Traded in my 2017 Toyota Tacoma TRD for the Z71 and have only one regret. I should have bought the Chevy in the first place. It is a much better truck in just about every facet from comfort to technology to cabin quitetness to towing. Toyota Tacoma’s have better resale value and look better but For the money I’m more than happy with the Z71.

Great little truck! Good looking body style, nice wheels, well done interior, plenty of options including adaptive cruise control in Z71 model. Great alternative to full size pickup. Only one problem so far, module for backup camera has failed and is on back order, so it seems other owners have run into the same problem. Overall, great buy!

We just moved to Theresa from Florida 3 weeks ago. We did not expect to purchase a 2nd vehicle so early in our move. Matt Spencer was amazing. They had literally just took a Rav 4 in as a trade. In Dec.of 2014 i bought a second gen canyon slt long box. I drove that truck just shy of 200,000 miles and had pulled it another 30 thousand. My 2023 Colorado was made in Sept. of 23. being a later build I haven't had any of the early build problems. I love this truck more than my Canyon. The only issue I had was being shipped without the tool kit to change the spare and my jack was bolted to the truck with a nut requiring a wrench to remove it. I'm 72 and have been driving trucks (mostly chevy) since 1972

I have owned a few Tacomas and a few colorados and this new 2023 is the best! My Z-71 has great power and the ride and handling best the Tacoma and colorados I have had in the past! The new designed interior and exterior are excellent! Towing seems to be not a problem with this turbo charged four cylinder-The torque is amazing! Love the stowage in the tailgate and the sprayed on bed liner is a must too.Overall I would rate this new 2023 colorado as a five out of five!

I have had only 2 warranty issues. Both were immediately taken care of with no other issues on the truck. This has been the best vehicle I have owned out of 21 vehicles in my life. The comfort, power, features and dependability is why I gave it 5 Stars! I have roughly 59, 000 miles on it and I drive it every day. The gas mileage is 30MPG at 55 MPH!! I regularly get 23-25 on the highway at 65. Overall I get a real 16.5 in the city, and 24 on the Highway. My truck has been babied and kept clean at all times. No dogs, no kids, and I am happy with it.

Very nice truck. One problem is the key will not go to the off position when in park. This doesn't happen every day but way too often. Extremely inconvenient and apparently doesn't seem to be a solution. This has been happening to other chevrolet trucks since 2015. It should be solved and be put on a recall list.

I commute 700 miles a week in this truck. It gets good gas mileage and is reliable and comfortable. At 263,000 miles it is still going strong and my mechanic thinks I may get another 100,000 to 150,000 miles. It’s a great smaller-sized truck.

I purchased this truck before I read any reviews on it. I'm glad I didn't read them. The truck is very comfortable and fun to drive as my main vehicle to drive. There are a few quirks to get used to: raspy engine sound, headlight control on touchscreen, and a slight lurch right before coming to a slow stop. Overall, I enjoy it very much. CR has rated low for reliability, but I'm risking it. You can make any vehicle last over 100K miles with proper care.
