Great car still 24 years later
This was the first car I had ever bought new, I've kept it. It was my main driver for about 7 years in all weather conditions. The only issues I've had with it was the O2 sensors/MAF sensor, the window motors (they're terrible) and a trans issue. Overall I think i sunk about 4500.00 in repairs over 16 years...until I stored it in 2015ish, after that well it takes a lot to get em going again which I did...but I do have 127,000 on it and the motor is perfect. its a fun car and now it's pretty avg for speed though back in the day best bang for the buck out there.

Dream Car
I gets the most attention of any car I have ever owned. And it is the easiest to maintain. Having a new drive train makes an classic car appealing.

Buy it.
At the time of writing this review up it has been an amazing vehicle to drive every day for close to 13 years now. Pros: - Most powerful and quickest of the "Big 3's pony cars" for the year of 2010. - If you want to drop a camshaft in this car the heads do not have to come off of the 6-speed manual LS3. Easy to make ~500 RWHP on pump gas. - The Canadians build this thing right and I have never had structural, engine, transmission or body issues. - Has a backseat; Corvette does not. Cons: -Rubber pieces of the interior wear away too easily over time. -Horrible visibility that hasn't been improved even in current year-model Camaros at the time of this review. -I have had to replace the air conditioning system twice, each time costing over $2000 at a dealership.

Almost 200,000 Km and 18 years of ownership
All in all it has been a great car and I have owned it since 11K, now almost 200K. Winter stored so no rust, I have driven it like a sports car and it has never let me down. 3 issues over 18 years. #1 was drivers side window motor (EZ replacement) #2. I've blown both front speakers, #3. One bearing let go in the rear end. It still has all the original bulbs even and only the second set of brakes, original clutch, exhaust still looks new underneath (about 8 sets of tires though). It is a pewter, 6 speed LS1 SS model Convertible and a rare sight. I've never seen one like it.

good and reliable
For a muscle car, it is my opinion that the chevrolet camaro is the best bang for the buck, Reliable and comfortable to drive. Gas mileage is not too bad also. I would also add that the camaro has a pretty good following and has a good resale value

Chevy Camaro's Rule!
My first car, and I loved it. 8 cylinder, 350 engine, glass pack mufflers, 4-barrel carborator. Lots of power, lots of fun, it was painted stock "metallic blue" and had as long a hood as a Corvette at the time. Wide white wall tires were also popular at the time. Bucket seats were good for comfort. Installed an 8-track tape player. No cassettes in cars back then! Fast and good handling!

Amazing car to drive what a blast
What a great car to drive. I beat on this 2ss constantly with absolutely no problems ever. As far as Evelyn and the blend door, you never have door issues if you don't drop pens or mascara and stuff down from the dash and jam it up. I haven't had one problem in 100,000 very very hard miles and 4 or 5 sets of tires. Overall an amazing fun car

An Unexpected Journey
In 1985 my father ordered a 1986 Z28 Camaro, without the IROC package. It had to have power windows, locks, the upgraded stereo and speakers, and hydraulic trunk/hood. The day he got the car home, he removed the governor and seatbelt warning system. Later he would go on to modify several other performance components of this car, and eventually store it in the garage the month before I was born. 16.5 years later I drove it to highschool for the first day of my Junior year. I've had this car for about 5 years now, and while it's had its ups and downs, I've loved it through and through. The minimalist design characteristics, finicky defrosters, and shaky plastic screwed directly to the metal may not particularly appeal to your average Lexus owner, but it's hard not to fall in love with it eventually. These cars rolled out of the factory pushing barely over 200 HP and a little short of 250 ft-lbs. They were marketed as street-legal racecars, and I drove mine as such. Its city gas mileage is something to cry about, its handling in snow is something to die about, but feeling the tires break loose after a wash on the first hot day of summer is more than just something to smile about. Driving my dad's racecar is something that I'll always cherish, and being able to say that we both made the same mistakes in the same car is a special feeling I'll always remember. I hope to keep mine and restore it, or buy another some day soon. I hope you get to enjoy one too.
