I bought my Equinox new off the lot in 2015 to be my winter driving car. I’ve had it for 10 years, and have driven it 60 miles round-trip in some of the worst winter weather in the lower 48 states. The Equinox held the road well on ice, in slush, and in deep snow on days that I was on the road before the snow plows. It has always been reliable and has never left me stranded. I’ve had no major issues in over 107,000 miles. I appreciate the cargo space which is much better than the newer models. I regularly recommend Equinoxes to my friends and family.

I bought an Equinox 2.4L and it turned out to be great. My wife crashed it, but we traveled far away and it never let us down. It's very comfortable for long trips. Unfortunately, my wife crashed it, but the insurance paid us very well.

I have owned 3 Chevy equinox and I like the way it looks and handles. It is a great family vehicle and very comfortable and safe. All 3 of my Equinox were the Premier class well worth the extra money and more features.

I drove by here on my to another dealer. I didn't realize the dealership was there (not from the area originally) and I turned around to see what they had. There was no haggling, no debating, no arguing, no lying, no cheating, no stealing-all things you can expect at some dealers. These guys were all top notch individuals who I could hang out with all day every day. I felt a bond with Mitzy, the dog who kept trying to untie my shoes. Maybe she was persuading me to stay and buy a car? That's exactly what I did. I bought a three-year-old Jeep at a good price with a good interest rate. I wasn't expecting to actually buy a car there, let alone finance one, but I did and my wife is thrilled with her new Jeep. I highly recommend Lou Dominion's Deals On Wheels Benton Harbor location. If his two other locations are anything like this one, you won't go wrong at any of them. I also highly recommend Phil the salesman. He's the real deal, a genuine, honest to goodness human being. I want people to know what a great buying experience I had at this dealership. I contacted 4 dealerships about 4 different cars, and Yassin F. was the only one that contacted me by phone, instead of a "canned" email. Yassin was so helpful and ran all over this large dealership (in the rain) to make sure things were just right. I would use Yassin again 100%. I bought the equinox used and and have owned it for five years. It has been a great vehicle! Gets 25-29 mpg and plenty of room for cargo. Currently has 106K+. We've had no major problems with it. Had a safety recall on wiper blades ball joints. But that was resolved.

Jason in service took real good care of my 2018 chevy silverado. Bought the truck used from this dealership 3 years ago. Now comes the need for a new battery. Jason scheduled this and truck was ready in about 1 hour. Thanks again.

I recently got a 2020 Equinox and there's a reason you see them everywhere. It's a great car that gets (somewhat) decent gas mileage. There's just a few issues I have with it. I've had to ride in the backseat of my Equinox a few times, whether I went out with friends and got slightly drunk or accidentally let my wallet go through the laundry. The point is… every time I have ever ridden in the backseat of the car, I always hit my head on the part where the roof meets the door. I'm 5' 10", which is an average male height, and yet, literally every single time I've ever been in the back seat of my car or in the back seat of an Uber ride that also drove a new-ish Chevy Equinox or similar car, I've hit my head on the headliner when the car turns. I also frequently use this car to transport my younger siblings who don't have a license or are in the process of getting one, and some of them have the same complaint. There's also not a lot of leg room in the back of the car, and again, I am about average male height. Two of my siblings are also around the same height as me. Also, this car is only five years old and the ABS light is already on. Now, this is not a huge deal, but my mom had an older GMC Acadia that she drove for about a decade before any warning lights appeared on her dashboard. Her car's ABS sensor never failed. Anyway, all in all, the newer Chevy Equinox is a really good car and I can see why it's the #1 choice for soccer moms.

This review is for a 2.0 turbo AWD Equinox Premier that I bought new six years ago and put 95,000 miles on. Sadly, this 252 HP engine was discontinued shortly after I bought it. Only maintenance in its life were infrequent car washes, twelve oil changes, twelve tire rotations, four new tires at 66,000 miles, rear brakes at 72,000 miles, air and cabin filters replaced twice. I’m still on my original battery and original front brakes. It should be noted that I only use 5W-30 Mobil 1 oil and I change the oil myself religiously as the car tells me to, and rotate tires the same week. For disposal, I pour the oil back into the same container that it was purchased in, so I can say without a doubt that the car has never burned (or leaked) a single shot glass of oil in its entire life. I have never reset the odometer since the car left the factory, so I can say that it has averaged 26.2 miles per gallon over its life, terrific given the power that it has, though I will say that almost all of its miles are highway. That also explains why my mileage on my tires and brakes are so good. And I should add a comment on the auto stop/start that so many in here don’t seem to like. I love it.
