It's a good car. Bought it used. I bought it with 84000 miles, now has 111,000 miles. Main computer had to be replaced, and was done under warranty. I replaced the brakes myself at 104,000 miles, and they were the original OE GM brakes the car was born with. Seats lack support, but I bought a leather cushion that helps. The back seat is really tight, ok for small kids. My fuel economy in the city can get to 23 mpg if I don't use the AC. It gets worse city mileage in the winter too. Highway mileage, the car does well, 34-35 if I drive it right. I think for a reliable used car, it's ok. They are cheaper than the Japanese competition. Rides and handles well.

AWESOME Team!! Service to Sales. On our trip to Mt Baker with the entire family loaded for a full day on the mountain, our 2021 GMC Yukon XL AT4 broke down on i5. Blade Chevrolet was the closest dealership to us. We snagged an Enterprise rental from down the street and left our GMC at Blade Chevy for repairs, this would be our first experience here, and will not be our last. As a former Service Director in Retail I was had the pleasure of working with Jason, Certified Service Advisor. It's a great car for getting around town. Mine is used - but I did own one of these new. Not a luxury sedan by any stretch but a good, solid, nimble vehicle. Excellent fuel economy. Nice features for a middle of the run sedan. Spacious trunk. Excellent handling. Excellent visibility through windows. Blind spots are there but not horrific. Overall a really good value for the dollar with good overall quality.

Love my 2017 Malibu Lt. Never any issues with engine , interior etc. new battery. Good performance. A reliable car . Sits 5 comfortably. Plenty of trunk space

I bought a 2011 w/ 7k miles and now have 163k miles. Very few issues new water pump 5 years ago, 2 brake jobs, synthetic oil changes every 3k miles, replaced windshield wiper motor. Very good vehicle for the $. Buying slightly used saved me $7k.

Over the years I have driven different cars. I had Malibus in 1974, 1977 and came back to the Malibu in 2014 and now have a 2018. It is my favorite car and is just the right size for me and family members. Drives nice and is good on gas. I get compliments on my 2018 model. I call myself malibu Man.

I had a travel experience in January 2023, while vacationing in Florida, to save money I ordered a subcompact and was up graded to a Chevy Malibu. The LT has the smaller 1.5 L 4 Cylinder which was great on gas, performance was good, not great like my Chevy Avalanche. Missed my flight back to JFK NYC, My fault. Jet Blue got me to LaGuardia AP. Rental Company at JFK was About to Close. The same Company had a branch in LaGuardia they rented me a Malibu at no extra cost. It snowed and the front wheel drive just held the road. That's why I purchased a 2020 Malibu Premier it had everything but the Safety & entertainment. I loved everything else.

Reliable car for me, mine has 229,000 miles and still going strong. It groans and clunks and has some rust but the engine still runs good doesn’t burn oil. Fairly simple and easy to repair. Definitely buy an older year if you want it to last.

I bought this car in early 2025 with 58,000 orig miles. A 6 cyl automatic. Still runs good, plenty of power, ac is still cold. Not a fancy car, but is dependable. Comfortable seats .

Got 104k miles . Did the recall with the power steering. Oil change 2x a year. Just a great car for me. Someone with skinny arms can change the headlight without taking off the whole front.

2014 Malibu has been the perfect car. 355,000 miles and still going strong. Only minor repairs (wheel bearings, 1 O2 sensor and a valve timing solenoid), all preventative maintenance, and 33mpg lifetime average. Drivers seat is worn but all else is still in good condition.

Another great purchase from our favorite dealership. We bought two of my wife’s dream cars here. I think the biggest deal is it all is they are amazing with trade ins. By far paid us out more than anywhere! We missed our original sales person but John was great. It was a pleasure and I can’t be more grateful for the manager Geoff to add more discounts on top of the deal. We didn’t ask for special treatment but we received it anyways. 2 months ago I went into Cortez Auto Sales in Burlington Washington, The following day I picked up my 2021 Camaro...
