stop the car. People say it's a small car and I would say it's a tall car. It's pretty spacious. I charge at work for free and I live in an apartment, so I don't have any charging at home. I live 5 miles from work, so I drive basically 10 miles per day, so I don't have to charge for 2-3 weeks. I would have liked if the DC fast charging would've been better for road trips, but I'm okay with local driving. I'll figure out road trips if/when that happens.

I was having my car serviced. It was ready when they said it would be. It was also washed before I picked it up.

They have a really impressive selection of cars (mostly Teslas, but other EVs as well). They get new inventory on a daily basis and they have a lot of customers who are buying cars. I'd recommend checking out their website and finding a few cars you like, and then setting up an appointment to try them out. Nick was the car salesman that I worked with. He was very helpful, patient, and communicative throughout the process. I highly recommend you ask to work with him. He is in high demand but for good reason. You can tell he really works hard to do a great job for his customers.

There’s some issues / delays happening when it comes to releasing the vehicle. But all well is done and everything is taking care of. Thats how “Jonny Alcantar” Sales representatives he is. He make sure that his customers have 100% very satisfied and very happy. He’s very understanding, patience, and he’s absolutely gave his time to reply all the calls and text messages too. After 3 trips to the dealership we wound up buying the used 2022 CX-9 we had been looking at all along. We appreciated the courtesy, professionalism, knowledge of the product, and minimal sales pressure of Taylor, the sales rep. He went out of his way to help us before, during, and after the selling process. The only reason for our review's less than perfect 5 is that a follow up email to obtain contract information, and a postal mailing of an owner's manual were both forgotten resulting in us having to make needless 25 mile drives back to the dealership. These were promised by a finance person, not the sales person.
