Used Chevrolet Silverado 2500 trucks for sale near Fox Lake Hills, IL under $1,000,000

I haven't had time to get together with the dealership I am hoping to go in this weekend.

Was trying to chose between Chevrolet and Ram. To get the options I wanted I would have to shop the Laramie trim package. Chevrolet offers the LT trim level that allows you to load it up with the options I needed and at a lower price than the Ram. Chevy beats Ram on tow capacity, bed legnth, flex tailgate, and camera system is better. The new 10 speed transmission delivers great mpg. In my first long distance trip I averaged 19.5 mpg Better than my old Ram 1500.

I do wish the front seat would recline but that chan be changed .lock system a bit noisy but works goodhavent had lo g so well see how it dies this summer

M. Decker is a great Service Rep. very knowledgeable and honest and keeps you informed of what is being done on your car and if anything needs to be fixed

Truck looks and runs like a dream. Of course, I only have 2,000 miles on it. If this truck gives me 150000 miles without anything major then it’s a win, win. I have a good feeling about it. Time will tell.

I only visit this dealership because Carlos is working in the service center. He is always great. He takes care of my vehicle quickly and I can always trust that my vehicle is fixed right.

If you get this truck , you need sulastic shocks . You’ll thank me later. No more bouncing and hitting your head on the ceiling. That is the single complaint I have. Other than that it’s the best thing ever. Even with the low tech. I have 90k miles on my 2021 duramax and it drives like new.

Salesman was not pushy. Very helpful. There were a few cosmetic issues with the vehicle, but they had just gotten it in and out did not concern me. The appearance of the dealership is very basic, but I think that is part of the reason they don't have a ton of fees. They were very transparent about everything.

I have had fords, GMC s, and Chevy trucks my whole life. I have to say that my 2019 6.0 Chevy 2500hd is the best truck that I have ever owned. I actually get a smile on my face every time I drive it. I like the way the interior is laid out. I love the room that it has in it. The electronics aren't over whelming in it. And it's so nice to drive. Now the fuel mileage is not the best. I drive my truck back and forth to work everyday and it's all highway and I'm averaging 15-17 mpg. But I drive it 70-80 mph. So if I slowed down it would, I'm sure do a little better than that. But the truck does everything that I need it to do really well. I pull our camper with it. I use it to get Hay for our cows. I haul cows and horses to and from auctions and shows. I love my truck and I will have it for years to come.

My dad and I went here on Saturday to look at a couple trucks. They basically gave us the run of the place and left us alone while we inspected the trucks we were interested in. They offered to let us test drive any vehicle we wanted. Everyone here was super nice and they don't pressure you to buy. They still didn't pressure us to buy even after we had decided that we weren't going to purchase on Saturday yet. All of the trucks that I viewed here were rust free trucks.

This is the second day I've owned the vehicle I am impressed with the power and the handling of this truck. Driving it is most comfortable compared to what I trade it in for it

I purchased a truck from them in january 2022, unfortunatly the truck broke down on my way home, it first started with a coolant leak. after my mechanic fixed the leak he noticed the truck was getting a lot of missfires and no codes coming out, they had already replaced fuel bump, and catallic comberters( which the old ones were super burned out) this was now a month later after i had purchased the truck and yet after doing all that work it still didnt run right.... called motorsource to let them know what had happen with it. they were aware that it broke down since day 1 of driving it.. we both agreed that the vehicle needed more work and decided to bring it back to motorsource.. it was a really bad experience at first but these guys understood that the truck was bad or needed work to be sold and we were able to replace it for another truck that would work and didnt have any issues.. Over all experience was great.. these guys were super honest about the situation and were willing to help another business owner with their bussiness needs.. HIGHLY recomend.

This truck looks sharp. More importantly it has power to pull your trailer. It sits high and goes through the Michigan snow & ice with ease. You will look great & feel good knowing the Silverado 2500 will not leave you stranded. I’ve owned Tahoe’s for the past 15 years just bought my first Silverado 2500 with a matching topper. It cost less then a Tahoe and does MORE. Jump in men & ladies you will love it.

