Had my C3 for 40 years now.
Had my C3 for 40 years now. Have yet to take it out for a ride that I didn't get a thumbs up or a comment from passer bys. Parts are available from many parts suppliers. The 350 engine parts are easier to find than my other cars. I am constantly told at a cruise in how it 's looks are better than most. Total enjoy my beautiful car.

I traded in my Dodge Challenger for something that gets better gas mileage. Let me say first that I was skeptical about trading in a car for fear of losing value. They saw that my car was very well taken care of and offered more than I was expecting for trade in value! 2004 Chevrolet Corvette Base review
C5 is a performer at a great price.
I had my 2004 for 10 years. Great car and performance. At 6'2" the C5 provides me with comfort which its predecessors do not. Only issues have been the ignition switch a common problem which I changed out fairly easily, and the climate control lighting which I fixed by resoldering the board.

I would only recommend this care for those who are willing to work on it and are okay with it breaking down. This care is nearly 40 years old (as of this review) and most of them with low miles sit and when driven the problems begin to bubble to the surface. So if you are unwilling to need to work on it but still want a corvette my suggestion is to get a c6 or newer.
