I have owned 3 Chevy equinox and I like the way it looks and handles. It is a great family vehicle and very comfortable and safe. All 3 of my Equinox were the Premier class well worth the extra money and more features.

I just had a major car repair to my Honda CRV and it is running like it's was brand new! The location was close to my work and where I live, so I decided to give them a chance. They ran a diagnosis and explained how this problem could effect my safety and my auto. I check out the diagnosis with a couple of courses, and I felt Titus-Will Chevrolet, Tacoma repair shop was the best for me to use! I have done several long trips, 2 cross-country trips and in town commuting. It is a smooth comfortable ride, easy layout for gauges and controls, roomy, holds tons of cargo, and has great fuel economy (I have gotten up to 38 mpg on the highway going 70mph). All of these were listed in the "bad"- and this has not been my experience. Furthermore, my dad was side-swiped hit and run on the 210 freeway at 80 mph in his equinox and it took it like a champ. It is an easy smooth ride, I feel safe. I strongly recommend this vehicle- really the best bang for the buck- you get way more than you pay for.

We had a great experience working with Jensen to buy our Nissan Leaf. He’s straightforward, honest, no high pressure. He listened to what we wanted and responded accordingly. He did share his opinions when asked but again was never slimy or pushy. Highly recommend working with him.

2018 2.0T AWD with 172k miles on it and it is going STRONG. Bought it used with 31k miles. Zero major issues but I've maintained it religiously, oil and transmission oil changed regularly. Spark plugs and coils had to be switched out at 130k miles but that's expected. Transmission is running strong and still sounds as great as the day I bought it.

I recently got a 2020 Equinox and there's a reason you see them everywhere. It's a great car that gets (somewhat) decent gas mileage. There's just a few issues I have with it. I've had to ride in the backseat of my Equinox a few times, whether I went out with friends and got slightly drunk or accidentally let my wallet go through the laundry. The point is… every time I have ever ridden in the backseat of the car, I always hit my head on the part where the roof meets the door. I'm 5' 10", which is an average male height, and yet, literally every single time I've ever been in the back seat of my car or in the back seat of an Uber ride that also drove a new-ish Chevy Equinox or similar car, I've hit my head on the headliner when the car turns. I also frequently use this car to transport my younger siblings who don't have a license or are in the process of getting one, and some of them have the same complaint. There's also not a lot of leg room in the back of the car, and again, I am about average male height. Two of my siblings are also around the same height as me. Also, this car is only five years old and the ABS light is already on. Now, this is not a huge deal, but my mom had an older GMC Acadia that she drove for about a decade before any warning lights appeared on her dashboard. Her car's ABS sensor never failed. Anyway, all in all, the newer Chevy Equinox is a really good car and I can see why it's the #1 choice for soccer moms.

Love the look and features, hate the 4 cylinder. Has no power. Very comfortable, smooth ride, handles nice, easy to park. Just don't try to pass unless you have plenty of room.

I previously owned a Chevy Trax, which was fine when I received the vehicle. The blessing it was, sustained me for what was pertinent; now, I have been blessed with more responsibility; said responsibility warrants a bigger vehicle. This vehicle is perfect for my family of four; my mother's wheelchair fits perfectly in the trunk, and there's still room for my nine year old daughter, my mother, and my sister. We worked with Alex during this visit. He was great. The way that he went through the car buying process was different from any other time I have purchased a car. He was not pushy and wanted to make sure that whatever car I chose was the car I truly enjoyed. He then made sure that the finance officer worked within my realm vs theirs. He went to bat to make sure that I left in something and that something was great. Not only Alex was great though. We purchased this car used from Hurd Auto Mall in Johnston, RI, with 1yr warranty. Unfortunately within 1 week of purchase we noticed driver door wasn't properly installed. Dealer refused to fix it. Will never go back to that dealership