Visited Raymond Chevrolet on 10/10/25 after texting with Blake. When I arrived I was greeted immediately by Drew and he seemed to immediately know exactly why I was there. Pulled the car around that I wanted to look at and off we went on a test drive. Drew had more of a consultative approach rather than a high pressure approach which was definitely appreciated. The car drove great, yet my hopes weren’t high due to the fact that I have bad credit because of some stupid mistakes I made when I was young and haven’t spent the time/effort to repair yet. After a quick discussion with Drew upon our arrival back at the dealership, Jerry, the Used Car General Manager, came over to sit with me and he answered every single question I had written down (and there were around 15 of them!). At this point, they already knew my credit situation since I made them aware pretty early on. Instead of just going through the motions, EVERY single employee at Raymond Chevrolet took the time to make sure my questions were answered and ensure I had a great experience and I never felt less than or judged because of my credit situation. After Jerry answered all my questions, I wanted the car! I had previously been denied for an auto loan through a local credit union (even with offering a higher down payment than I did at the dealership). It didn’t take long at all and after a very short wait Jerry came over and approached me with his thumbs up, “we got you approved.” I was literally shocked….Sure, I didn’t get the best interest rate possible, but with my credit, simply getting an approval at all was amazing. At this time it was around 9:30 PM and the dealership closes at 9:00 PM. If there was an employee that was needed to make this happen for me that night, they hung tight and worked late to make sure I was taken care of. I want to give a special shout out to Janelle, the Customer Experience Manager. Janelle walked me through some very important Tesla specific topics and was very patient with me. The entire time I felt like I was being HELPED, not SOLD. Any “add-ons” were throughly explained and literally each one made sense with my situation (kids, first time Tesla owner, Chicago winters, etc.)… They offered me what I really needed, not just what they could make extra money on. Janelle made sure that I was clear on everything and then I wrapped up the process with the Sales Manager Cooper. Cooper made the signing process extremely easy and went above and beyond to make sure that what needed to get done, got done that night regardless of the time or any obstacles we encountered. At this point, I was extremely happy with my experience & it was time to head out at which time Jerry (manager) and Drew (sales person) escorted me from Antioch to Pleasant Prairie just so that I could take the vehicle home THAT NIGHT. Keep in mind, by the time we arrived in Pleasant Prairie, WI, it was at least 1:30 AM. My plan was to check out a vehicle so that I could then go look for a co-signor because I didn’t think I stood a chance of getting an approval; however, the folks at Raymond Chevrolet made it possible for me to make ONE trip to the dealership, purchase the vehicle ai wanted AND take it home that same day… All while going above an beyond to make sure that I was taken care of and having a great experience which I 100% did. IF YOU ARE AFRAID THAT YOUR CREDIT WILL PREVENT YOU FROM BUYING A CAR FROM A DEALERSHIP, I URGE YOU TO VISIT MY NEW FRIENDS AT RAYMOND CHEVROLET AND JUST GIVE THEM A CHANCE TO DO WHAT MANY PLACES JUST AREN’T ABLE TO - ON MANY DIFFERENT LEVELS (non-judgement environment, friendly and extremely helpful staff and even the ability to obtain an approval for financing for someone with POOR credit). For the most part we do like this truck. It tows our 31’ TT wonderfully. One major problem the transmission went at 68000 miles last month 6/14. Also the factory warranty expired in January along with the extended warranty that we never should have bought. Rip off for sure. We never needed it. So angry. The estimate was 7000$! And then when the transmission goes you have to replace the radiator another 1500$! We did get it repaired with everything done for 6900$. Chevy did help out some as well as the dealership. But I’m still angry that it went with low mileage and I will never ever get sucked in again on an extended warranty

It exceeds my needs. I tow two horse trailer fully loaded maybe 8000 lbs but it has never felt like I had anything behind it. it breaks well and handles like a dream for truck. Love the extras like cooling seats and exhaust breakn ever been happier with a truck. I am sure I can haul a living quarters 3 horse gn with it

This truck has more options or as they sat bells and whistles then most luxury cars. No regrets with a cgevy. By far the best trucks I have ownef.

Since moving out to the NW area we have been going to Bigger Chevrolet for service. We only had an issue one time and it was handled immediately by the owner. For me that says a lot so I?ll be a constant customer. When ready to upgrade my vehicle this is where I?ll go because if you have a good service department and the owner responds to any issues, no matter how small then it?s an honest dealership worthy of my patronage. Our sales consultant was John Lee. My husband and I were looking to buy a 2025 Equinox. John was probably the most patient, fair and knowledgeable salesperson I've ever worked with in all the years of us purchasing vehicle.
