Bought new in 04 and in 2022 with 175k miles still running well. Original almost everything except tires and battery. Transmission might be starting to slip.

I was impressed with the buying experience and friendliness of the dealership. I did have one issue, and they addressed it fast with no issues.

Very roomy. Very sporty design. Love the windows in the ceiling for back seat passengers. Great on gas. Very comfortable ride. Driven back and forth from Ohio to Florida with no incidents.

If you wish to remain celibate, this is the vehicle for you! I've essentially have earned mine through attrition! My wife bought this car brand spanking new in 2005. Her 1st ever on her own. it never ceases to impress with the amount of power it has. Truly over-powered for its weight! I've had to do some maintenance other than tune-ups and oil changes, but for as ugly as this car is, I'm impressed with its durability! It just won't die!

05/01/2024 - will update if anything changes, but I couldn't be more pleasantly surprised by how NOT like a used car lot this used car dealer is. No pressure. No xx. Friendly. Seems honest and forthright. Personable people. They state that they won't put a car on the lot if it doesn't pass their mechanic's inspection. It's more important to them to make a reloable sale than to simply move volume. I hope that's true, because I bought my new-used car from them today to replace my old-new one that Lehigh drivers smashed up. I needed a boat hauler, and now I have one! I'm not happy to be on Lee County roads again, but I'm happy not to HAVE to take the bus, happy to be ON the water in my boat, and happy to have dealt with a dealer apparently interested in everyone leaving the transaction satisfied. They sent me a quote early in the process and before even being on the lot, which helped. "Gave me the Carfax [equivalent]", also. Took long test drive. Paperwork took a while, but it wasn't unpleasant. Did not trade in and did not finance, but review would not submit without me selecting something. I was looking for a hatchback because I have 3 40-50lb dogs. I test drove a number of other vehicles including a Jeep Cherokee, Ford & Toyota... when I got behind the wheel of the Malibu & started driving, I just got that feeling, that "this is it!" feeling.. my old car was a '99 Grand Am, & I got tired of the slow acceleration of the 4 cyl... the Maxx has the acceleration, and the space for the 3 dogs... the part leather seats are good with the hair, all I have to do is open the windows & sunroof & it blows out... It's rated for 24 hwy, but I've been getting 26, it doesn't compare to the 30+ mpg's of some, but it has the get up & go when I need it... I hope it does as well in winter as good as the summer. the only thing is the low profile tires, you can feel a lot of the bumps on the road

This car I must say.. is not at all cute to me.. But overall I love it and don’t let this little thang fool you it got power and very good on gas v6 is what I have... back seats recline like front seats more room then you think.

I bought this car used. I also bought the warranty with it. I wasn't happy with the dealer. The warranty covered all the repairs that the dealer should have made, but since then the car has been trouble free for the past ten years. Comfortable, easy to drive, excellent driver seat adjustment, great for hauling with the fold down rear seat, plenty of power. The only down side would be rear visibility due to the hatch back configuration.

Has been in my family's life since new, never needed any huge repairs and the car is 17 years old! Great on gas, cheap parts can be found anywhere (GM), and every mechanic knows how to work on it.

Fantastic experience. Luis did a fantastic job showing me the car I was interested In. If your looking for a hassle-free honest locally owned dealership this is for you. I was able to get my new car at a good price and it runs like a dream. My prior car needed some work due to the door being dented In. They offered me a really fair trade-in price. I didn't feel like they were trying to upsell me and they felt like honest friends to me. I will be continuing to use Jon and son's auto sales for future cars.

I've had this car for 4 years and the mileage is good. Seats could be worse, movable backseat which is something you don't usually see. Drives great, low maintenance, not a lot of problems in my experience.