This review is for a 2.0 turbo AWD Equinox Premier that I bought new six years ago and put 95,000 miles on. Sadly, this 252 HP engine was discontinued shortly after I bought it. Only maintenance in its life were infrequent car washes, twelve oil changes, twelve tire rotations, four new tires at 66,000 miles, rear brakes at 72,000 miles, air and cabin filters replaced twice. I’m still on my original battery and original front brakes. It should be noted that I only use 5W-30 Mobil 1 oil and I change the oil myself religiously as the car tells me to, and rotate tires the same week. For disposal, I pour the oil back into the same container that it was purchased in, so I can say without a doubt that the car has never burned (or leaked) a single shot glass of oil in its entire life. I have never reset the odometer since the car left the factory, so I can say that it has averaged 26.2 miles per gallon over its life, terrific given the power that it has, though I will say that almost all of its miles are highway. That also explains why my mileage on my tires and brakes are so good. And I should add a comment on the auto stop/start that so many in here don’t seem to like. I love it.

I had a 20/20 Equinox that I was traveling from Illinois to Florida. As I was getting back on 75 South I got rear-ended and throw a hundred feet. The car took the brunt of the hit my cat that was in the cage in the back never got hurt my dog that was tethered in the front seat never got hurt I got a small concussion with a bump on my head but overall I absolutely love the car. When I got reimbursed for my 20/20 I went out and bought another one I was so impressed with the impact it took for that crash.

Had a malfunction in the clock spring which controls the steering wheel controls. Took it back and they fixed it with no problems. Make sure you get the warranty.

I want people to know what a great buying experience I had at this dealership. I contacted 4 dealerships about 4 different cars, and Yassin F. was the only one that contacted me by phone, instead of a "canned" email. Yassin was so helpful and ran all over this large dealership (in the rain) to make sure things were just right. I would use Yassin again 100%. this is my 3rd Equinox. I drove the prior 2 about 90,000 miles and had no repairs - very reliable. I have 25000 on this one - no problems - a comfortable drive. 30-32mpg on a trip and 26mpg around town. mine has heated seats and dual climate controls/ both work well

Handles great on road very good brakes and stopping power, Good on gas. Had for over a year now and no flaws or complaints. Attractive interior and exterior!!

For the most part, we love this car. We do have some small issues. But we will focus first on the positives. The car itself has very comfortable seats, plenty of time inside, lots of safety features, looks really good inside and out and the extra large sunroof that goes almost front to back of the car is incredible. The power lift gate at the back, is a great feature! The backup camera is large and clear! The warnings whole backing up, are fantastic! It drives like a car, not like a tank! Overall, it's a fantastic car! The disadvantages are that there is a shimmy/shake in the car as it is pulling a hill. When you are gaining on the car in front of you a little quicker than the car in front of you is moving, the collision warning lights lighting up and the alarms sounding, is terrifying and not cool. Not being able to turn off some of the warnings that pop up every time you crank the car without hitting the dismiss button are irritating. But for the most part we would buy another one in a heartbeat and love our car!

When I need good transportation I go to see Ron on the corner mostly because I have always disliked car salesmen things are different here no xx take it or leave it so far I just made my third purchase pressure free and they remember your name when you return!

My 2014 Equinox LTZ has over 200,000 miles on it. Been the most reliable vehicle I’ve ever owned including a Jeep Grand Cherokee. Will buy Equinox again.

Great value with lots of standard features. Even though others in this class state low price online, I was unable to find those prices in our market. The equinox was about 4k less for the same features as Honda or Toyota or Kia or Ford.

Very comfortable and easy to drive. A lot of safety features and helpful technology built in. Love the style and body shape of this SUV. Plenty of room for passengers and cargo. No mechanical problems at all .Would buy this vehicle again

15,000 miles when I bought it, and just got 96,000. Nothing except oil changes, brakes and tires. Going to replace spark plugs, vacuum pump, and battery before I hit 100,000 and I’ll be looking to put another 100,000 on it.

I've been driving this car for nearly two years, have added 38k miles on it so far, and am now pushing 95K everything's been great, I haven't had any reliability issues, and everything is running smoothly. However, the gas mileage is nowhere near their claims, granted to don't drive conservatively but I'm getting anywhere from 19-22 mpg. Great car overall, especially for the price.
