The Joe Basil dealership family includes a Classic Car dealer. I have purchased 2 classics from this dealer. Both vehicles were transported to Texas with transport worked into the deals. Both cars were bought site unseen - first time to ever do that for me! Sight unseen was quite nerve-wracking for me. I purchased a 1965 Ford Mustang from Jay at Thiel Motor Sales in DeWitt, Iowa and I couldn't be happier. Jay was easy to work with, very straight forward, and even met us on his day off to pick-up the car. The car is everything as it was described, if not better. We have taken it to several car shows and cruise-ins and are getting tons of great feedback on the vehicle. When I got there, the SUV that I had reserved to come see was being driven at the time, which I thought was odd because I reserved a specific time and day. So I got to test drive a 2020 Kia Sol, very nice ride, but not what I was looking for! The sales person was really cool and honest with me. Unfortunately, there wasn’t anything they could do for me. I really appreciated his willingness and honesty while helping me with my situation! It just didn’t out.

This is an everyday driver. Very comfortable ride with the added feature of light hauling. Awesome heater and new air conditioner. Great shape and reliable for it's age.

This car started its life as a rental car. It was rebuilt by a professional drag racer who put on an amazing paint job and graphics.

After purchasing my car I used their mechanics to make adjustments and replace parts. The work was well done. Attention to detail. Over the years, this will be my fourth early model car. I have always really loved and enjoyed the Chevy el camino. It's a nice cruiser on sundays by the nice beach or can be used to tow/ carry a load through the work week!

We live 5 hours away and Scott made it so easy with getting it financed as well as making us feel like family.
