Love the look and features, hate the 4 cylinder. Has no power. Very comfortable, smooth ride, handles nice, easy to park. Just don't try to pass unless you have plenty of room.

Called my local Honda dealer Gene Stevens in the morning to service my Honda CRV for an oil change before I and my husband were planning a trip to Florida. Asked for Stacy Feller, got his voice mail and he promptly returned my call. He was able to make our appointment for the same day at 2:00 p.m. We dropped my vehicle off early and said we would be back for it when completed. My call for pickup that service was completed was even actually before 2:00 pm. Fast efficient and courteous service from Stacy always when scheduling service!!

I recently got a 2020 Equinox and there's a reason you see them everywhere. It's a great car that gets (somewhat) decent gas mileage. There's just a few issues I have with it. I've had to ride in the backseat of my Equinox a few times, whether I went out with friends and got slightly drunk or accidentally let my wallet go through the laundry. The point is… every time I have ever ridden in the backseat of the car, I always hit my head on the part where the roof meets the door. I'm 5' 10", which is an average male height, and yet, literally every single time I've ever been in the back seat of my car or in the back seat of an Uber ride that also drove a new-ish Chevy Equinox or similar car, I've hit my head on the headliner when the car turns. I also frequently use this car to transport my younger siblings who don't have a license or are in the process of getting one, and some of them have the same complaint. There's also not a lot of leg room in the back of the car, and again, I am about average male height. Two of my siblings are also around the same height as me. Also, this car is only five years old and the ABS light is already on. Now, this is not a huge deal, but my mom had an older GMC Acadia that she drove for about a decade before any warning lights appeared on her dashboard. Her car's ABS sensor never failed. Anyway, all in all, the newer Chevy Equinox is a really good car and I can see why it's the #1 choice for soccer moms.

Ron was a great help. He went the extra mile to help me not have to come back when there were some issues with their finance system (out of their control). It was good experience for my son who went along to see how buying a car works, and a great example of what he should expect.

I have done several long trips, 2 cross-country trips and in town commuting. It is a smooth comfortable ride, easy layout for gauges and controls, roomy, holds tons of cargo, and has great fuel economy (I have gotten up to 38 mpg on the highway going 70mph). All of these were listed in the "bad"- and this has not been my experience. Furthermore, my dad was side-swiped hit and run on the 210 freeway at 80 mph in his equinox and it took it like a champ. It is an easy smooth ride, I feel safe. I strongly recommend this vehicle- really the best bang for the buck- you get way more than you pay for.

I previously owned a Chevy Trax, which was fine when I received the vehicle. The blessing it was, sustained me for what was pertinent; now, I have been blessed with more responsibility; said responsibility warrants a bigger vehicle. This vehicle is perfect for my family of four; my mother's wheelchair fits perfectly in the trunk, and there's still room for my nine year old daughter, my mother, and my sister. Let me get started writing this review by telling you my experience with Ryan Gwinner. What a wonderful salesman. Not too pushy and gets the job done. I was unsure if I was going to walk into Matthew's Honda to get a car due to how scary it is to purchase a new vehicle. Ryan made my husband and I very comfortable by allowing us to tell him what we expected out of the car we were looking for and how much we could afford. He cared and listened to our wishes and met everyone one of them and more. I'm not the easiest person to handle, but Ryan was very patient. He answered any question we had about any car we asked about and didn't make us feel like we were bothering him. Did I mention he stayed over an hour after his shift to make sure we were successful with our purchase? He didn't make us hang around or go look for him to ask him a question, instead he was right by our side. He is very knowledgeable about any vehicle you may ask him about and will give you his honest opinion. To me honesty is everything! I've had one major issue with this car and it's concerning an air conditioning drain hose. I've had to have it drained and unclogged twice in 5 years. It has spilled water all over my floorboards and shorted out my radio and to me that is a design flaw in the car. I've never had any other car do that to me

Glbson pork was my salesman and did a very good job on putting the deal together and hats off to the managers they would not let me take the truck home till they do a safety check.it was a 11 year old truck but they treat you like it was new and after the safety check they found it could use breaks and struts they put it all on at no cost so I would recommend if you are in the market for a used car or truck this is the place.

After 4 years and 32K miles its been extremely reliable (tire sensor replaced), not a single rattle, and contrary to some replorts the 1.5L is more than adequate (cruse all day @ 80 MPH.

We purchased this car used from Hurd Auto Mall in Johnston, RI, with 1yr warranty. Unfortunately within 1 week of purchase we noticed driver door wasn't properly installed. Dealer refused to fix it. Will never go back to that dealership

I owned a 2001 Chevy Silverado 2500 for 23 years. I loved my truck and had no plans to replace it until a catastrophic experience. I am now leasing a 2024 Chevy Equinox from Sapaugh Motors and I am deeply and madly in love with it! It is comfortable, convenient and safe. After the terrible ice/snow storm on 2/16 I feel confident driving it because it did not even slip a tire traveling up my steep driveway. I could not be happier!!

I want people to know what a great buying experience I had at this dealership. I contacted 4 dealerships about 4 different cars, and Yassin F. was the only one that contacted me by phone, instead of a "canned" email. Steve Austin's is a great place to have any GM vehicle serviced. I purchased my Cadillac XT4 at a Dayton dealership, but have my car serviced at Steve Austin's for two important reasons: 1.) Great service, top notch service writers and technicians. 2.) Steve Austin's goes to great lengths to ensure your vehicle is properly serviced. They contacted GM directly regarding an electrical issue, corrected the problem and my car was fixed. The Dayton dealership was eager to sell me my Cadillac take the cash, but not eager to schedule my car for service. An oil change and tire rotation was 3 weeks out, no loaner cars available as I work and live in another city. They promoted written false advertising stating that they would pick up my car from my employer, service it and return it the same day. No deal when I called to schedule for service. I won't return to that Dayton dealership, but I will continue to repeatedly go back to Steve Austin's!

I have a 2024 Equinox RS model and it’s very comfortable and on the 2024 model it has all the latest safety features which I like. The RS model has a great red accented interior and also has a Bose 7 speaker system that sounds great, the new Lakeside Blue metallic color for 2024 is super nice.

I thoroughly enjoyed shopping for a car at the dealership. Dean Niederkohr was a great salesman and very helpful. I will return again when the need for a new vehicle arises in the future.

We bought 2017 Chevrolet Equinox 4 cylinder. Pre owned with about 59k miles. It’s over 110k and we’ve had the oxygen sensor and catalytic converter replaced. Also 1 tire sensor. We’ve put the 2nd set of tires on the car yesterday. Always Michelin as recommended and brake shoes. I just have to say I still love my car. It’s paid for and I’ll drive her as long as I can.

Traded in my Chrysler 200 for a Ram 2500. They were able to get me out of my trade that I wasn’t sure I would be able to get out of and made it possible for me to get the truck I wanted. Would shop and buy here again.

I owned this car for 10 years (2013 purchased in 2012). Spent less than $3k in repairs over those 10 years. With regular oil changes and good tires reached 135k miles comfortably and quietly. Buying a new Equinox looking forward to another 10+ years

this is my 3rd Equinox. I drove the prior 2 about 90,000 miles and had no repairs - very reliable. I have 25000 on this one - no problems - a comfortable drive. 30-32mpg on a trip and 26mpg around town. mine has heated seats and dual climate controls/ both work well
