This must be the most under rated vehicle in history. Exceptionally well designed and made. Nothing but quality all around. I am actually buying a second one soon. Fun to drive.

everything went well. truck was repaired and runs well. tech found the thermostat was faulty and replaced it. I was charged $620, it seemed high to me.

This vehicle keeps everyone looking. It is amazing how many people have no idea of what it is. a convertible is what causes them to look on bewildered.

I drive mine like an old lady for 2 reasons. I want it to last and I hate getting tickets. I have to restrain myself every time I get behind the wheel 🛞 😩 but, it is satisfying in the most soul stimulating way, knowing that at any given moment I can romp on it like a little old lady from Pasadena. 🚀

After searching for several months, I picked up a 2004 SSR. Shear FUN!! Living in Texas, I already have other convertibles so I am sure to drop this top often. Only driven SSR about 1200 miles thus far . . . rides stiff (like a pickup) but got 22.5 mpg on a 750 mile interstate drive. A dream on smooth roads . . . rough rides on city streets.

I am the second owner of a 2004 Purple SSR. I bought it in 2012. It has 18K miles on it. Is a great fun car that people stare at. They don't know what it is. A relatively inexpensive weekend car. Gas mileage is awful but it takes regular gas. It is a bumpy ride and has interior little noises with the top up. I rarely drive it in the winter so the top is mostly down. If you are looking for a fun weekend car this could be the one.

Would like my car back in whatever aay we can!!! But I want it in not blue not like the car from the MVC bc this car was so fabulous!!!!! But I?m safest driver so I would NEVER be in an MVC

This is my first SSR, my wife and I absolutely love it. I am 71 years old and it brings back great memories. We have owned 5 Corvettes, and the SSR rates above all the cars we have owned.

Harrison Barnette was very understanding of my unique situation. My home and a vehicle had been destroyed by the November 3rd tornado in OKC. I found a very similar truck online, and Harrison was somehow able to hold the truck even though I had no firm date for delivery due to everything that I was experiencing. The selection was very good. Autos I wanted to drive were washed and brought up front for easy review and test drive. Folks were nice and reasonably low pressure for an auto dealership. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a used car within 30 or 50 minute of their location.

Update: Today 8-9-22 the owner called and I went down to the dealership to talk with him. He said he would replace my dash with a OEM part from GM. He was very nice and wanted to make this right. That is all I wanted from the very start. So I promised to pull this complaint when it is all said and done with. Stay tuned

If you're thinking about buying one know what you are getting into. Chevy and GM inmost cases long ago stopped making parts specifically for the SSR. Trying to find parts can often be a challenge. There is a good network ofSSR owners who can be very helpful as ling as the have the time and desire to be helpful. There are also a few private individules to stock some needed parts, but you have to do your homework to find them . Pray that the retractable hardtop doesn't malfunction. The closest person capable of fixing mine if it had ever gone down lives 150+ miles away, is 80+ years old and will only help fix if he's not feeling too grumpy when you ask. Final note: '05 and '06 are the best years to get, HP was increased from 300 to 390. If you use it as a weekend fun car I say go for it. A daily driver? No.

Chevrolet built it to be a pace car, and it operates that way. Car is built heavy to keep it square to the ground, but it goes from 40-80 on the press of the gas peddle... The retractable roof is phenomenal engineering, and there is always someone taking pictures or posing with the car.

What was looking for as last year end of production and options. Over all car feels if previous owners did there best to maintain,though tranny going to overdrive a little sloppy
