2018 2.0T AWD with 172k miles on it and it is going STRONG. Bought it used with 31k miles. Zero major issues but I've maintained it religiously, oil and transmission oil changed regularly. Spark plugs and coils had to be switched out at 130k miles but that's expected. Transmission is running strong and still sounds as great as the day I bought it.

Willy, my service consultant, was kind, funny and got my checked in very quickly. Love the price point for full-synthetic oil change on my beloved Acura Hybrid...I'll be back!

I recently got a 2020 Equinox and there's a reason you see them everywhere. It's a great car that gets (somewhat) decent gas mileage. There's just a few issues I have with it. I've had to ride in the backseat of my Equinox a few times, whether I went out with friends and got slightly drunk or accidentally let my wallet go through the laundry. The point is… every time I have ever ridden in the backseat of the car, I always hit my head on the part where the roof meets the door. I'm 5' 10", which is an average male height, and yet, literally every single time I've ever been in the back seat of my car or in the back seat of an Uber ride that also drove a new-ish Chevy Equinox or similar car, I've hit my head on the headliner when the car turns. I also frequently use this car to transport my younger siblings who don't have a license or are in the process of getting one, and some of them have the same complaint. There's also not a lot of leg room in the back of the car, and again, I am about average male height. Two of my siblings are also around the same height as me. Also, this car is only five years old and the ABS light is already on. Now, this is not a huge deal, but my mom had an older GMC Acadia that she drove for about a decade before any warning lights appeared on her dashboard. Her car's ABS sensor never failed. Anyway, all in all, the newer Chevy Equinox is a really good car and I can see why it's the #1 choice for soccer moms.

I have owned 3 Chevy equinox and I like the way it looks and handles. It is a great family vehicle and very comfortable and safe. All 3 of my Equinox were the Premier class well worth the extra money and more features.

I've had one major issue with this car and it's concerning an air conditioning drain hose. I've had to have it drained and unclogged twice in 5 years. It has spilled water all over my floorboards and shorted out my radio and to me that is a design flaw in the car. I've never had any other car do that to me

After 4 years and 32K miles its been extremely reliable (tire sensor replaced), not a single rattle, and contrary to some replorts the 1.5L is more than adequate (cruse all day @ 80 MPH.

This review is for a 2.0 turbo AWD Equinox Premier that I bought new six years ago and put 95,000 miles on. Sadly, this 252 HP engine was discontinued shortly after I bought it. Only maintenance in its life were infrequent car washes, twelve oil changes, twelve tire rotations, four new tires at 66,000 miles, rear brakes at 72,000 miles, air and cabin filters replaced twice. I’m still on my original battery and original front brakes. It should be noted that I only use 5W-30 Mobil 1 oil and I change the oil myself religiously as the car tells me to, and rotate tires the same week. For disposal, I pour the oil back into the same container that it was purchased in, so I can say without a doubt that the car has never burned (or leaked) a single shot glass of oil in its entire life. I have never reset the odometer since the car left the factory, so I can say that it has averaged 26.2 miles per gallon over its life, terrific given the power that it has, though I will say that almost all of its miles are highway. That also explains why my mileage on my tires and brakes are so good. And I should add a comment on the auto stop/start that so many in here don’t seem to like. I love it.

I was skeptical at first, but Jonathan Medina quickly put me at ease. He was outgoing, but not pushy. He allowed me to fully inspect the vehicle at my pace. He was very forthcoming about the vehicle and very reasonable negotiating the price for the vehicle. Felt very comfortable with him and the other sales staff. The process was seamless. Glad I bought the premier model with all the “bells and whistles”. Suggests for improvement : Automatic folding side mirrors when parking Locking gas cap More staffing and customer friendly service for guaranteed warranty issues. (I was told 3 week wait for appointment followed by leaving the vehicle for another three weeks to check an engine light problem. Why couldn’t the service dept call me when ready instead of leaving the car for three weeks with no replacement vehicle?) The desk person suggested I take it elsewhere where the warranty wouldn’t be honored!

I bought this car because I needed a dependable SUV and have not been disappointed. Reminds me of my former BMW x3, but without the crazy upkeep costs. The Panoramic sunroof is great. Plenty of room for my weekend toys. A very satisfied customer. Drives like a dream, great gas milage. I like the Pumpkin color too!

I've been driving this car for nearly two years, have added 38k miles on it so far, and am now pushing 95K everything's been great, I haven't had any reliability issues, and everything is running smoothly. However, the gas mileage is nowhere near their claims, granted to don't drive conservatively but I'm getting anywhere from 19-22 mpg. Great car overall, especially for the price.

We purchased this car used from Hurd Auto Mall in Johnston, RI, with 1yr warranty. Unfortunately within 1 week of purchase we noticed driver door wasn't properly installed. Dealer refused to fix it. Will never go back to that dealership

15,000 miles when I bought it, and just got 96,000. Nothing except oil changes, brakes and tires. Going to replace spark plugs, vacuum pump, and battery before I hit 100,000 and I’ll be looking to put another 100,000 on it.

Byron, or sales associate, was extremely helpful throughout the sales process. We were coming to the dealership from an hour and a half away. They were able to accommodate our schedule, allowed us to arrive before they opened, take the test drive and had us out the door with our new car in an hour and a half.

I want people to know what a great buying experience I had at this dealership. I contacted 4 dealerships about 4 different cars, and Yassin F. was the only one that contacted me by phone, instead of a "canned" email. Yassin was so helpful and ran all over this large dealership (in the rain) to make sure things were just right. I would use Yassin again 100%. Linda at Tom Woods dealership in the service department was excellent! Not only that my oil was changed but it got pint inspection. And to top it all off my car got washed. My 2014 Equinox LTZ has over 200,000 miles on it. Been the most reliable vehicle I’ve ever owned including a Jeep Grand Cherokee. Will buy Equinox again.

I love the car, however, the maintenance team I had to work on the car was one star. I had my car serviced for an oil change for its 3 months change which was fine, but they wanted to charge $25 for wiper blades. lol I told them I was not going to pay and I had to see the guy who sold me the car and told no wiper blade last longer than 4 months. lol The car sheet said it came with NEW wiper blades. I had to do all the leg work and they didn't talk to the guys that sell the cars or any people on the other side. Why do they even have a "service center?"
