Since I've owned it, so far so good. I like my truck and I appreciate it everyday. A little bit of shaking in the steering at high speeds but I'm not concerned with it. Overall, pretty great.

I recently found a oil leak earlier on the engine oil cooling lines. It took a couple of days to find the parts to fix it. It seems the there were 3 dealers in the area that had the part but they were already designated for other pickups with the same problem. This being said I believe GM is aware of the problem and should take responsibility for the cost encured for repairs.

I have owned Chevrolet for over 70 years but the newer they get the worse the Electricions get right now having trouble with the brakes only work when everything esle is working.

I came in for normal routine service and Greg showed me a New Silverado that I drove home that same day at the same payment.

I took my Chevy Silverado in for a check engine light with no appointment and Melvin Thomas III greeted me and documented my concerns to have my vehicle inspected. Retrieved my vehicle the same day with all concerns addressed. I will definitely return to see my new advisor Mr. Melvin.

Picked my truck up today did take some time to get everything arranged but well worth it I did request that i wanted a new set of tires before I picked it up and that was not a problem. love my truck will write a follow up review after a little bit.

I had a base 2018 LT for just over 4 years. I bought it used off a lease buy back. I loved the truck, and if I didn’t end up needing a bigger back seat, for car seats, I’d probably still have it. I thought the ride was bouncy, almost too bouncy. I had no issues mechanically. The antenna was stuck and I marred it up trying to replace it. And the sunglasses holder started falling. The tpms sensors failed. But no big issues. That’s why I give it 4 of 5.

Bought used. Did some research on it found out problems with AFM. I installed a tuner and did AFM delete and got rid of the top speed limiter, also set other perimeters to high performance, cold air intake, got rid of vacuum pump for braking and went to intake vacuum for booster did tranny thermostat bypass. also changed intake from 5.3 to 6.2 and changed throttle body. Installed catch can for oil blow by. Installed a throttle control booster, change oil every 3000 miles has 125056 miles got rid of all3 cats and has headers and dual straight pipes. sounds great. hptuners got check engine light off. I have street raced this against Camaros mustangs ect and tear them up. tranny has no issues nor do valves. Have buried the Speedo several times max speed was 152mph going by speedo on tuner display. In a truck ride was smooth handles great. I dog the xxxx out of it and it just takes it. I invite others to race. tag says RUN YOU.

Chevy has been in the family for over years. I Love my truck.. I gave a second chance buying Chevrolet. My other vehicle was a Tahoe. And the transmission went out. So I decided to give it a second chance. Guess what my transmission went out on this one two.. Chevrolet should make a recall it's very scare and unsafe when truck just wants to go reverse.

Have the custom crew 5.3 .only wish it had center storage and volume controls.these should be standard on a 40 thousand dollar truck.great family truck ,great for pulling and bed hauling.

I have a 2020 1500 RST with the 5.3 engine and 8 speed transmission. My truck now has 67,000 miles. The acceleration is outstanding and smooth from gears 3-8. Probably could use more torque for gears 1-2, but not weak by any means. I have had no mechanical problems outside of the clunking rear suspension which was fixed by retorqueing the rear leaf spring suspension bolts. Other than that minor issue, it has been very reliable. I have heard these transmissions have had issues, but nothing that has caused issues for me. It has the 60-70 MPH shutter that is common to these transmissions, but I have learned how to drive to avoid the shutter, as I did with my 2011 1500. Overall pretty satisfied at this point. Comfort and amenities could be better for the front seats for the price, but I bought it knowing that. FYI my front brakes at this point are still 50%, and I have invested very little outside of a few fluid exchanges and routine maintenance. Excellent fuel mileage: 20 mpg with 50% highway vs city driving.

Both cars were bought site unseen - first time to ever do that for me! Sight unseen was quite nerve-wracking for me. Both vehicles exceeded my expectations and have been a pure pleasure to own & drive. My sales rep was Nick for both vehicles who was easy and up front to deal with. My father bought the first 4x4 our Chevy dealer ever sold, a ‘68 model delivered in the fall of 1967. He traded after that about every 4 years and my 2000 Silverado 1500 LS 4x4 5.3L is the last one he purchased before his passing. It had 45k miles on it when my mom passed away and I inherited it. It now has nearly 68k miles on in and I invested $12k in it to replace the inner and outer rockers, cab corners, rear cab mounts, replaced the box with a California takeoff, had the frame pressure washed and painted, the body repainted, and replaced the transfer case with a rebuilt NP 246 transfer case that had the “pump rub issue” corrected . The ‘68 model that had NO power steering or brakes, it had a manual shift transfer case, 3 speed manual transmission and its only options were an anemic 307 V8, lockout hubs, radio, custom cab, and wood pickup box floor. It drove and rode like a WW ll deuce and a half. It makes this 2000 Silverado look like a luxury limousine by comparison in ride quality, ease of handling, performance, driveability the convenience of the NP 246 electrically shifted transfer case (2 wheel HI, 4 wheel HI, 4wheel LO, and AWD), quiet cab sound level, and twice the fuel mileage with that coming along with twice the power. I put the money into this truck not only for sentimental reasons but also because I love the looks and styling of this truck and couldn’t find anything that I could replace it with for anything near the $12k that I put into it. The 4x4’s were TRUCKS back when dad first began looking in ‘66 and few dealers even stocked them except for a smattering in large cities. Those they had were 3/4 and 1 ton trucks that had a huge stack of springs and that you needed a small stepladder to get into. Dealers ordered them for “plow trucks” for snow plowing or for off road use by utility companies. Even hardly any farmers had 4x4’s back then in our area (north central Wisconsin). Power steering was rare and automatic transmission were even more rare if they were even available at all. The 4x4’s of today are largely bought by people who’ll never use the 4 wheel drive and seldom, if ever, haul anything. The last truck my dad bought has everything that I want and far more than I actually need. It still remotely resembles what I think of when I say “pickup truck”. It continually reminds me of my dad and especially of my mom who had to give up her ‘63 Buick LeSabre (w/automatic, PS, PB, and AC) for a brutish handling, manual everything pickup TRUCK which only had “4/60 air conditioning” and that she had to drive everyday to the school where she taught.

2021 LT Trail Boss has great styling, powerful engines, and tons of technology in a great package. A commanding view of the road, a nice comfortable interior, amazing Bose Stereo system, tons of storage and tons of space for adults in the crew cab. But there are issues, side mirrors are too small, harsher ride (which I expected), and DFM, GDI engines, and questions on the 10 speed transmissions. I recommend disabling DFM ASAP or using the L9 trick to overide the system, to help prolong the life of the engines from lifter failure. Mine is under warranty for another 18K miles, if it acts up at all its into the dealership for warranty service.

I’m very surprised with the quality and build of the truck for preowned. My first truck that I’ve personally owned but I’ve had experience with trucks before. I’m really enjoying the new truck and look forwards to using this daily.

This truck met all of my needs for work and for work around the house hauling materials to build and update as needed and for wood to heat the house.

Very good fuel millage. Not transmission problems yet. Have 103000kms. Starter failed in 2019, repaired under warranty. Has great power for a 5.3L. Quite and soild build
