Used Chevrolet Malibu for sale near Startup, WA under $30,000

I appreciated the process this time, I did my homework and was pre-approved thru a credit union. I'm still in that learning phase with my car but I'm happy with it.

It's a good car. Bought it used. I bought it with 84000 miles, now has 111,000 miles. Main computer had to be replaced, and was done under warranty. I replaced the brakes myself at 104,000 miles, and they were the original OE GM brakes the car was born with. Seats lack support, but I bought a leather cushion that helps. The back seat is really tight, ok for small kids. My fuel economy in the city can get to 23 mpg if I don't use the AC. It gets worse city mileage in the winter too. Highway mileage, the car does well, 34-35 if I drive it right. I think for a reliable used car, it's ok. They are cheaper than the Japanese competition. Rides and handles well.

This is my fourth Malibu, first one was a 2004 Maxx, second one was a 2017 Malibu LS, third one was a 2022 LS and now I have a 2024 RS, all four have been good cars with excellent fuel economy and space inside, maybe not as refined as some Japanese models but great cars regardless, give one a try....

Car performs well. Great fuel mileage. Wont will any races in car but is comfortable on long drives. Handles mountains well. Easy to drive handles well on city streets and highway.

We had the 2018 before this 2023 for 3years and it was amazing other than regular maintenance we put a battery in it that's it. Loved the car took us everywhere without fail very reliable. Has a mean punch with the 4-cylinder but it's the turbo Tranny makes it mean. It goes when you need to! Nice style looks classy and sporty. We got grey metallic paint it looks purple! We love this car too, a lot like our old one but new features for sure driving assistance features crash prevention, and new car deck bigger and better could use a lot more bass lol. But great sound without good bass. Malibu's are being discontinued so the wife and I will be looking at a impala next ride purchase as we fell hard for Chevy Period!

I've had my 2022 Premier for about 6 months. I like it more than I want to - I was waiting to buy a Cadillac later this year! I saw this Premier (2liter turbo) that was new last October with less than 4k miles (and 20+% under list) and could not pass it up. It's comfortable, quiet, handles well and is OK quick. It has heated rear seats, which I don't need but no power tilt/telescope steering wheel or power up pass. window. Fuel economy is spot on it's EPA rating. I have 2 small complaints. (1) the radio, set to Sirius/XM, will change to 97.4 FM - no warning/no reason. My local dealer updated the radio software but this stlll happens. (2) At the same instant the dash pod winks out...then comes back. Weird but I'm not gonna sweat this. Overall a nice GM product.

I bought a 2011 w/ 7k miles and now have 163k miles. Very few issues new water pump 5 years ago, 2 brake jobs, synthetic oil changes every 3k miles, replaced windshield wiper motor. Very good vehicle for the $. Buying slightly used saved me $7k.

Over the years I have driven different cars. I had Malibus in 1974, 1977 and came back to the Malibu in 2014 and now have a 2018. It is my favorite car and is just the right size for me and family members. Drives nice and is good on gas. I get compliments on my 2018 model. I call myself malibu Man.

I had called Auto Connections early one morning to inquire about a car I’d seen on Cars.com. A nice gentleman named Stu answered the phone. I really didn’t expect anybody to be at the facility as it was only 8 am. We had a wonderful conversation about growing up in Seattle, life in general, and lastly about the car I was interested in. About 30 minutes into the conversation I asked what his relationship with the dealership was? (I had assumed he was on the maintenance staff or the cleaning crew) To my Suprise he told me he was the owner, along with his partner Keith. I told him I’d be there in 5 hours and he said Keith would be waiting for me. Upon arriving at the dealership and entering the building I was totally floored! A collection of the most amazing vehicles I had seen in a long time. The next more impressive than the first, all beautiful and in pristine condition. I looked around and nobody was in the building which I found quite odd. (Most dealerships the sales staff swarms you). Finally I found a gentlemen in a back office, his name was Keith. What a wonderful individual. We drove the car around for several blocks and returned to the dealership. Keith provided the information about the vehicle, a CARFAX, what they had checked on the car and answered every question I had. Very comfortable individual to deal with. I was sold! We agreed upon a price and I told him I’d be back in the am with a check. There was no pressure to sign anything just a handshake, trust has been established. The next morning I met Stu the other owner. He was a wonderful gentlemen and we had a nice conversation. Doing my research that evening, I had discovered some issues with this particular vehicle and had gone down a Rabbit Hole on the internet. I made my concerns heard by Stu and he reluctantly gave me a few more hundred dollars off the price of the vehicle. This was both unfair to Keith, whom I had agreed to on a price, and to Stu who hadn’t been in on the prior days negotiations. When my wife and I returned a few days later, I returned the extra monies to Stu and apologized for my selfish behavior. I asked him to also sincerely apologize to Keith as we had made a purchase agreement. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase and my experience with Auto Connections. The car was made ready and any detailing and issues were addressed by Shane, the most grifted detail man in the business. This gentlemen is truly amazing at what he can do for a car. He went the extra 100 miles, even sanded the headlights for a clear beautiful look. Auto Connections covered all their bases and have the experience to truly find the car of your dreams. I bought my Malibu new after trading in my minivan, I was sick of minivans and have been very impressed with my Malibu. The car is large enough to fit everything I need, it accelerates quickly and still runs strong! I love how quiet the engine is and how smooth it drives. It rarely needs repairs and seems like it will run forever. The only ongoing issue it’s had that no mechanic can fix is that it has a tendency to die on me when I am backing out of parking spaces and my driveway. Sometimes after it dies I have to fight it a bit to get it started again and sometimes it starts right backup. I would highly recommend this car to anyone.

Reliable car for me, mine has 229,000 miles and still going strong. It groans and clunks and has some rust but the engine still runs good doesn’t burn oil. Fairly simple and easy to repair. Definitely buy an older year if you want it to last.

The Malibu is a fine car. The 1.5T engine is adequate but not much more than that. It also is unrefined and groans and grumbles. You can get around town relatively well and merge onto the highway but may want to leave space for passing trucks on two lane roads. The trunk is massive and is great for trips. Fuel economy is also stellar. We typically get 500 miles on a tank on road trips. The interior is quiet for the price of the vehicle. The materials on the other hand are sub par. Cheap plastics and cloth. To be fair it is a car that had a sticker of 28k. We have put just under 7,000 miles on the car and have had no reliability concerns. The sound system however is one of the worst I have heard. The sound really only comes out of the tweeters and the system is criminally underpowered. The rear leg room is fantastic and the overall ride and handling are good. The handling is the main redeeming quality of the way the car drives. I haven't pushed it hard but under quicker than normal steering on back roads it does compose itself with not too much body roll. The steering is tight and responsive. Overall I think this is a good car for someone not concerned about all of the newest bells and whistles and wants a sedan they can get a great deal on at the dealership. I have confidence that this will not have any major issues until around 130k miles.

My experience is out of this world. My friend francine has a 2022 malibu she took me for a spin she has some car and I want one she got hers at bay ridge chevrolet she loves driving it
